Cons: Since the hotel is located in an old convent, this has repercussions for noise transmission. Our room was overlooking the inner hallway and we experienced some noise disturbance - we could hear music playing somewhere (presumably outside the hotel) till well past midnight on a Monday.

Pros: The location of the hotel is what we enjoyed most.
Cons: They gave us a room with two twin beds instead of a large bed for a couple. To take a shower we had to go into the bathtub that was stuck on a corner. The passage to get in and out was narrow, only half of the bathtub was the entry way. In addition to the difficulty getting in and out, the floor of the tub was very slippery, a dangerous combination. Buffet breakfast was average.

Cons: Did not like the layout of the room / bathroom .. very little privacy as to access the wardrobe, mini-bar space etc, you technically were in the bathroom with only the glass sliding door to conceal the toilet. Room was at the front and was extremely noisy. The black out linings / curtains did not meet so the room was still light at nighttime. The towels and bathrobes are much too heavy and are therefore not absorbent. Bathrobe did not fit my husband. To go for a swim you had to contend with the noise and dust from ongoing renovation work. Lots of dust in the room and on the carpet. No soap in bathroom so had to look for the housekeeping staff and request.

Cons: I don't think this hotel would be classed as a 4* by Irish standards, perhaps a 3* rating? The room was small, but functional. Slight smell of damp, but we didn't spend much time in the room, so not a big issue.

Cons: The only thing I would suggest would be for the beds to be more fixed to the floor. The floors were lovely and shiny but slided a bit. So when there was movement in the bed, the bed moved too. Not a big problem, just a bit annoying.

My daughter, who is now studying in Alicante university for 6 months, could offer several suggestions on how to improve the english translation. The rooms should have a small kettle and cups so that guests can make a cup of tea or coffee early in the morning when they get up or late in the evening before they go to bed

Cons: Walls are paper thin.you can hear everything ( and I mean everything)from room next door. We booked half board but dinner was cold and unvaried with little choice making it inedible so we had to make alternative arrangements which was very dissapointing.

Was there for my partners birthday and they did an excellent job in having Cava and Fruit in our room on arrival. Cons: I did ask if it would be possible to have a kettle in our room as I do not eat breakfast and only drink water which is fine by me as I can put a bottle of water in the fridge in the room, but my partner likes his coffee in the morning. Would have even been willing to pay extra perhaps this should be an optional extra for any room that you were in. The only other comment would be that any time we were leaving or arriving not one of the reception staff looked up from the counter to say either hello or goodbye. Would also suggest putting some more information about the hotel facilities in the room. We went to have a meal in the restaurant but was told it was fully booked. Would have been nice if we had been advised that it would be best to book a table. Also they need to put an anti-slip mat in the bath (I took my own).

Unfortunately, the Shuttle Bus would not pick us up to enable us to get to the Railway Station, so we had to walk - about 25mins. Probably would be able to get back to the Airport more easily.

Cons: The smell in the first room we were given. When we told reception, he initially made a note of it, but we had to ask again to change the room. The second room was perfectly fine, so we were happy with the change.

Cons: I could hear every single sound from across the hotel, the walls were like paper. The bathroom was discusting! We had to wear socks in the shower because we thought we would get somekind of fungus from the floors. The neighbors (kids and adults) were screaming in halls and banging on the walls and slamming the doors. We could t even sleep because of the noise. The tv if that is what you could call it, didnt even work. And the worst thing was that the room was freezing and that had alot to do with the no sleeping part! Someone kept opening the window outside of our room and the freezing air came straight into our room.

Cons: Noise! If you are looking for a quiet stay where you can rest after 10pm this is not the place. The walls are thin but this wasn't even the problem. During the evenings you will experience a lot of noise as kids are running up and down the stairs and kicking your door. Also, you will expect some support from the staff at the front desk, at least by asking the other guests to be a bit aware of the surroundings, but no. In return you will get a rude verbal reply to your complaint - they can't do anything until midnight.
