The property is in a wonderful location, near to access to the Santa Barbara castle, the Rambla, the central market, and there is a bus stop for the C6 airport bus just across the road. Although on a busy street, the hotel is quiet, and sleep is not disturbed by street noise.
I liked everything about the property.
Breakfast is amazing. Room is clean. Location is very good for city walk.
I found out that hotel had withdrawn a part of the fee upon arrival. I was not notified on that in the reception. This is unfortunate as I intended to pay with a different card and what happened caused some extra fees I could have avoided. They could not accommodate the need for a double bedroom although I placed a note upon reservation that I will be travelling with a partner and to attend that.
Hotel centrally located, so only short walk to beach, central shopping, old town, castle etc Friendly staff. We had room facing main street. With windows closed, was very quiet in room. Reasonable sized room. Built in wardrobe. Free use of safe in room. Air conditioned.
There was no toilet brush in bathroom. For us, the optional additional breakfast at €8.50 each was not worth it. We found coffee from machine not very hot and scrambled egg from hot area, was very lukewarm. You can get a good coffee, orange juice and large croissant from local cafes at about €10.00 for two persons
Very helpful reception staff Good access to the historic part of town
Twin beds rather than the double which we ordered. No real views from our window, except commercial buildings opposite. Kitchen staff slow to clear tables at breakfast. Difficult for guests to find clean table. Layout of breakfast foods was odd. More coffee machines needed
Nice room, nice breakfast!
