Excellent 10.0
Pros: Well places And pleasant
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Lovely clean and beautiful large suite.
Cons: I could not charge my iPhone with any USB port in my big and expensive suite ... not good I wait some gift or decorations for our anniversary and they promised by mail but they did nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Overall, the property is stunning, the service is spectacular, the food is great. The location is super central. The gym is pretty solid as well.
Cons: Our first room didn't have working AC. They moved us the second night, but overall, I found that to be non-negotiable. They didn't really remediate the situation aside from moving us the second night. The AC in the gym also wasn't really working. So the gym was....pleasantly warm (to say the least). I also found it to be a bit steep at $500+ a night for when we were staying there.....
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Situated in what seems to be a former royal palace, this hotel gives you a glimpse of history, overlooking the sea. Simply breathtaking sunsets
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Terrific hotel with wonderful pool, views, right on the beach, good food selection and quality, superb staff. A bit pricey for being right in stone town (and therefore not on the nicest beach), but a great place to stay for those who don't have time to get out to the further parts of the island
Good 7.0
Pros: Comfortable and clean hotel with friendly team there.
Cons: No beach. So needed to take an hour taxi to reach beaches. Was not clear in hotel advertising. They are by the ocean but a public beach with no beach facilities or swimmable.
Good 6.0
Pros: The location was great.
Cons: The food availability and prices were not good value for money. I ordered a fruit salad for room service and it literally came with 4 pieces of fruit. I asked for the charge to be taken off, but was told no, it's not possible. The front desk staff who said no, did not even try to run it by a manager. For a 5 star hotel I expected better customer service.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great breakfast on the roof - exceptional view and the food was delicious. Our room (Bourbon room) was beautiful and very comfortable. We were able to walk to excellent restaurants, attractions, shops, etc. with our young children. The staff were fantastic as well - super helpful and responsive.
Cons: Would recommend arriving before 11:00 or after 3:00PM to avoid the lunch rush at the cafe (but not a big deal if you do arrive between those times as you'll enjoy a welcome coffee and take in the scene). We stayed with our kids (1 and 3 year olds) and felt bad as they may have been a little loud at times - but not sure if they bothered anyone.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent Hotel. Friendly staff. Beautiful panoramic view on Stone town. Delicious tea!
Good 6.0
Pros: Nice big room. Clean.
Cons: Expensive for what it was. Air con not great. Shower poor.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The coffee culture, the old house in the historical center, the terrace to over look the city! This is an amazing place to stay in Zanzibar if you are not interested in those standard hotel!
Cons: If you have luggage, you need a little bit effort to arrive due to the old town is not allowed car to enter. But it worthy of it
Good 7.9
Pros: Charming decor, nice location in old town
Cons: Cafe closesat 6pm, limited amenities
Excellent 10.0
Pros: View from private rooftop for guests only Breakfast was amazing Helpful staff

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Really loved our stay with Kisiwa. Location was excellent, we walked all around Stone Town from the hotel, everything is on its doorstep. It is on a great little street for shops and restaurants too! Staff were very friendly and even kept our bags while we explored the city after returning from another hotel in the South-East of the Island later in the trip. This was above and beyond and we were very grateful! Breakfast was incredible. The variety of food along friendliness of the staff was exemplary. We thoroughly enjoyed this every morning. Rooms and facilities - Again another amazing feature of this hotel. The room was spacious with a deluxe bathroom including a bath! The bed was very comfortable and the cleanliness was impeccable. All in all a faultless stay! Highly recommended by us!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Beautiful inside, very helpful staff, clean, good location, big rooms and bed, rich breakfast
Cons: No hot water, the safe was broken, noise in the street below until midnight
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect location, amazing decoration, and style
Cons: The breakfast had limited choices
Good 7.0
Pros: Comfortable bed, rooms and friendly staff.
Cons: Feedback: Rooms are above each other in a 4/5 story building. People above us kept us awake scraping chairs and bags until midnight, and they were up again at 6am. Suggestion 1: Also there are quite a few aggressive "tour guides" who pounce on you when you walk up and down the street. They claim to be working for the hotel, and even come into the hotel pretending to be our friends. When we tell them to please leave, they get upset, swear at us, and call us rude. The hotel should have a strict policy NOT to allow these people in the door without explicit permission from guests. It was very unpleasant for my wife. Suggestion 2: Google maps is not very helpful for tourists when first finding the hotel. Guests also don't have WiFi until they reach the hotel. Please send guests a detailed map of the area with very clear instructions on how to get to the front door of the hotel. Wandering around lost with bags is not pleasant, especially with people everywhere "willing to help" but only if you pay them.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The hotel has a rustic feel to it ,very homely the staff are very friendly and willing to help. The rooms are very spacious and cool (air con &fan ). The hotel's proximity to landmarks e.g Fordhani market, house of wonders, the old fort the beach ,Stonetown.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast was good -buffet style for fruit and juices were good. Staff were excellent and accomodated all our requests.
Cons: Need baby chairs and extra sockets in some of the rooms. No in room dining menu (not clear).
Good 7.9
Pros: Very clean, comfy bed, big bathroom, free toiletries, good location, nice brakfast at the rooftop terace.
Cons: The staff could speak better English, room was dark and there was no balcony (we had to ask them to find a place where we can dry our wet clothes).

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Authentic arabic/ african design and location
Cons: Breakfast was quite bad. Little choice of poor quality
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Good location - close to ferry terminal and city center. Very good breakfast served in a restaurant overlooking the ocean. Kind service staff. The rooms have WiFi. Would like to stay there again.
Cons: Good pool, but could have been cleaner. Some might not like the singing lessons at the music school next door. It's pretty loud all day. There is a lot of waste on the beach.
Good 7.9
Pros: The building is beautiful, very well maintained and the price very affordable for a family of 5.
Cons: There is no shower in the bathroom which is v tricky with Zanzibar being so hot. Although breakfast was meant to be served from 7 they were still setting up and although we had paid for it did not manage breakfast as we had an early flight to catch.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The massive bath, which sadly we couldn't use because the plug didn't fit, but it was still exciting to have. The effective AC, the balcony overlooking the pool, the kettle and complimentary tea and coffee in the room, the beds were a great size. The decor of the hotel and the rooms was lovely.
Cons: Not being able to have a bath
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great location, room comfortable if a little dated, staff warm and friendly, pool area a little oasis would definitely recommend
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Beautiful property, building and furniture in original style. Great that it is just beyond the sea.
Cons: That it is right next to the School of Music and Mosque with early morning prayers (both loud!!)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazingly beautiful hotel, with perfect sea view from breakfast room and lovely pool area. Would like to stay there again.
Excellent 10.0

Pros: Breakfast on the rooftop was very nice! Need re-fill of the coffee, no issues!
Excellent 9.7
Pros: The room was comfortable and a good size for me as a solo traveler. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and I was able to book several excursions through the reception desk. I also liked having the cafe available for meals, and the breakfast buffet upstairs.
Cons: The location was fine, but I would have liked to be slightly closer to the center of Stone Town.
Good 7.5
Pros: The breakfast was really good and one morning we slept in and missed the breakfast time slot by an hour and they still kindly accommodate us with what we wanted to eat.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Location is good, close to everything - within walking distance. Staff is extra helpful and nice. Room is basic but comfy, air conditioning is a very nice addition too.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: We only stayed for one night before going to the airport early in the morning. The staff was really helpful with everything, they even packed us an early breakfast since we left early. The rooms are nicely furnished and clean. There's a nice restaurant downstairs too. Definitely can recommend this place.
Cons: Location, it's less than 10 min walk to the city center, but it's near the port and the area at night might be sketchy though we didn't experience any problems when we walked late at night.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Everything was really nice. Breakfast was really good. Only problem was very low water pressure in shower.
Cons: Water pressure in shower was really low.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great breakfast on rooftop!

Pros: Lovely rooms, pleasant staff, great location. Would thoroughly recommend.
Cons: Door hasp too high. Struggle to reach lock
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very cute place Very good location Good breakfast Quiet (when the room gives on the pool) Small garden and pool very convenient and more than nice staff But we recommend the people to do a benchmark of the price of all the activities to be done on the island before booking with the hotel (you can find good opportunities) All in all very great stay that we recommend this warmly (3 minutes from the ferry as well)
Cons: See previous comment about the price of certain activities (except blue safari —> good price actually)
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Wonderful decor Air Conditioning Terrace Check in process Breakfast in general
Cons: Expensive room Expensive restaurant Expensive travel offers (you could find in the citycentre for half of that money.) Breakfast (Its nice to have omelette, but to let the waitress understand what would you like is a bit challenge
Excellent 9.2
Pros: 1. History of the place 2. The staffs 3. Location next to the mosque 4. Coffee 5. The rustic feel of the historical place 6. The aromatic smell of exotic spices around the house
Cons: 1. Mosquitoes around the garden & pool area. While having breakfast mosquitoes were having you for their breakfast. So ask for repellent & put it on 2. If you are looking for a room with a view this may not be the place 3. It is near the waterfront but not right at the waterfront. You have to walk about 100m or slightly less towards the ferry terminal 4. No proper shower but to have to step into a large tub-like structure. May not be suitable for physically challenged person
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Everything about this hotel was excellent. It is well kept and neat with attention to detail. Excellent breakfast. The pool was great to coolnodf in after a hot day wandering the little streets of Stonetown.
Cons: The matrass was a bit comfortable.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: -Very friendly and helpful staff to assist us from checking in throughout our stay. -Breakfast comes with big several dishes we were happily fed. -lovely garden/yard for breakfast and for afternoon tea.
Cons: The bed is ard 150cm in width, a bit squeezy for couple.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: A beautilful place with very friendly staff. We had a family room on second floor, felt like a mini appartment. The small but beautiful pool helps a lot in the hot season. Excellent value for money. Bring usd/eur cash to avoid creditcard fees of 5%.
Good 7.5
Pros: Very charming and well maintained. Good location
Cons: Service could be more attentive. Breakfast could be better executed.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Rooms were large and bathroom was modern with all amenities. All staff were excellent and very helpful. The breakfast terrace is great and there is a wide range of food along with an egg station for fresh omelets/ fried eggs etc. In room dining has a great choice of local and international food choices and was quick to arrive. The food was excellent. I also liked the surprise "gift" when checking in at the hotel which is a nice touch for all Doubletree Hilton Hotel guests. Hotel is in a great location just across the road from Park Hyatt and also close by to the Souq and main tourist attractions. There is also a tourist office next door to the hotel which was useful for arranging tours around Zanzibar.
Cons: Sometimes the plates ran out at breakfast and were not replenished quickly.
Good 6.7
Pros: Great location, but hard to find and no direct access on car. If you have heavy bags make sure the driver waits till you find the porter from the hotel Good breakfast on a terrace
Cons: Window of our room opened literally at the opposite wall in less than half a meter. No view at all, no daylight. Staff at reception is strict and formal.
Good 7.5
Pros: The location, the rooftop, and very, very nice staff, all professional and ready to help. Thank you for the hospitality!
Cons: The bed was somewhat uncomfortable, the bathroom towels need replacement, and most of all the food was a disappointment- although the Chef is an amazing host and such a pleasure to chat with.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great location; friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable and beautiful hotel design in line with the history of Stone Town. We enjoy our stays at the Doubletree Hilton's.
Cons: I would have preferred a halaal (no bacon) menu as Zanzibar is mostly Muslim. The central Aircon in the hotel was a little too cold.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The room was exceptional. Fantastic bed. Amazing shower. The coldest air conditioning on the island. Great location. Also let us check in 5 hours early, which was greatly appreciated.
Cons: The food at the restaurant wasn't very good. We had lunch there once and our food came before our drinks. Even though there were 6 staff members standing around. Our waitress was very apologetic and never charged us for them.
Mediocre 3.8
Cons: Dirty room , towels had price tag on , no washed , bedding dirty . Internet service poor , no healthy breakfast etc
Okay 4.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: They gave me the room which is not in my booking.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: you receive what you pay. Excellent location in middle of Downtown, perfect location for sightseeing, port and the beach only 2 minutes by walk. We booked half board service, and the breakfast and dinner were amazing. You can choose everything what you want in the menu, different and tasty foods, extremely polite staff in the restaurant and in the reception. Perfect location for travelers.
Cons: nothing
Good 7.4
Pros: Big clean comfortable beds, spacious room, great wifi, fridge in the room, excellent tv reception with lots of channels
Cons: We didn't have hot water the first day. They fixed it the second, but the water pressure wasn't very good- I don't have thick hair and it took awhile to rinse the shampoo out... It's set back a ways from road so you need help with your bags an the food in the restaurant is limited and prices are high. Better breakfast at the Serena

Pros: Everything! ... the good service ... the views ... the peace and tranquility ... all the green surrounding the place, the beach chairs... all wonderful
Cons: I did not like the path of stones from the entrance to the road that leads to the rooms that if it is strolled ... it is difficult to walk and even more when one goes with bags and luggage. Very little amount of shampoo and liquid soap… also need hair conditioner.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The style of the hotel is superb. And you have the beach just next to your balcony :)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Located at the historical place, beautiful garden with a vast variety of plants. Delicious breakfast, caring stuff. Amazing rooms, easy access to the private beach
Cons: Wouldn't do mani-pedi there again. Overpriced and really bad quality. Nail polish came off next day((
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The beach and staff were fantastic. It was an awesome spot to watch the sun set. The prices for the food and drinks were a little higher than expected but still reasonable. Dinning facilities were very well laid out.
Cons: The tiles that were used in my bathroom made it look a little dated. Need a floor mat to avoid dragging sand back into the room or maybe house slippers that could be used inside for the same reason
Mediocre 3.0
Cons: Food was not really good, no mosquito net on the kids beds, the A/C was not functionning at our arival...
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Manager is very accommodant and staff so NICE... GO THERE
Excellent 9.7
Pros: First the staff was amazing and so was the location. I liked being close to stone town and the airport but still having a secluded beach.
Cons: The bathrooms could use an update but rest of the room was great
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. The room was beautiful with ocean view balcony. Central location of the place made us visit all areas of the island

Pros: This is such a beautiful venue with a unique local flair, super friendly & accommodating staff and great food as well. Rooms are very spacious, comfortable & clean, everything you could ask for. As for Danielle, the new hotel manager, she is such a sweetheart and has quite the life story. Don’t even think about it, you’ve found the perfect place!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very good boutique hotel with a spirit of Stone Town . I think it’s one of the best one ! for 1-2 nights staying . !Service is perfect , assistance with drivers ( we went for safari to Arusha) for both ways . I think it will be very interesting also for business trip travelers .
Cons: No disadvantages for 1 night staying . It’s my first 10 in booking.com just because it fully replied the purpose of our staying . Very unusual, fantastic . Good luck
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The hotel was a wonderful gem nestled amongst the streets of stone town. Walking distance from the ferry we arrived early and could drop our bags and get information on the city from the really helpful staff. The room was beautifully furnished. Breakfast was plentiful with a wonderful addition of coffee and tea in brought to our room in the morning. We had a fabulous stay.
Cons: Nothing! We had a great stay.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location, the authenticity, the service, the indoor pool, the hotel cat, the everything.
Cons: Nothing.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The staff, like everyone in Zanzibar were extremely friendly, helpfull and approachable
Cons: The room we stayed in smelled extremely musty and mouldy as if the wooden furniture is very old. We didn't ask to change rooms as we were only there for 2 nights and hardly spent any time in the hotel as we were touring. I did also note that other people also noticed the same smell in their rooms (based on previous reviews and chatting to other guests) and thought it better to just air the room out. Airing the room did help slightly but the smell never completely disappeared.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Right in the middle of Stone Town, and with charming architecture. Large rooms.

Pros: This is a very unique and beautiful hotel...They take care of a lot of little details. I believe it was a little pricey - but it was also during the holiday season. Some nickel and diing- too much for taxis and so forth - ut a kind and attentive staff.

Cons: Loud, bugs in cereal
Good 7.0
Pros: The location, and staff
Cons: The food and presentation of it wasnt very good.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great location. The chefs Bagwan and Bijal were very kind and made us what ever we wanted. They went the extra mile to make sure we had delicious food. The staff are very nice and friendly. Love the live band and rooftop patio. Pool was so refreshing. Fab place.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location was great, convenient to walk to around within Stone-town. The rooms were spacious and very clean. In general the service was commendable. The surrounding view from the terrace of the water, royal palm trees and Stone-city was magical, just like a seen from a movie. The hotel layout planned very well. In the 2 evenings of my stay, the live band on the terrace created a very nice ambiance. I highly recommend this Hotel.
Cons: A few safety tips and guidelines to tourists considering leaving the hotel after sunset would have been great. As at night it becomes a little risky for individual tourists to wander on their on at Stone-city.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Simple but friendly, good quality option in stone town.
Cons: Kayak's price was ~$30 less than booking at the hotel. The person at reception couldn't match the rate even though I was standing at the reception desk while booking.

Good 7.1
Pros: Very well located in the center of the city but away from the hustle and the area felt pretty save at night. Breakfast was ok. AC was good.
Cons: They put us in a room in the lobby and it was noisy at night
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were superb! Special mention to Maryam who served us food on several occasions. She was extremely friendly and attentive! The food in the restaurant was amazing, especially the lobster and chocolate fondant cake! The receptionists were very helpful as well, organizing transfers and tours and even a little takeaway breakfast for our early flight! Location is perfect right in the center of stone town! Everything is within walking distance! Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! Bonus points for the cute Christmas tree at reception
Cons: Tv wasn’t working but didn’t really bother us as we were busy exploring for the few days. Didn’t ask for help at reception either so maybe there was something we weren’t doing right! No big deal in any case!
Okay 5.0
Pros: Good location in a pleasant green square near the sea. Easy walking distance to most attractions in Stonetown. Coconut crab soup is amazing and housekeeping staff were excellent in attending to issues.
Cons: We booked 2x superior double rooms but were given one very poky double that was anything but superior and had a major hygiene issue. Thankfully the staff took this seriously and we were given the second superior double for nights 2-3. When asked upon paying the bill how they would rectify the substandard first night, we were told that we had been upgraded (we hadn't, we just got the room we had paid for) and had accepted a complimentary massage as compensation. Breakfast service is painfully slow and instant coffee provided is dreadful (how embarrassing, in Africa's third largest coffee-producing country), unless you opt to pay extra for real coffee. Experience here depends greatly on the room you get, as there are some spacious, well appointed rooms, and others that are not fit for travelling salesmen and/or have maintenance issues.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location is great and the staff is very friendly. The hotel is nicely decorated. I would not stay longer than 1night in Stone Town as there was not much to do.
Cons: The AC was not cold. However, as we were checking out, the front desk made a note about it.
Good 7.0
Pros: The best breakfast on Zanzibar! Very nice that they take the effort to give you a bit extra in the morning.
Cons: We didn't have a view outside the window ; just the roof of an other building. On the roof of our building was some kind of generator which made a hell of a noise in the middle of the night.
Mediocre 3.4
Pros: Nice building and location.
Cons: The room had a strong smell of mould. It was advertised as 33 m² but was not more than 11 m². There was barely room to get into the bed on either side of the single bed. The room was advertised as having a double bed. Since my night there, I have had a persistent chronic cough.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Location is just perfect. The neighborhood is quite and also 5 min walking distance to everywhere like Mercury’s house, night market, prison island boats, nice restaurants... Kind and helpful staff. It is clean enough and has AC in the room (not AC in the bathroom like any other hotels in Zanzibar) (please consider that you are in Zanzibar not in Japan or USA) Every country has its own dynamics. Breakfast is good, you can get fruits, omelette and sausage , bread basket and fresh fruit juices. AND the plastic bags are not allowed in this island so don’t forget to bring your own shopping bag to carry souvenirs or water bottles... Recommended !
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The room was spacious, very nice.
Cons: Restaurant can be improved.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Infrastructure partly a bit old (aircon, doors, etc.)
Cons: Very friendly & helpful staff; clean; great value
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Friendly staff, clean room, aircon and location in stone town. Definitely a place I recommend to stay on whilst in stone town. Close to the beach, good breakfast.

Mediocre 2.0
Pros: The seafood
Cons: The rooms are very old, toilets over flow, manager does not take clients seriously and even charged me for swiping, there are no ice cubes, the drinks are hot
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very nice place. Good food. Friendly and professional manager and staff.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The reception Meal Live singing
Cons: Cleanliness, cleaner clean very late Waitress was mean i cant remember her name Most of workers treat white people special
Good 7.0
Pros: The bartenders were very friendly (especially Lincoln), the pool was great, the room was very nice (although the shower didn't work). When the tide is out, you can walk around the beach area and explore, which is really nice. It's also a 5 minute walk from the main road (safe area..even at night), and a dala dala into Stone Town Center was only like 500 TZS, or a bit more for a boda.
Cons: Food was very so-so. The seafood was not very fresh compared to everywhere else I ate on the island. The menu was a bit pricy for the location as well. Paying bills at the end was not a great experience. The machine would not accept my MasterCard, despite it working in Town, at atms, in Jambiani and in Nungwi. This was very frustrating. They wanted me to spend money to go to town to an atm, when the problem was with their card reader.
Mediocre 2.9
Pros: Pool
Cons: I need to give my review & feedback . I have read reviews from May 2018 back. But it seems the management doesnt care. 1. The rooms are stuffy 2. Linen not maintained or changed 3. Beds are squeaky 4. Food is terrible, particularly buffet. It probably id traditional but doesnt appeal to various ethnic groups. A la carte is better but takes an hour to place an order. 5. Bar tender at the pool is very rude always 6. Hidden costs like infrastructure tax per person per night , only communicated on check out. 4% swipe charge... only communicated when you settle the bill 7. Plenty attitude from some staff, even if English is not their language but actions do speak louder than words. 8. The beach is dirty. Not cleaned up. Too much litter Am definetly not coming back again. Happy new year .
Good 7.0
Pros: Location is isolated transport could be expensive but peaceful and calm place to stay with family
Cons: I was expecting a live music at dinner as I stayed there back in 2007 we had nice live music on weekend. Secondly I would suggest to have air freshener in the room as rooms smell Like Norton insect killer spray.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The gardens, the pool, the sea breeze and the spaciousness of the infrastructure and rooms.
Cons: Poorly trained staff who take far too much time to deliver on customer service.

Excellent 9.2
Pros: The view. The friendly staff and the location. If booking this property insist on having room 129. This was by far the best room for an ocean view. Staff were amazing and the journey into town very cheap and inexpensive.
Cons: Menu very limited. Very often our choice was unavailable. We ate there for the first night and then ate in town every night after that. Where there was much more choice. There was a bar, but was a bit sad. Box wine, no spirits, no cocktails and Kilimanjaro the only beer available with a tv blaring out. But small price to pay for what is a really nice hotel with genuinely nice staff. We would go back.
Good 6.3
Pros: The rooms are basic, but very clean and comfortable, the airco worked very well. We stayed only one night as it was close to the airport. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a longer vacation, the food is okayish, there is no pool and the beach is okay.
Cons: The photos on the website are a lot prettier than real life, the hotel is a bit run down and could use a bit of a facelift, they are benefitting from the old structures put in place but if they don’t upgrade it soon it can turn into a shady place.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: from the day one communicating with them.it was awesome. i am ready to go back again. the staff on point their drivers bar- man waiters are good. the Ocean view was awesome. i wish they could secure a private beach.
Cons: breakfast menu to improve
Good 7.1
Pros: The location is stunning with beautiful sunsets.
Cons: Facilities are very dated. And in need of serious maintenance. The rooms are reasonable but the bathroom need some renovations.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location is conveniently close to Stone Town. The accommodation is reasonably clean and the staff very helpful.
Cons: I booked for a sea view room but the room I got did not provide for this view.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Location only
Cons: The room facilities were not as advertised. The bathroom ancient and not functioning taps. No safety deposit box in room. No cupboard and drawers fir clothes. Only a clothes rack with few cheap hangers. No coffee machine in room. Seaview obstructed by overgrown bushes. Breakfast was the poorest i ever expetienced in all my stays. Not worth and would not recoomend. Wanted to chsrge an extra 6%,for credit card use. Unfriendly reception staff poor facilities everything still recorded in a book no technology. The internet is very poor and useless. No interner in both rooms and reception refused to change our rooms.
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The cleaness of the place and the room
