We had an issue with the booking, somehow had 2 reservations but this was straightened out by the women at check in.
The outside and inside need fixed up. I'very always associated Days Inn with being someplace that is of very good quality. One door going into the 2nd building where we went in had the inside handle hanging. The outside of thev2nd building looks like a piece of drywall was put over what used to be outside doors. When we walked into the room we were staying in, it had a musty smell but not too strong. Neither of us slept well on the uncomfortable bed. When using the shower, about half the water comes out the tub faucet. Even though we didn'the use the lotion, the small bottle was already used. The TV was dated and the colors were off. The free Wi-Fi, in the room had either no signal or 1 bar but the neighboring hotel, we could pick up their Wi-Fi with full strength.
This place has bedbugs, should be fumigated.,
Bed was comfortable
Couldn't see the motel from the road so we drove past it.
I liked the easy access to east Wichita. It is near main roads.
We booked a non smoking room. I had to sign a paper verifying that I would not smoke in the room. When we arrived at our room, we only got as far as the door. Upon opening it, an overpowering smoke smell wafted out. They kindly gave us a new room and by this time we were so tired we just passed out. When we woke the next morning we found that the sheets we had slept on were soiled. It looks as if someone had made a mess while changing a diaper (it had that green/brown baby poo look) and it was just covered up with the comforter. They took off $10 when I told them out it at checkout, but I still couldn't wait to drive home and shower. The breakfast was less than appetizing. The cups were sealed together like bricks. When we finally busted a couple apart, I found mold in the bottom of the cup. Oh, and the pillows were old and lumpy. However, that was our least concern.
