Cons: turned up to check in 30 mins early and was turned away
Pros: Great Location and friendly staff! Very good breakfast.
Pros: The breakfast was great!
Pros: Front-desk staff needed to be called in separately but their service was superb, The breakfast was original and cute, many small portions of different breakfast delights and all very fresh and healthy. A fantastic bed and good night sleep,
Cons: The baby crib was not suitable for a one year old or younger baby (mattress was of poor quality and it bent onto the baby's face), and as we mentioned this upon leaving the staff promised to fix the issue,
Pros: Great location Great design Fantastic breakfast
Pros: Great bathroom, comfortable beds and quiet.
Cons: A little boring breakfast buffé, not alot of choices.

Pros: Very kind stuff, lovely room, perfect breakfast.I will come back!
Pros: Great location, with the church ruin attached, garden to sit in. Staff very friendly and helpful, great breakfast with plenty of choice (smoothies were especially good). Nice and quiet but close to everything.
Cons: The room was a little warm, but that was because of a problem with the heating, which was if not fixed at least improved once I pointed it out.
Pros: Good location, very kind staff, cozy and lovely room, perfect breakfast! They even prepared sandwiches for takeaway ‘cause we didn’t have time!
Cons: I don’t find anything negative in this hotel but if I have to say something it would be small room and bathroom (which is normal in Sweden I think). Anyway it was comfortable enough and who prefer big room can just upgrade the room
Pros: I loved the location, next to the ruined church and the botanical garden . I loved the garden for sitting in if an evening. The staff were incredibly friendly too. Oh, and I like the free coffee.
Pros: Loved this hotel. Very central to everything in the old town of Visby.

Pros: Amazingly friendly staff that welcomed us by first name! Kindness is something that makes traveling memorable. Location is perfect walking distance to the ferry and a few steps to the historic town center. The room was spotless and super comfortable. The room is small, but we only stayed one night so it felt cozy and not cramped.
Pros: The location and friendly staff.
Cons: A tad expensive- but we hadnt realised we'd booked in the very popular Medieval week!
Pros: Bed was very cozy; breakfast was great and a lot of choices; location is perfect
Cons: Maybe more vegetarian/vegan options for breakfast
Pros: Wonderful service.
Pros: Staff was superb.
Pros: Breakfast is good. Room/hotel is clean and cozy. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is highly recommended.
Pros: This hotel is located near the information center of Visby and 5 minuets walk from the ferry port. It is convenient to walk around the town. The staff is very friendly and the room is clean and cozy. The breakfast was fresh and I enjoyed it really. Thank you!

Featured amenities include express check-in, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Breakfast was freshly made with lots of cold choices. Good coffee & tea as well. On top of that I really appreciated being upgraded from a single to a twin-bedded room.
Cons: Even though the hotel was advised about my late arrival as well as a flight delay ahead of time they did not respond until after my regular ETA to submit the code for the gate. Other than that the bathroom floor looked quite dated and moldy.
Pros: Cosy hotel with a personal touch in central Visby. Rooms and facilities very nicely furnished. Great location to explore Visby
Pros: Great location. Great breakfast. Nice inner yard.
Cons: The room was rather small, but otherwise nice.
Cons: Need to water more the plants
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Each room is unique and we'll decorated. There is a lovely courtyard that allows lots of light to come into the rooms. The breakfast is incredible. Parking and bike rentals available.
Pros: The room was. very clean and comfortable. Location excellent and staff helpful
Cons: Could have done with a couple of extra hooks for clothes in shower room
Pros: Great little hotel - a gem Very nicely decorated Awesome location Great breakfast Very clean
With a stay at Hotell Slottsbacken, you'll be centrally located in Visby, within a 10-minute walk of Almedalen and Gotlands Art Museum. Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and an elevator. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Very well located inside the city walls, but still with accessible parking. A great place to start exploring Visby from. Front desk staff very helpful.
Cons: The take away breakfast we had on the day we got up early (2 rolls, 4 small biscuits, no fruit/drink) was a bit on the mean side given the opulence of the in-hotel breakfast (and in comparison to other take-away breakfasts we had from less glamorous establishments).
Pros: Quiet, clean, comfortable with helpful attentive staff.
Pros: I liked the location. Very close to the old town and close to the commercial and touristical streets.
Cons: The rooms lack of AC. So it is warm in during the summer.
Pros: Friendly, very comfortable.
Cons: We would have liked a kettle in the room.
Pros: Old building converted to hotel. Wonderful atmosphere. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: All main floors served by elevator but outside staircase to the entrance hard to negotiate with a heavy suitcase.
This hotel is located within the medieval city walls of Visby and offers free WiFi access and an on-site restaurant. Almedalen Park is 150 metres away. Guest rooms at Värdshuset Lindgården have a private entrance and views of the town or garden. Each room includes a flat-screen TV, desk and a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. The restaurant serves traditional Swedish dishes and has a large selection of wines. Outdoor serving in the garden is possible in nice weather. During summer, live music events are arranged. Lindgården is located on Strandgatan Street, which offers several cafés, bars and restaurants. Kallbadhuset Beach is a 2-minute walk away.
Pros: Bed is comfort and the linens in room are of good quality. Room size is reasonable and I love the bucket size amenities! Breakfast in the nearby Best Western hotel, which is just a one or two minute walk away, is good. The restaurant in the hotel offers very nice dinner! And they also have a restaurant in open area during summer time, which looks really nice.
Cons: No daily bottled-water offered in room. Breakfast in a nearby hotel would not be a nice choice in rainy days.
Pros: Very comfortable Beautiful views Clean
Pros: there was no breakfast at the hotel or staff, we needed to go to another hotel
Cons: there was no reception, we did not get the key because it was no staff there, so it took long time
Pros: It was really nice, room had great atmosphere, was very comfortable, and the location was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Pros: U nTV The dinner was delicious, the patio charming, and the breakfast waffles were the best ever! The staff was courteous and delightful as well!
Pros: It’s central
Cons: It’s not a hotel. It’s rooms attached to a restaurant. Under the stairs, only window at street level, people could see in.
Cons: Dirty towels left on the bed. Not washing the toalett.
A first class hotel with a service minded staff and environmental certification. The hotel is located in the middle of the town, near the sea inside the city wall of the World Heritage town of Visby. Beautiful medieval houses and alleys in Visby surround the hotel. The Best Western Strand Hotel is the old Visby Brewery which became a hotel in 1982, from a family owned hotel with 13 rooms to one of the largest hotels in Visby today with 124 rooms and suites. Ferry and airport are within easy reach. Please note: Management reserves the right to refuse to provide accommodation to persons less than 20 years of age if no parents are attending.
Pros: Location. Breakfast restaurant is nice.
Cons: The room is not cleaned (e.g. toilet and floor), and bathroom door cannot be closed properly. It does not meet 4 star hotel standard overall.
Pros: Staff was helpful, even though we arrived very late in the night (warning them before) and were always there for us with recommendations and advise for local activities.
Pros: Great location and beautiful building.
Cons: Small bed.
Pros: Excellent breakfast - so many different, delicious things I wish I could have fitted two breakfasts in (or stayed another night). The bed was just right for me, not too soft or too hard. I enjoy when you can have a cup of coffee or tea without paying extra - Strand delivers on that as well. The hotel is spread over several buildings and all rooms seem to be different.
Pros: More than adequate. Takeaway breakfast to suit an early ferry departure
Welcome the Best Western Solhem Hotel - the most price worthy hotel in Visby, located outside the famous 12th century city wall in the midst of a beautiful park known as 'Palissadparken', just one step away from the city center of Visby. The beautiful harbor, the medieval town and Visby's many pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance, but not in any way interfere with the sense of calm surrounding the hotel. The Best Western Solhem Hotel has 99 rooms and three conference halls, with beautiful surroundings and warm atmosphere. We offer high standards and great service at a low cost. We have a limited number of rooms where dogs and cats are allowed at an additional cost. Please contact the reception for availability and price.
Pros: Breakfast and location
Cons: Slow WiFi
Cons: They dont have insects net on the windows
Pros: We liked the atmosphere, the very respectful and friendly gentleman and the lady who helped us multiple times patiently with recommendations about restaurants and places to visit.
Cons: We were recommended to rent a car from Mickes biluthyrning, but the woman at this office was very rude. She never asked what kind of car we want she just gave us the key to a car which later we found it to be very old and uncomfortable. It was strange that she did not ask us what kind of car we want!!! We paid 450SEK for one day for the car ( which is a normal price apparently in Gotland) and the next day when we arrived only 2 hours late to leave the keys to this lady she was very rude and angry and she charged us with 200SEK extra for 2 hours of delay. By this experience I would not recommend you to rent from Mickes office, there are other car rentals around, maybe you get a better service with them! Haa det bra och tack!
Pros: A good location just outside the city walls.
When you stay at Hotell Visby Börs Sekel Sviter in Visby, you'll be near the airport, just steps from Gotlands Art Museum and 8 minutes by foot from DBW's Botanical Garden. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-out, and multilingual staff. Planning an event in Visby? This hotel has facilities measuring 2691 square feet (250 square meters), including a meeting room.
Pros: Nice, varied breakfast with extra strong and good coffee. A variety of fresh cheeses and charcuterie and lots of organic options.
Cons: Check-in instructions were sent by mail, as reception closed at 17. Personal check out was not possible either, as the receptionist were 'not on duty' that day. The lack of personnel is not just a matter of poor welcome, but also a security issue - no one greeted us at the breakfast or checked whether we were indeed guests of the hotel. Other security hazards included a window 5 meters above street level with no security lock, very dim lighting on the corridors, no closing of the main entrance during the day with no staffed reception. The room was clean, smaller and less classy than the pictures on the website suggested. It was furnished with eclectic and not housekeeping-friendly furniture; much of them were dusty and/or with minor flaws/spots. The shower installations were already damaged, despite of the hotel just opened recently. The dining room decoration mixed everything from baroque frescoes and disco-spheres on the ceiling with bucolic porcelain figurines and dark brown leather sofas - comfortable and clean, but giving a very dark and unsettling impression.
Pros: Beautiful rooms. Terrific location.
Pros: Breakfast old style furniture
Cons: Mattress too soft, similar to an hammock
Pros: We really enjoyed the decor and the staff arranged for our laundry to be done free of charge. Breakfast was delicious.
Pros: Decor, staff, breakfast.
Pros: The staff is friendly
Cons: The room is very small, barely enough for walking through. The bed is narrow too. Nobody came to clean the room on the first day. More importantly, the location is very far from what is shown on map. It is called an “annex” which is quite misleading based on the actual distance between the room and the original location on map. My friend booked a room for the same price but got a spacious room with queen bed and much better location.
Pros: It's an experience to stay in this Medieval themed Hotel. Close to center and easy access to Visbyinformation center and beach
Cons: Medieval Decor is slightly intimidating. Day light is low.
Pros: We stayed in an apartment room, which had two bedrooms. The rooms were very spacious and it was nice to have a kitchen. The location was perfect for our exploring. The breakfast was very good and served in a very pretty and comfortable gathering area. Additional seating for our sitting room was provided when we requested it. The beds were comfortable. The staff were typically very helpful.
Cons: There were no doors on the bedrooms. One bedroom was situated in the living room space, and there was no place for a door because it was a very wide opening. The other doors were all simply missing. We did request they be installed, and were assured they would be, but they were not. Very difficult for privacy with three adults. The bathroom was dimly lit and there was mold around the tub/shower area. The furniture was all pretty run-down except for the beds. It was hard to cool the rooms down. There is no elevator and the steps going to the rooms are winding.
With a stay at Hotell Breda Blick, you'll be centrally located in Visby, just a 3-minute walk from DBW's Botanical Garden and 7 minutes by foot from Gotlands Art Museum. Featured amenities include a business center and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Beautiful old house and a spacious room with tall ceiling and tasteful classic tapestry. Location was ideal with both the botancal garden and seaside promenade within a stone's throw. Breakfast was also good. There was a mess up with our keys upon the arrival, but the staff sorted it out really professionally and we were compensated adequately.
Cons: Old house = old floors & old pipes & poor sound isolation. If you're very sensitive sleeper it's better to look for something more modern, for us the squakyness was almost part of the charm.
Pros: The location was really nice and the house has real atmosphere.
Cons: I skipped breakfast, it was pretty standard nothing special. The coffee was awful, like always in Sweden. The bathroom was quite nice designed, but not practical. I stood in the dark taking a shower, because the light-sensor was facing the other side. They don't hover the rooms while you are staying. In one room you can't open the window.
Pros: The location was perfect and the design was charming and comfortable.
Pros: The hotel was really nice, very comfortable and we had a whole apartment for ourselves. The breakfast was excellent. Location is also really good, inside the city walls and close to many attractions.
Cons: Everything was fine, the only thing maybe could be that at certain hours the hotel felt empty of employees or people that could help, specially if you arrive and/or leave at night.
Pros: We had a dog with us so the location was perfect with a park right outside and also the beach. It was also close to town but not too close so it wasnt too noisy in the evening The breakfast was nice with good variation.
Cons: The coffe was not good, weak and tasted burnt. The bed was not comfy. The room was too small for teo people and a medium size dog. The staff weren't particularly friendly. No good mornings or hellos given..
Pros: Great breakfast, loved my balcony and the location was amazing!!
Pros: Great room with a nice view and excellent breakfast.
Surrounded by forest 4 km outside Visby, this hostel offers a guest kitchen and TV lounge, bicycle rentals and a barbecue grill. Visby Ice Rink is 50 metres away. WiFi is free. STF Visby/Rävhagen’s garden features picnic tables, while numerous nature trails are found around the property. Gustavsvik Nature Reserve is 6 km away.
Pros: Good room, Everything available, Clean, sound insulation ok, friendly stuff, 30 min walk from old town
Cons: only 1 toalette in building
Pros: Very convenient location for Visby and the airport. Room was clean and breakfast was nice.
Pros: The breakfast was fantastic! The room and bathrooms were very clean. The check-in process was easy. It was peaceful and quiet and quite beautiful in the forest!
Cons: It is challenging to get to without a car. The bus runs infrequently and then requires another 10-15 minute walk. It wasn't a problem with proper planning but important to know ahead of time.
Pros: Wonderful place to live. Wonderful breakfast, never imagined having kind of continental breakfast in a Hostel. Great staff. Very clean. It was way better than my expectations. Great value for money. Will definitely stay whenever In visit Visby. There is very nice kitchen as well with utensils so one could also cook.
Cons: A bit far from town (2.00 KM). We like walking so it was perfectly fine for us.
Pros: Lena, the host, was very helpful and did everything to help us! Also, breakfast was very yummy and with many options.
Pros: Nice breakfast and playground for the kids
Cons: Well managed, well maintained but not super clean when we were there
With a stay at Hotell Gute, you'll be centrally located in Visby, steps from Stora Torget and within a 5-minute walk of Gotlands Art Museum. Featured amenities include a computer station, luggage storage, and an elevator. Limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great staff. Basic hotel, has everything you need for a short stay - good breakfast, tea and coffee
Cons: The room was a bit too warm without the fan on. It would be good if there was a net behind the curtains (for privacy when you still want daylight in the room)
Pros: This hotel has great location, nice interior and good breakfasts. The room was clean, with good toileters. Also it was very warm and quiet in the room, even though it was pretty windy outside.
Pros: Everything else. This review is for the Hotel Breda Blick though, we were transferred from Hotel Gute prior to our arrival. Very happy overall and especially with the staff helpfulness.
Cons: No lift and we were in the roof space. The rooms were great but the stairs were a problem for my husband.
Pros: Upgraded to supreme room when we arrived without asking for it.
Pros: We were travelling with a 3 years old and a newborn baby and they extended our checkout until 14.00 since our boat was leaving very late on the last day!
Cons: The kitchen staff wa not so friendly.
Pros: Comfortable rooms, not to big, but everything you need is there. Very helpful and friendly staff. Easy accessible with late arrival. 15 minutes walk from the Ferry.
You stay at the best base from which to explore Visby. Right opposite the ferry terminal and within walking distance of the medieval town centre.
Pros: - just the location.
Cons: -Less cleanliness. Could have even better.
Pros: Breakfast was amazing!
Pros: Super good location if you come with boat. Nice breakfast and pool/jacuzzi area.
Cons: 20 min walk to get to the city. We found 3 spiders in one room. They ran out of towels in the pool area at 14:00...
Pros: Very comfortable. Our third time there. Great breakfast!
Cons: The round mirrors on the restaurant wall were really dirty. Shame!
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were new, close to the ferry, and easy walk into town.
Cons: Didn't realise they don't change towels or service the room at all Room was very small with two people, no air-conditioning so after three days needed a service.
Pros: 5-minute walk from ferry terminal, perfect for using ferry. Not old-town scenic, as you do see the water but it's over the ferry terminal, parking lots, etc. 5-10 minute walk to downtown
Cons: OK place, but it is a big national chain with big facilities (several buildings on this property, so not so homey)
Pros: Great food. smorgesbord was good but could use some variety day to day.
Cons: They put me on the upper floor (3 level) of a building with very steep and narrow stairs and no elevator. I am 73 years old and the stairs were a hazard to me trying to manage a large suitcase. They apparently had other rooms in buildings that had elevators but the staff did not offer to move me to accommodate the dangerous situation that carrying my luggage put me in.
This hostel is 30 minutes' walk from Visby town centre and Visby Harbour. It offers in-room TVs, a guest kitchen and bowling alley. WiFi and parking are free. Uncle Joe's bright, simple rooms have a TV and shared bathroom facilities. Pizza and nachos are served in the restaurant. The communal kitchen has cooking hobs and a microwave, while a laundry room is also available. Leisure options include a furnished patio, darts and billiards. Discounts to a neighbouring laser centre, bowling alley and children's play centre are offered to guests. Squash courts and jogging trails are found nearby.
Pros: Clean, small rooms. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff.
Cons: No regular bus service after 8 pm.to and from the center of the town. ( but a nice walk)
Pros: The place is super clean, the staff very nice !
Pros: Small but cozy room, nicely furnished and clean, even had a sink and a tv in it. Really liked it! The usable kitchen was also appreciated, as well as the general cleanliness of the place including the bathrooms!
Cons: The breakfeast buffet could be improved. Some fruit other than melon would be appreciated, and also something like marmelade or chocolate spread for the bread, since they only had ham and cheese.
Pros: Everything in good order and reasonable central location.
Pros: This is probably the best budget stay close to Visby + the ferry terminal (10 minutes by car) and supermarkets and whatever else you might need. Small, but functional rooms and clean shared showers/toilet. Free coffee capsules in the room were a nice surprise, parking conveniently right in front.
Cons: Noise from other guests, sound insulation isn´t the best.
With a stay at Clarion Hotel Wisby, you'll be centrally located in Visby, just a 3-minute walk from Gotlands Art Museum and 9 minutes by foot from DBW's Botanical Garden. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The staff was super helpful and accommodating. The location was superb. The hotel bar was nice.
Cons: The breakfast could have included speciality coffees. The bed was slightly too soft in my opinion.
Pros: Great structure and position
Cons: Terrible mattress
Pros: Lovely old building with nice public spaces.
Cons: Small room. Emotional pressure to not have your room cleaned. Photos suggest pool is included but in fact had to book and pay extra. Litter in the lift.
Pros: I liked: 1. How easy made the reception the check-in for us out of regular working time. 2. Organization, cleanliness and variety of things for breakfast. 3. Bathroom cleanliness
Cons: The bedroom's window could not be opened unless I had wanted other guests to see me. I mean when I was out of the bathroom of course.
Pros: Location is great
Cons: It is dark. Not clean. Not very updated and not really good value for money. We Stayed in four different hotels when visiting Gotland. All at the same price but all of them with more service minded staff, and much nicer and cleaner rooms and facilities.
Cons: Only an internal window that would not open in bedroom. Lights didn’t work. Unhelpful staff. Very poor value for money.
Pros: The bar and hotel setting was very nice.
Cons: Difficult to sleep, rooms to warm and AC was very poor.
Donners Hotell, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western, situated in the heart of world heritage city Visby offers 52 modern rooms with high standards and family suites, a short walk from the sea, Almedalen, restaurants, shopping and other activities. Everything here is close, for a few days stay on the island you can experience both the shopping, dining opportunities and the peaceful countryside of Gotland.
Pros: Staff pleasant. Nice city. Nice weather.
Cons: Room was beside the trash bins, where glass was emptied at all hours. Plus loud music from pub one night. Cramped, stuffy room, had to move armchair to be able to open bathroom door. Had to have curtains drawn so staff emptying trash couldnt stare in any more. Bed too soft. Bathroom had no space for my few toiletries as sink very small. Water splashed everywhere when washing face as only big enough to wash hands in. Tv control impossible to use or didn't work. Really steep staircase to room. Room was not in main hotel so had to go outside to get to breakfast. Door into building very awkward to get in and out with luggage. Would have been great if it were a hostel at hostel prices, but was pretty expensive.
Pros: Prime location in Visby, everything is in walking distance. Parking is a bit difficult, but in the low season you can park very close by on Tage Cervins Gata. Otherwise, there is a bigger parking in front of Gotland campus of the Uppsala university. There was always place there.
Cons: Silverfish, lots and lots of silverfish! I can handle 1 or 2... but when the lights go out, they are everywhere. The bed, the walls, the floor, the lamps. It was from a nightmare! There were dozens. The family room is in a building separate from the hotel. At first, the impression was great. It was a huge room with kitchen and washing machine. But by closer inspection the room is dusty and dirty. There is a table on in the room that somehow is covered in cotton and is filled with stains. There is no cleaning at all, and they don’t even come there to clean and to refresh towels. We asked, but they reply was: clean it yourself. It’s not stated in the room description, and this is misleading. The beds are bad. It’s just 2 loose beds with a matrasses and loose top matras on it. You are basically lying on the matrass itself which didnt feel hygienic. But the insects infested this building are the worst. We had to sleep with the lights on so they didn’t come out. It was horrid. The lady at the reception waved away our complaints, saying they are harmless and it is normal in Visby. Old buildings and such. We refused to spent another night in that building, After some pressure they gave us a deluxe room in the hotel itself, and guess what? No silverfish and daily cleaning! It was a LOT better than the family room. Large room, great beds, great matrasses. It’s like the family room is a failed B&B which they don’t care about. One word of advice, NEVER EVER make a reservation for the family room unless they rid it of insects. They way they treated us was unfit for a 4 star hotel, and I’m still very upset about it.
Cons: We did not get the room type we booked, and due to problems with their computers they could not change our room to the correct one. In addition, there was no internet available for the weekend we stayed there.
Pros: We were here for the medieval week, and Donners Hotell was a wonderful place to stay in Visby. The location was excellent, within the city wall and opposite to the tourist center. Visby was small but full of magic, living in the center means that you are close to everywhere! The room was spacious and cozy, and most surprisingly we had a well in our room! The breakfast was really nice. Imagine how perfect it was to explore Visby from here after a good breakfast and end up here to have a nice sleep! It felt like time travel: in the hotel we were in the modern world, but a few steps out, we fell into the medieval times! Visby was and will always be one of our favorites:)
Pros: The receptionist was very helpful
Cons: Everything thing was good.
Pros: location was great. rooms were clean and breakfast was good.
Cons: Internet was awful. Our room had a view of a neighbor's wall! bathroom amenities are too small and were not changed in the three days of our stay (though they were finished).
Pros: Your breakfast was outstanding, so was your staff!
Cons: Great customer service
Pros: The room was very small, bed was good and large.
Cons: Location is very good the old town.
Pros: Very central location close to everything but noisy at night until midnight. We had a family suite at the top floor attic. Not good for tall people. Nice sea view from window. Kitchen.
Cons: It felt like we were at Airbnb but not a hotel. Our suite wasn’t cleaned even once during 6 night stay. Dust bunnies everywhere on the floor. Smelly pillows and duvet. Attic ceilings for short people. Towels changed only once in 6 days. Garbage taken out once. Staff very sour, curt and not friendly. No fresh soap in the bathroom. Very expensive pretending to be 4 stars but just 3 stars. Would not come again.
When you stay at Novi Resort in Visby, you'll be near the beach, a 3-minute drive from DBW's Botanical Garden and 6 minutes from Gotlands Art Museum. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Breakfirst needs to be improved.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable and gave us back aches. There weren’t enough pillows or towels. The toilet paper was rough and horrible. The food quality was disappointing. Limited options for food allergies guests. We were disappointed that there weren’t more options for breakfast such as different eggs made to order and smoked salmon on the weekends and vegan options.
Pros: The location, within walking distance to the old town along the seafront The light filled room with the balcony The space and modernity The soundproofing When we avsked, they made us up a little take-away breakfast bag as we were checking out early
Cons: No surfaces to put things on in the standard room-the only place to put the kettle was a small, low and unsteady bedside stand No tea or coffee in the room- but we had our own- and when we asked for milk , we got it in a cracked glass which was difficult to pour from- this is an example of the general lack of interest and know-how we have experienced in encounters with Swedish hotel staff - in Stockholm, Gotland , Småland and western Götaland.
Pros: The bungalow is lovely and quite comfortable and spacious. Cleaning everyday is included as well in the price which is great.
Cons: Our bungalow was close to the beach club which can be very loud. Fortunately for us we were at the end of the season it was only opened one night during our stay but if you’re going on season then won’t be the most quite sleep.
Pros: Great facilities
Pros: The property was excellent and clean
Pros: I liked the Location
Cons: Breakfast could be better
Pros: The location was very good.
Pros: Location is good, only 15 minutes from the old town of Visby. We rented bikes by the hotel, that was nice. Breakfast was good.
Cons: The rooms were quit small for the price we paid; we had 2 one-person beds of only 80 cm. wide, so I felt like falling out every time I turned. That is really not what we expected of a hotel we paid so much money for... In addition, we (two girls) thought this hotel was more for young people, but instead this hotel appeared to be a real family-hotel. We were very annoyed by all the shouting children, running around on the floor every morning and during breakfast and on the pool-site.
Pros: Staying at the Tott Hotel was great although the staff were very very slow, we had moments where we were waiting at receiption for a long time.
Cons: Slow staff.
Pros: Bungalows are great with modern style. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven and dischwasher. Bathrooms with washing machine and dryer. Two terrasses (one overlooking the sea) with great seating and outside sofa. Swimming pool is not big but nice. Friendly and helpful staff (we had a few requests which were happily dealt with). These bungalows are ideal for families and for longer stays where you do want to make use of the equipment and cooking options. Great location withing walking distance of old town Visby and not far at all from the airport.
Cons: Food at the beach club and breakfast was OK but not great. Perhaps the kitchen is missing a micro wave oven.
Pros: It looks brand new and is made according to the principals of modern scandinavian design. Very stylish, very clean very ergonomical.
Cons: I ordered an early breakfast at the reseption, because my ferry was at 7 AM, but in the morning it turned out, that nothing was prepared.
