Pros (+) We needed a nice place to stay for a quick night in Baton Rouge and Watermark fit the bill. Loved the unique, masculine style of the room and bath, with plenty of windows for natural light. Even the oak scented bath products with the exfoliating bath bar were nice touches. All the staff we encountered were super accommodating and friendly.
Cons (-) The Gregory restaurant left a bit to be desired. Beautifully decorated and wait staff are wonderful, but slim options on cocktails and drinks and the food is ridiculously overpriced. They set themselves up to be a five star type restaurant with the pricing and fail miserably in the delivery of the product.

Pros (+) Tasteful and elegant decorations of lobby and rooms. Staff were friendly and professional. The details of the bank are integrated into the hotel's decor. Comfortable beds with wonderful pillows.
Cons (-) Surrounding area of warehouses and some construction. You are on your own with self parking locally.

Pros (+) Visiting LSU with son who is a rising Freshman, we couldn't of picked a better hotel. Close to LSU and all good places in BR. Downtown is revitalizing with open bars and restaurants close by. The bar and restaurant at TheWatermark is top notch and thriving. We will be back!
