9.2 Excellent
Pros: location is fantastic, rooms are large, bed very comfortable, staff very friendly and bathroom large

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Central location backing on to lovely square. Newly renovated room and bathroom. Good eating choices in pedestrian-only street at front door. Public parking nearby.
Cons: It'd be nice if there was a lift, but the staff helped carry our bags and overall it was good value for money.

7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is beautiful ,the staff were very friendly and would stay again if room was to the rear of the hotel

9.2 Excellent
Pros: A small wonderful and very welcoming hotel. The building is old but the room was sparkly clean. However, no air conditioner in august was a little bit hard.
Cons: Having no air conditioner
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owner of this hotel couldn’t do enough for us he was lovely. The hotel itself is really quaint and in a quiet location but quite a treck to the lake. We borrowed bikes from the owner luckily so it only took 20 minutes for us to get there!
Cons: Location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is run by a lovely couple, really helpful and friendly. They gave us bus passes and clear instructions how to get down to the lake, and also recommended a visit up mount revard which was fab. It’s situated within walking distance of the station and loads of shops and restaurants. They’ve got a cute dog too which my kids loved
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved the history of this place. The host was very welcoming, and was able to speak to us in English very well! He gave great recommendations for restaurants and activities with our children.
Cons: It was a bit warm up on the 3rd floor the night we stayed, but no one can change the weather, so we made the best of it.
9.2 Excellent

Pros: Romantic villa with a lot of old details, very nice classic breakfast, refreshing pool with good sunbeds
Cons: No drinks available or fridge in the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness of the host, the quality of the breakfast and the decoration of the room
Cons: Parking isn't really easy, especially if you have a SUV or rather large car
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Host was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was elegantly presented.
Cons: Earliest check-in time available was 6 pm. Bath and shower facilities were quite attractive, but inadequate in size for comfortable use by a larger person.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous location. Welcoming host. Very homely. Easy to come and go with independent access to the room. Lovely breakfast on the terrace. All done beautifully but without fuss. Very good secure parking.
Cons: All good
7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice house, parking in the garden, good breakfast, nice pool and view.
Cons: We had a room under roof and A/C was out of order so it was quite hot there. Wi-fi was also out of order. Host doesn't speak english. Location is quite far from city center and up to hill so it is not comfortable walk. P.S. We like provence style but our room was maybe too modern with a lot of fur and shiny decoration. But there are nicer rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, good location, fabulous views. Lovely well appointed room.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast had a good variety
Cons: There was no way to get into the property had to rely on other guests to open the gate, no remote for the cooling system had to have Windows open and the mosquitos we're horrendous. No shower we had to sit in the bath and try and wash with a hand held shower head, not acceptable. Wifi did not work at all for the whole stay and the tv did not pick up any channels. Bed sheets balled and threadbare.
Les Suites du Lac - Aix-les-Bains - Building
5
8.6 Excellent (453 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Les suites du lac in Aix-les-Bains, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Lake Bourget and Plage de Mémard. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very stylish and luxurious. Great views. Excellent breakfast (the eggs from their own chickens are amazing). Helps if you speak some french (it is France after all!)
Cons: Parking could be complicated in summer (but they do have a plan in place for this whereby keys are left and they can move them). No footpath at rear and no lift (we don’t think) so accessibility for children/wheelchairs may be difficult. (Apologies if we missed the lift!)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is on a busy road but once you manage to park your car and check in, you find a peaceful hotel with a lovely St Tropez like garden and pool. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Great views on the lake and very close to the harbour where there are many restaurants and from which the tour boats leave.
Cons: Diner menu was limited and when we were there, the pool looked a bit too green for my liking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is fantastic and the stuff was very attentive and caring. We will definitely go back to this nice little charming hotel. Nice view to the lake and the mountains. The breakfast was great, they also have a nice selection of wine and champagne and the accommodation is really good.
6.7 Good
Pros: When we arrived at the property, a little early, we were understandably told that our room was not ready. We were told we could sit out on the sun loungers and use the pool. However, the first thing we were greeted by was a pile of dog poo on the AstroTurf around the pool. If that wasn’t enough to put you off, the pool was murky with a robotic pool cleaner wending it’s was around the edges, not really something we wanted to share the pool with. We were so put off by our initial impression of the place that we sat looking on our phones for somewhere else to stay. Eventually our room was ready so we left the poolside. We didn’t return there for the rest of our stay! Our room was lovely and it had a large outside seating area, which was where we spent our time whilst at the hotel. At breakfast and dinner the owner’s three little dogs had free reign of the kitchen and dining room, bothering people at their tables. One morning while eating breakfast one of the dogs squatted and poo’d outside the dining room window! Revolting. At one point one of them jumped up at me and put its paws on my lap while I was eating dinner. I do not think a hotel dining room is the place for dogs. All that said, I must say the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Mainly the DOGS. It is difficult to park on sloping drive from busy main road, plus not many parking spaces. Quite a way to walk to the Lac.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views. Beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. It was lovely to sit beside the pool and have a drink.
Cons: Very little we didn’t like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views were amazing. Staff extremely helpful. Had a wonderful stay. Thank you
7.9 Good
Pros: The views were stunning, although that is what you hope for when you pay extra for it. The breakfast was nice with a good selection. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Car park was a bit awkward. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as expected especially at that sort of hotel with a suite.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Wonderful Estate, high quality Pool and Sun beds. Beautiful Mountains and lake view.
Cons: We came in midnight, nobody in House, but it was agreed before, we have found out room. In beds we found dogs stains and hairs. We couldn't use balcony , because automatic blinds were closed by some mistake- two evenings we were separated from our balcony- it helps, if You want stop smoking during holidays. Last Pearl is small lift, which works, but is blocked. In night with luggage in hands believe me, steps are high and stairs are long. But it's written on website, so it's not main minus. You can see photos of dogs stains, hairs and blinds.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location!
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nicely appointed
Cons: A lot of stairs

This hotel features 646 square feet (60 square meters) of event facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The free use of the spa facilities and the breakfast was fantastic.
6.3 Good
Pros: the location is great, nothing to do with the hotel. The spa, etc.., nice although very cramped around the jacuzzis.
Cons: the location is great, nothing to do with the hotel. I cannot believe it is a 4 stars hotel. the bar is horrible. not a cosy place to be, We usually go to the Mercure, we wanted to try this lovely location, that ticked the box but next time we will go back to Mercure.
6.7 Good
Pros: The view - if we didnt have a lake view i would have been very disappointed. The view saves this hotel.
Cons: The staff were not very helpful, the double bed was two singles pushed together and pillows were very uncomfortable. Pretty standard 3* hotel
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A large, clear room with quiet air conditioning; the swimming pool open late; a fenced parking lot
Cons: The staff should enforce the swimming pool rules (no jumping for instance)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Super spa facilities, fantastic room with balcony and lake view. We loved this hotel, the spa facilities and great, stylish armchairs in reception area. Coffee was excellent at the bar.
Cons: A shame we couldn't access our room until 4pm. (But the 12 noon checkout the next day enabled us to use the spa again in the morning. So no complaints. ) Breakfast was bit pricey so we declined.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good, great spa.
Cons: Nothing at all
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to the lake and marina, several restaurants in the nearby area, the magnificent sauna in the hotel, breakfast was good and the closeness to the bike path
Cons: We happened to arrive mid Sunday. We were told that everything is closed and maybe some carts would have food in a festival nearby. This is mid afternoon after a day’s ride in bicycles. So we took their very expensive brunch which was pretty much a breakfast with a bit of chicken and mashed potatoes to later find out that there are several restaurants in walking distance, all open and with better food. Disappointing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spa
Cons: Nothing
5.4 Okay
Pros: A lovely location and if you’re on a high enough floor you’ve got a great view. Bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Rooms were tired and dated. Initially we were given a second floor room with essentially a view of a tarmac roof. Staff did move us to a room on the 5th floor with a better view. The hotel advertises free bicycle hire which we’d booked via booking.com ; when we arrived we discovered that this wasn’t available as the hotel only has two bikes (for presumably 100 odd rooms).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location for lakeside restaurants and activities. Good size balcony and huge bed. Not too busy although we stayed mid week. Wife enjoyed the spa facilities.
Cons: Difficult to find. Hotel sign directed us to Petit Port and you cannot drive into hotel that way. Sign posts leaving the hotel back to main road were also poor

Cons: Although toilet in at the bedroom, the shower is two floors up
7.1 Good
Pros: This hotel is in the traditional town centre area close to the station, shops and restaurants.
Cons: Other hotels are more convenient for the lake which is a major reason for a stay in Aix les Bains.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A nice hotel. Old style. But the owner's kindness is unique :)
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was great - less than 10 mins walk from the train station. Lots of restaurants nearby. Owner was very friendly. He has recently acquired the hotel and hopes to renovate next year. Price was reasonable.
Cons: The property is old and the pipes in the walls are very noisy at night. Anytime anyone runs the flush you can hear the water in the pipes. Bed was uncomfortable. Overall had very bad sleep all three nights. I was in a single room with a toilet, bath was separate on 3rd floor. But bath was only cleaned once during my 3 night stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was perfect. Staff were excellent.
Cons: No Air Con

7.5 Good
Pros: Friendly staff able to have dinner at the hotel. Lovely garden and pool
Cons: No air con and could not open window as opened directly onto terrace therefore, room extremely hot and stuffy,in spite of fan that was provided. Not good in hot summer months
7.1 Good
Pros: Pool and gardens are beautiful, breakfast is great, something for everyone. Staff is very kind and pro. Close by the lake and restaurant but still need to take the car.
Cons: A bit surprised there was a train track passing just by the hotel. Our room was quite old style deco, no airco, one ventilator for three people.
6.7 Good

Cons: The room smelled unventilated and musty. Small room with old carpet.
7.5 Good

Cons: Standard double rooms a bit small and no airco in our room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good atmosphere, excellent food
Cons: Car park slots much too small!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and welcoming hosts. The rooms are very clean and nicely done.
Cons: The Internet, even if we didn't use it much, is very very slow. Even browsing the next destination took a long time, I guess it won't take much to improve this, so please have a look at it.
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast and swimming pool area: no complaints, beautiful garden.
Cons: Room 221: extremely small room for 3 persons, quite seriously outdated and highly prized compaired to international hotels in the neighbourhood. Breakfast and swimming pool area: no complaints, beautiful garden. Absence of airco in our top floor room was not appreciated... temperature in room measured was 32°C...
9.2 Excellent

4.6 Okay
Pros: Bed was of good Qualität. Breakfast offering ok. Positive reaction to early departure.
Cons: Room needed a complete overhall to meet expected three star standard. Looked dated and needing update such as the floor to the elevator did. Location is not everything.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff with hotel in a great location for exploring the town / nice gardens to sit in
Cons: Rooms in attic were hot
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness and location.
Cons: No Air Conditioning in room. Television did not work.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The en-suite room we got (instead of a family room) was very pleasantly luxurious, beautifully furnished, with comfy beds and a modern bathroom with a simply great shower. The modest inner city and the baths of Aix-les-Bains were at walking distance. It was very comfortable to park the car on the hotel's safe premise. Easy check in and out, nice breakfast.
Cons: The bed had a sort of non-damp-permeable sheet, which made it a bit sweaty for me. Pity, because the bed itself was superb in its mattress. Natural material over synthetics, I'd suggest.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is wonderful, right next to the Faure Museum and just a couple of blocks from the historic center. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are just OK, nothing more. Parking onsite is a nice touch. The gardens are quite nice and a lovely place to relax. Good to have an elevator.
Cons: The rooms are VERY small and the floor in #207 is buckling. The hallway is not carpeted, just has carpet runner with bare concrete showing on both sides. Pillows were so thick and hard I could not use.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff went out of their way to be helpful to us on our arrival and during our short stay. My elderly musical mother was delighted by the concert organised that eve for France day of music
Cons: Liked everything
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and overall value for money. There is car parking on site.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: We booked a confort room but sadly, most of them don't have a view to the lake, so we asked to get a Superior Room, and we got the key in less than 2 minutes. Great choice, even if the confort room was really nice, the view of the lake worth it! Staff really nice and disponible, they called the taxi for us and even at nigh the stuff was really kind.
Cons: Swimming pool didn't have anyone watching around, when we get into the jacuzzi we were 5 (max 6 people) and some minutes late, a mum with her 2 children arrived and we needed to go out. It's a little bit far from the train station (30 minutes by foot) but for staying next to the lake I don't think we could get something better.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great swimming pool area - kids loved it. Staff were lovely. Food was great in restaurant.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice large room (suite) Great bed Helpful staff Free parking Quirky modern style Bacon at breakfast (excellent quality)
Cons: That the restaurant was closed for dinner (Sunday AND Monday) and that was both nights of our stay! Be sure to check! Stained bedroom carpet. Swimming pool a bit too warm! Breakfast on day 2 was a fiasco - only one staff member, bread and croissants ran out, hot food was cold and bacon was not available as they had run out the previous day. To be fair, management waived payment when we checked out. Town a bit far to walk, but location near the lakeside is good.
5.8 Okay
Pros: It's near the lake; the hotel has a nice pool and spa; I forgot my toothbrush and the reception desk provided me with a small kit; the bed was extremely comfortable, large, clean, soft, crisp linen; quiet and well-located for the water centre and outdoor pool next door, beaches. 20 min walk into the centre ville but if you want the lake within skipping distance, the location is perfect. Friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: The in-room phone didn't work--I had to call reception on my mobile and I was put on hold for over 3 mins before I could open my mouth; the toilet cistern was running during the night, decided not to bother calling reception again and had to fiddle a bit to get it to stop; it was a junior suite for 180 EUR for one night, which was extremely overpriced for the quality on offer--door with holes in them from bashing (the bathroom and bedroom doors opened in on each other, which became annoying about 5 mins after moving in); cheap furniture with scratches; tiny kettle on a tray with instant coffee sachets; stuck on-the-wall soap rather than toiletries; rather unwelcoming literature in the room with lots of warnings about what not to do in the spa; though I was the only person on the reservation, when I walked in, the sitting room had been turned into a bedroom with the sofa bed made up, which I promptly had to unmake and shove back into a sofa. Disappointing, and not a place I wanted to spend more than one night.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The panoramic restaurant
5.4 Okay
Pros: Nice location
Cons: Ugly hotel. Ugly room. Not clean. Expensive for what they offer.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely situation. Great restaurant upstairs.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Bed was soft in the bedroom. Location was good, near the lake. The restaurant was on top with a splendid view. Breakfast ok. Parking available.
Cons: The couch in the living room was hard, not good for sleeping on it. The door of the bathroom was damaged.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: modern hotel. Comfortable rooms. I was expecting a more beautiful location. The parking of hotel is limited so need to park farther. Minimum service. Supêrnice swimming pool
Cons: Hotel area
Hotel Le Colibri - Aix-les-Bains - Building
13
8.0 Excellent (632 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Le Colibri, you'll be centrally located in Aix-les-Bains, within a 5-minute drive of Lake Bourget and Grand Cercle Casino.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location, the cheery decor and the helpfulness of the staff. Very friendly and they can speak English if you need them too. They gave very practical advice on the public parking as well
Cons: It is a budget hotel so you do get what you pay for, the mattress seemed a little to big for the bed frame and sagged in the middle. It would also be nice if there was some cold meats and cheese for the breakfast selection. Although the staff were very welcoming and were really helpful the room was very cheap. The hotel has changed hands so I am sure the management will improve the hotel as they go along.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very friendly and helped us whenever she could. The bed was very comfortable. The property is very close to the city center, a pedestrian street with plenty of shops and lots of activity. The casino is 100m away. The lake is a long walk away, but a bus departs from the train station, 4mins away, very regularly.
Cons: The water debit in the shower is not very powerful, but still gets the job done.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good Location
8.3 Excellent
Pros: - Small hotel situated in the center of Aix-Les Bains. Good position within walking distance of the casino and many restaurants. - Very good value for money
Cons: - Check-in only possible in certain times (however this was not a problem for us) - Public parking in front of the hotel was full during our stay. We had to park at the Casino parking for a rather high price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was near to town and easy stop whilst touring..
Cons: Rooms are a bit tired but fine for an overnight stop
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: Run down.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location was great!
Cons: I really shouldn’t stay at a 2 star hotel! My mistake
7.5 Good
Pros: Central location with lots of parking opposite the hotel. Short walk from all the restaurants and shops.
Cons: A little bit dated and basic but under new owners so improving all the time
6.7 Good
Pros: Quiet bedroom on the backyard and the balcony, clean room and bathroom
Cons: Mattress is too soft, the door of the room does not provide any isolation from the noise

Cons: Room not ventilated prior to arrival.
5.4 Okay
Pros: This hotel is NOT dog friendly, we booked here as they said it was dog friendly. Get there to be told you can only have one dog under 8kg..... very misleading if you have a average sized dog.
Cons: This hotel is NOT dog friendly, we booked here as they said it was dog friendly. Get there to be told you can only have one dog under 8kg..... very misleading if you have a average sized dog and table with 2. This info should be made clear. We could have needed up with no where to stay.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Spa is good. Location central. View not bad.
Cons: Old smelly rooms due to old carpet where you used to be allowed to smoke. Restaurant personell complete overwhelmed whith only half of the tables full. They don't speak english. Waited 20 minutes at the buffet in the morning for eggs and bacon refill.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The indoor pool for our two-year-old and the sauna for adults were great. The room had plenty of space and a small kitchen corner with a sink and fridge. And it was nice to have the toilet separated from the bathroom.
6.7 Good
Pros: The room was available and the price was reasonable. It has a pool, sauna and spa.
Cons: The hotel style was 1980’s and hasn’t been updated since then. Clean, but extremely dated. Sauna was cold. Swimming pool would have been nice but I didn’t want to pay €12 for mandatory speedos for a 5 minute swim. Bizarre French law.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room with comfortable double-bed, big balcony and nice view. Good pool and relaxation/spa area (sauna, relaxation room, gym).
Cons: ---
4.2 Okay
Cons: The property is so dated it’s untrue and not a fair representation on booking.com
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Wifi required multiple login,
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Food and bed comfort very good staff helpful
Cons: Difficulty visiting town and lake. Too much traffic and nowhere to park in town. Campanile lovely site but too far away on foot
7.5 Good
Pros: Just a stop over on the way back to Spain. The town and lake was very nice. Lovely situation besides a nice golf course. Menu was OK. Parking right outside the chalet was useful. Manager very helpful.
Cons: Beds were uncomfortable as were pillows. Room was just a box. There again it’s a low grade hotel meant for just a stop over.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice staff and attractive setting by the golf course. Convenient location on main route. Breakfast was good and well priced. Free parking
Cons: Room smelled of cigarette smoke. Small and looked on to car park and back of kitchen.
6.7 Good
Pros: The breakfast buffet and evening meals were good, though menu was a bit limited. Staff were very polite and friendly, and keen to sort out problems when we drew attention to them. One of the staff (Scottish) was very helpful in giving us directions to local areas of interest. The outdoor seating area was nice. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: We had a problem with locking our room and so had to change rooms. The toilet flush didn't work very well. Rooms were pretty basic. Cleaning of rooms takes all day (perhaps not enough staff employed?) We returned from visiting the lake at 3pm to find our room not yet cleaned- though this was done when we asked reception to organise it. The whole place looked a bit 'tired.'
7.5 Good
Pros: Well situated, clean and airy room.Good continental breakfast.
Cons: Unfortunately our stay coincided with 50 cyclists staying at the hotel. We arrived hoping to be able to have an evening meal around 7pm.We were told we could not be served till after 8.45pm as the cyclists were eating first.Whilst I understand at I level that the group of 50 were a big earner for the hotel, we were left having to leave the hotel to find somewhere else to eat! Not good customer care?
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location and good parking
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, on site buffet breakfast, Lunch and Evening meal were all to a good standard. Quiet location just out of town. 10 Euros in a taxi to station , bus service nearby, shops nearby (10 min walk)
7.5 Good
Pros: Parking right outside bedroom door.
Cons: Room may have been a little musty.... steak for dinner was very tough.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, well equipped room and bathroom. efficient air conditioning Great location right on the golf course and not far from the lake etc

Pros: Good atmosphere, calm, with good range of facilities. So, were satisfied about it. Special mention for the restaurant which serve delicate and delicious food.
Cons: Nothing particularité except the floor of the bathroom.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: No blinds or curtains so couldn't darken the room to sleep
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly personnel. Breakfast buffet very good. Room with big terrasse. Private garage for the car.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and well lit modern underground garage in a nearby building...but only for smaller cars.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Room very nicely furnished and all staff very friendly and competent
Cons: The shower wasn't top.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The position
Cons: I asked for some gluten free products for my breakfast and in the morning a waiter prepared me some slices of GF bread warmed up it on the grill where all guests warm up their bread! This means a total lack of knowledge of basic hospitality, the staff MUST be prepared for all reasonable requests of clients otherwise it is better to communicate that it is not possible to get a gluten-free breakfast. If I had not noticed, I would have a stomach ache of incredible ones with unpleasant consequences. It takes competence and honesty to admit that you are not able to handle some situations, that's all.
6.7 Good
Pros: The central position of the hotel makes accessing the town very easy. Quiet location near park. Short walk to station. Breakfast provided value for money and offered reasonable choice.
Cons: The lake is some distance away (30 min walk - 15 min by bus). Our room was rather dated and would benefit from a make-over + no air-conditioning. Security of room keys questionable (just inside entrance where one or two people just helped themselves!)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfort
Cons: Noisy street in the morning
8.8 Excellent
Pros: clean, helpfull staff, good shower, location, breakfast
Cons: air conditioner woukd be better for heating

This hotel has facilities measuring 4304 square feet (400 square meters), including conference space. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
6.3 Good
Pros: - wellness - nice situated
Cons: - staff unfriendly - too expensive (also breakfast) - heavy club sound until 1h30 a.m. - charge for small parking places
8.8 Excellent
Cons: A/C on the bedroom did not work
7.9 Good
Pros: Good room size and efficient air conditioning. Bed was comfortable. Tea/coffee making facilities available plus an empty minibar fridge to store our extra milk and water. Very helpful reception desk staff and restaurant staff. Superb evening meal in the hotel restaurant.
Cons: I’m probably being picky but the toilet roll was rough and thin - poor quality - actually had better in a Budget Ibis on our journey to Aix Les Bains. Only one sachet of coffee, enough for just one person, per day in our room but luckily we’d brought some with us so it didn’t matter. Cleaning staff were generally miserable and didn’t respond to a ‘bonjour’. There were only about 2 TV English speaking TV channels - could have done with some more. I’ve marked down the cleaning as the skirting boards were covered with a decent layer of dust although the rest of the room appeared very clean.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location and modern, clean feel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room with a nice outlook. Friendly check in staff
Cons: The room refreshments had not been replaced, no coffee. There was a left over room service tray outside our room when we arrived and it was still there in the evening. Noisy children were allowed to run up and down outside the room, but can't blame the hotel for that one!
6.3 Good
Pros: Food
Cons: A/C was broke in our room!
7.9 Good
Pros: Kids play room. Beds were very comfortable. Wellness area good. Friendly staff. Room was nice with coffee facilities. General public areas tidy and well organized. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Room making services seemed to be always on public display on the floors and, for the price of the rooms, quite slow and they having to use the same lifts as the guests! No service lifts? Coffee refills in room. Small details like light switches aligned and maybe nicer ventilation grill for example.
7.1 Good
Pros: The breakfast was pretty good, but I didn’t find any vegetables that I usually eat in the morning, like tomatoes, cucumber ... The bed was very comfortable and the quality of sleep was perfect. The location is in the center, in a beautiful park and near the restaurants, but at 2 km away from lake.
Cons: The pool is only inside, not spacious, very crowded ... for us, wasn't an relaxing place. The flowers on windows and balcony were dried from many days, looks like weeds on the field.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Outdoor terrace Location by the train station Breakfast staff: very friendly
Cons: Reception staff ; a bit arrogant and providing wrong information about breakfast time
7.5 Good
Pros: Central to the town and a new play room for children
Cons: The spa is an additional cost and if you want to take children in it’s €16 per child per day and they are only allowed in for 2 hours! Most expensive pool access I’ve seen!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Grounds for walking dogs. Excellent location just outside town. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Nothing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Arrival very late (around 12:00 PM) and a friendly person was still manning the reception. Service really appreciated. Bed extra comfortable. Superbe surrounding with large park and facilities to walk around and relax.
Cons: NO tea/coffee facilities in the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: God morgenmad Fin swimmingpool
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff was really friendly and helpful. They have a parking outside which is nice I was on the garden side, so I didn't have the road noise. The mattress and bed in general were really comfortable.
Cons: The room was quite old furnished. The bathroom was not really clean, some dirts on the ground. The rooms need new paint and decoration. The bathroom is really old with a shower curtain. The breakfast was really poor.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A very nice hotel in appealing parkland with a nice smallish pool, good functional rooms and brilliant chambre maids/cleaning. There are thoughtful touches too, like the coffee making facilities in the reception area. I enjoyed the area for accessing Le Revard and the Lac.
Cons: The awkward location, a few kms outside town is made better by a bus service that has free tickets behind reception. There are buses about 2 x an hour. There's no dinner onsite, so the neighbouring Mercure or a Geant Supermarket/ local pizza are the main options.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Room was good
Cons: No Milk available for a coffee when arriving back at the hotel about 10.30 and staff just said they didn’t have milk. Not helpful. Compared to Ibis styles Beaune a few days ago that was much better. Very helpful staff and cartons of milk. A small issue but surely every Ibis Styles could at least have uht milk cartons or fresh milk available if there are no facilities in the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: My room was quiet (showing to the back of the hotel). Breakfast was fine. Not a large selection but fresh bread and juice. Staff was friendly. Many parking space. Quick check in and check out. Supermarket nearby.
Cons: A bar would be nice (there is one in the hotel beside).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beds, breakfast and the big park the hotel is set in.
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great
Cons: The pool was closed and very loud construction. When I complained, they upgraded me to a room with a view of pool construction

Pros: Lovely rooms, nice location and very well cleaned daily.
Cons: Parking, breakfast and spa was not included, making it a bit expensive for what you got for your money. No minibar in the room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel location is perfect. In the city center, close to the central park and tourist office. The SPA is good. Excellent Hamam, the sauna is just 45C. Very good swimming pool. The underground parking option (13 Euro) is very useful. The room has air condition.
Cons: The breakfast was simple and a little bit expensive (13 Euro) relatively to the assortment. The triple room was small for 3 persons but very good for the couple.
7.1 Good
Pros: Rooms fresh, clean and functional. Breakfast quite basic but good. Garage. Friends front desk staff.
Cons: Common areas on the first floor rather tight and not as fresh as the rooms, but it looks like their currently remodelling.

4.2 Okay
Pros: The size of the bed,and the tv
Cons: The hotel is not a 4stars , maybe it was 20 years ago a 4 stars hotel, I have a half board (breakfast and dinner),the breakfast it’s ok,but dinner it was very bad, the last night they bring me the meat with human hair,I told them to bring me another, they just changed the plate and removed the hair, luckily for me ,before they took the plate,I put paper, and that’s how I knew what have they done. Half board does not include drinks to dinner, you have to pay them separately, every day I find in the room bugs ,smelly bugs when you kill them... The personal doesn’t speak English or other language, just French. The food it s not great, the water in the pool it cold,to get to the pool you have to pass to a corridor that it s very cold to that corridor, specially when you are Coming back to the room, the elevator it s very old ,an it s make noise and doesn’t work very good when you pres the button s, at the breakfast some of the food it’s not fresh,I think they are for days past... Anyway a very bad experience ,specially for New Year’s Eve!!! I WOULD NOT RETURN TO THIS (2 STARS HOTEL IN MY LIFE)!!!! And I don’t advise anyone to stay here more than one night!!!!
5.0 Okay
Pros: The hotel is located in the middle of a park. You have access to the Spa (which is nothing else than an indoor swimming pool + Jacuzzi), but also to the other hotel's faciltities (outdoor swimming pool). Bed was very comfy, and room was large, with a balcony.
Cons: This cannot be a 4 stars. Floor is old and deteriorated, entrance and rooms are smelly, furnitures are outdated, spa is a "joke" (it is just a jacuzzi). I will never come back again. Value for money is very low.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice large room . Comfortable bed. Hotel is situated in a big park. Good breakfast.
Cons: The demi- pension we booked over Christmas did not include the Christmas meal and we were not informed until that evening. The demi- pension mennu had a very limited choice with no plat du jour.
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff were very nice and they views from my room to the garden were absoluely stunning. Breakfast was good too.
Cons: The room dinn´t seem to be very well ventilated when I entered the room for the first time.
6.7 Good
Pros: Staff were very good (except for one of barman who was miserable). Good location and quiet. Large room with comfortable bed and a balcony. Refrigerator was a real bonus - very useful! Plentiful, free parking.
Cons: Outside appearance was awful. The hotel needed painting and a general refurbishment outside. The bathroom & toilet were very tired and the bathroom was on the small side with shower over bath. Shower head itself was poor with low pressure. Bathroom & toilet needed knocking together to create more space, and at the same time, updating with modern fittings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel with a real history. Kings, presidents and other famous people stayed her (f.i. Alfred Nobel). Yes in some places the hotel is somewhat outdated, but Mercure is working at it and in general most of the things are okay. The pool was nice and had a good temperature. Breakfast was very good.
Cons: In some places needs renovation, but over all okay.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room size :) Attending to our preference for vegan options was very kind. The gentleman during breakfast was very helpful also.
Cons: Dinner options, very limited and after ordering a chicken skillet it turned out not fresh...the chicken smelt rotten, so we had to settle for an omelette and fried potatoes.
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff excellent, restaurant very nice (incl menu / quality of food), spa good, fitness centre not so - pretty spartan!
Cons: Not really a fitness centre, just a couple of machines..
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of staff. The hotel barman is perfect. My doggy was very happy too. Situated within a green park what more are you asking for. I shall return one day.
Cons: The massage room.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Small bed rooms
