Cons: Good 3 star..far away to be 4 star...poor breakfast..vry simple fornuture..single room as preason...only location an the have service to Viesti which iş good.
Pros: Location was pefect and the breakfast just what we wanted
Cons: The shower tray had a slight leak
Pros: Great location, clean, close to places of interest, great pool, hotel bus to take you down to beach and back to hotel
Pros: Beautiful location, friendly staff. Small playground for children :)
Cons: According to booking.com there should also be a kid's club, but was no longer in September.
Pros: Nice hotel with big pool located on small hill with sea view. Shuttle service to beach and Vieste but more convenient to have own car.
Cons: As for 4* hotel breakfast could be a lit bit varied.
Pros: The location is excellent and the pool amazing (also great size, since very big). The rooms are basic, but extremely comfortable and the front ones have a wonderful view on the bay.
Cons: The very loud animation during the day (from 4.00 pm onwards) and particularly at night (til 12:00 -1 am).
Pros: The location
Cons: The closing time of the swimming-pool, the Forniture, the decoration of wall it felt I was in a retirement home.
Pros: Nice quiet hotel, with stunning view. Water in the pool was very clean, no odor of chlorine. Very convenient shuttle service between hotel and downtown. Extremely frendly stuff.
Cons: Shower cabin was abnormally small, I’m lean person, but I cannot imagine how 100+kg person will fit into. But this is their problem I guess.
Pros: The hotel is very close to the beaches, and within walking distance of the town center. It's up an a hilltop, so it might not be walkable by anyone. They do have "shuttle" busses for those who can't walk up the hill. The hotel was clean, the staff very welcoming and met all our requests.
Cons: Breakfast was dissapointing. No vegetables, mostly toast bread, complicated seating schema :) We missed breakfast one morning and the staff was nice enough to make us some sandwiches. The sandwich was much better than the normal breakfast. The pool is closed between 12:30 and 15:00. Surprising, given that you're going to a resort for full time relaxation. You are also obliged to wear a swimming cap in the pool. They do sell them on site and are reasonably cheap (2€). Afternoons at the swimming pool were not that relaxing. They have aquagym classes with loud and questionable music that makes the place feel like a club. Might be enjoyable for some people, it was not for us. As is typical of italian hotels, they have no "Do Not Disturb" signs that one could use, so late sleepers will get a wake-up call from the cleaning lady.
When you stay at Le Ginestre Family Wellness Hotel in Vieste, you'll be in a national park, just steps from Gargano National Park and Gargano Promontory. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Pros: - We had an upgrade from a standard room to a superior room - The hosts are very kind and helpful - The bartender and the waiters are very kind - The variety in the restaurant menu for dinner - The big TV we had in the room - The view on the valley from our terrace - The calm surrounding the area - Fair value for money - The very kind masseuse and her massages - The proximity from Vieste, approx 15mn by car
Cons: Few things need to be improved for a good 4* review : - Pillows are extremely not comfortable, even though the manager brought us only one softer pillow, we had to share over the nights - There are lost dogs in the parking area, no one is taking care of it. They should be taken care of, washed and fed - The room was not clean enough for a 4* - The soap reload are not verified. We stayed 4 days without soap - The pool is not cleaned, lots of bugs on the surface - The SPA pool is not warmed, and the towels are not free for an entry we pay 15€ each (first time I ever see this in a SPA)
Pros: Nice room with balcony; very nice breakfast buffet and good view from 4th floor roof top. Large pool. The hotel is away from town, so I definitely recommend a car. If you have no car, shuttle bus to the beach is perfect.
Cons: Can the receptionist be more unpleasant? Doubtful. But she gave it her all. She certainly made sure that we knew she did not want to be there and that she did not want us there. We booked this hotel specifically because of the fitness centre: the one lone treadmill did not work. The location is VERY isolated - if you do not have your own transport. We booked for three nights and left after just one.
Pros: When I booked the hotel, I did not know exactly what to expect. When we drove and enter the parking it was still uncertain. But when we arrived, we were greeted by the owners and they directly made us feel at home. It was just spectacular. Dinner was very good and breakfast was one of the best breakfast we had in Italy. Products from their garden and the region. Just perfect !
Cons: a bit far from the coast
Pros: Not much. The reception staff and the common place was clean and ok. Very cool rooftop bar. Nothing very fancy but the grappa was perfect and the bartender very polite.
Cons: Value for money ratio - very poor. The room was rather expensive comparing to hotels almost everywhere in Europe and.... smelly bathroom, no towels on the pool, the pool rather old with a few sun beds. Generally you expect much more with a 4* place for a relaxation by the pool.
Pros: Rooftop bar had gorgeous views at sunset and staff were very friendly.
Cons: It all looked outdated and prices were a little too high for what was offered. The spa is completely below ground and there were no staff there when we went to help us get around.
Pros: Nice place surrounded by nature but not too far from the center of Vieste or the Foresta Umbra (few minutes drive). Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful.
Cons: Spa is nothing special. Wouldn't recommend spending on it.
Pros: Th place is beautiful, in the mountains close to Vieste. We stayed in a suit and it was very comfortable with a spacious bedroom and a very large living room that has another queen bed. The dinning room was very nice overlooking the pool.
Cons: Dinner is served at 9.00pm only. After that time, you only have the bar with drinks and snacks.
A stay at Degli Aranci places you in the heart of Vieste, steps from Gargano National Park and Gargano Promontory. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A train station pick-up service is provided at no charge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Pool, beach
Cons: Bar didn’t open until 6pm
Pros: The shower was great. The breakfast was delicious. The location was close to the beavh, which we loved.
Pros: The bedroom and facilities
Cons: Allow the check out to be later than 10.00
Cons: The wi if arrangements are disastrous and the connection speeds very bad! To connect it was necessary to input both a username and a password every time!!!!!! Jacuzzi in the bath was complicated and difficult to operate!
Pros: Breakfast was good! Location was good..close to the beach:)
Cons: Wi-fi was extremely poor...Aranci needs to improve on their provider!!
Pros: It was very clean
Cons: Wi-Fi non existent
Pros: Good breakfast - would have liked to eat outside, but great food and coffee. Lovely pool - not open all day - but very nice. Lovely busy town - fun wandering around at night. Nearby beach nice, many others to explore in the area. Parking an issue - spaces like gold dust. I didn’t find one in hotel car park - did find one on street - 7Euros per day.
Pros: The breakfast and evening meals were excellent - great variety and good quality food and cooking.
Pros: Good location for a short stay, good sized room for those travelling with larger than your cabin baggage allowance.
When you stay at Pizzomunno Vieste Palace Hotel in Vieste, you'll be on the waterfront, just steps from Gargano National Park and Gargano Promontory. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Planning an event in Vieste? This hotel has facilities measuring 15064 square feet (1400 square meters), including conference space. A roundtrip airport shuttle and a train station pick-up service are provided for an additional charge.
Pros: The staff at the front was friendly and quick with check in, how ever there is no bell boy to help with the luggages. Hotel needs renovation. No bathrobes and slippers. Bed and towels are really very simple. It fits the most 4 stars... but not 5.
Cons: starting from the hotel rooms and facilities and then the breakfast. Only friendly and helpful staff saved the day
Pros: Excellent hotel! We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is large and modern with excellent air conditioning. The breakfast is one of the best for choice and quality we have experienced. Very friendly helpful staff also. Easy access to the beach direct from the hotel.
Cons: Cost of meals! €50 pp per meal is too expensive, particularly if you are going to stay for a week or more. It would have been nice to have had other cheaper options for the guests who are on a B&B package only. Very poor WIFI connection, sometimes does not work...
When you stay at Scialì Hotel in Vieste, you'll be by the sea, just steps from Gargano Promontory and 7 minutes by foot from Gargano National Park. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and an elevator.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. It is possible to make your own freshly squeesed juice there. The staff were very attentive. We asked for gluten-free breakfast the first morning and they did not forget to bring a small basket full of gluten-free food and a plate with freshly baked cake and biscuits for the rest of our stay. The apartment was clean and spacious. It was cleaned every day, towels and bed linen changed when needed. The beach is really close, just a five-minute walk. The staff maintain the beach clean. It was nice to have the same beach umbrellas and sun-beds during our two-week stay. The shuttle bus (van) can be used to get to the city centre in the evening.
Cons: It would be nice to have more privacy maybe by adding some barriers between the neighbouring patios. Some sounproofing between apartments would also be fine.
Pros: We stayed in a studio apartment in the annexe of this modern hotel which is about a 30 minute walk from the edge of the old town. The studio was small but had very good air conditioning and a nice outside terrace which provided some where comfortable to sit once the sun went down. The breakfast and hotel beach and restaurant about 500 metres away were excellent.
Cons: We had no internet for much of each day and had to go up to the hotel foyer to use it but that also failed at times. We were taken aback that the hotel shuttle bus only took guests into the town at night. During the day it took guests only to the nearby beach.
Pros: Good hotel well located in the center of the city.
Cons: Hotel really without character. You get what you see. Furthermore, breakfast is rather poor and service to provide you coffee at the table or and to fill the breakfast buffet
Pros: We liked the most the staff working there - very pleasant and helpful. Then free shuttle which take you from hotel to Vieste in the evening ( they also offer shuttle to the beach but we did not use as it was not that far). And Breakfast buffet is really worth mentioning- such a variety of sweet and savoury dishes.
Cons: Our room was not appealing at all. There was not a separate bathroom and the sink was in the back of the room. The shower cubicle was so small that both of us have a problem to close the door, what’s worst the water was coming out from the shower anyway as the door was not sealed properly. The bed was ok but there were no side tables so we did not have space to put our stuff. Luckily we did stay only one night, but I would not consider this hotel in the future.
Pros: Breakfast buffet and service excellent, reception/bar staff helpful, ample shaded free parking.
Cons: Shame the restaurants (hotel and beach) closed part way through our stay and we did not know this when booking.
Pros: It had a modern feel. Very comfortable rooms. Shame that the restaurant uses latex gloves. You should change to Nitrile as latex causes to many allergic reactions
Cons: No swimming pool and no evening restaurant. The use of latex gloves is not good
With a stay at Hotel Palme Gemelle in Vieste, you'll be just steps from Gargano National Park and Gargano Promontory. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very nice stay. Comforable rooms with large terraces, greenery arround, nice location, about 7-10 mins on foot to sandy and very very nice beach. Tasty breakfast, very nice staff and plenty of car paking places. Everything was very clean and well kept. We should have stayed for longer. Grazie.
Pros: good location in the countryside plenty of countryside and quiet. comfortable rooms and very good breakfast.
Pros: Great buffet breakfast. Quite location, excellent for families with pool and other facilities.
Pros: swimming pool is nice
Cons: the room is very small
Pros: Very quiet and spacious peaceful place.
Pros: Very clean and tidy
Pros: The rooms are quiet and clean.
Cons: The hotel is rather far from the nearest beach and it is very far from their patner beach which we paid in advance (it was offered by the hotel). It was very inconvenient every day to go through the heat on the road without sidewalks, cars rush by... The hotel was almost empty, so it was really boring, no any animation, no mini-disco for kids, the restaurant was closed too. Reception staff wasn't professional and helpful, they weren't even able call a taxi. So, in order not to completely spoil the long-awaited vacation, we moved to the camping on the shore, money for paid accommodation lost.
Pros: The staff was polite and heplful around the clock.
With a stay at Oasiclub Hotel in Vieste, you'll be just steps from Gargano Promontory and 12 minutes by foot from Gargano National Park. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The place was clean as expected.
Cons: It did not feel a 4 star hotel. It was ok but luck of a bit of luxury staff. The pool closed for lunch. Did not like that. The coffe is bad. I think they need to start to make some good espresso. No service at the pool. You had to go and get things yourself from the little bar. It was ok, but I was expecting it to be more luxurious.
Pros: It was clean and close to Vieste and the beach
Cons: The staff were not overly friendly and the beach is not included, it comes with an additional charge, which was not made clear. It is a busy family resort and the air conditioning in the rooms is not great
Pros: The property is located across the road to the beautiful sand beach with cafes and restaurants so you can spend all day by water without having to move . It has a shuttle service to take into town so you can explore the old town at your leisure.
Cons: No regrets
Pros: Everything. Great stuff.receptionists .waiters in breakfest, animators everything perfect
Cons: Lazy cleaners every day was missing something
Pros: Great reception staff. Shuttle to Centro. Good beds.
Cons: Pool closures. No extra ice for drinks. Should have a ice machine.
Pros: Beautiful grounds.
Cons: Room AC was not sufficient. Did not like the mandatory haircap requirement at the pool. I am bald so it was not necessary.

Torresilvana Residence Hotel offers both free parking and is surrounded by greenery and plenty of cycle paths. The nearest bus stop is just 100 metres away. Guests have discounts at 2 partner beach clubs, 1.5 and 3.4 km away. Free beaches are also available.
Cons: Breakfast: there were croissants, jam with toast, juice and coffee or tea; the second day was even poorer. They had no energy plug adaptor so I couldn't use my laptop
Pros: The view from the room was lovely save the heliport Air co was fine , Flat screen tv was good
Cons: Dirty , run down , no faculties. More like a truck stop than a holiday apartment . The beds has sheets with other people’s hair and blood stains . Room was dirty , shower screen had not been properly cleaned in a month . WiFi was very patchy and slow . Other guests had a dispute with the owner and called the police . Seems like the people who bought the property Never had enough money to renovate it properly and don’t care. They are just squeezing the asset for all they can get
Pros: very big and nice room. Clean and comfortable. Very good coffee. weak wi fi. Very nice and helpful owner
Pros: Amazing, kind and very helpful owner. All rooms are spacious and have a view of both the sea and an old tower. Breakfast was amazing, good croissants and better coffee
Pros: Very nice hotel surrounded by olive trees, close to one of the most beautiful beaches in Vieste. Very nice and helpful owner. Thank you for a lovely stay
Pros: The host (Uncle) Paolo was an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble. He can organise anything you need. Breakfast was good and rooms had everything for a comfortable sleep but the friendless is why we would def book again.
Cons: I didn't like that the room wasn't much clean when we arrived
Pros: The price but on the other hand that was why it was bad !
Cons: We left in the night because there were bedbugs biting us in all 3 beds. Worst night of the trip !

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The advantage of this hotel is that you have your place on the private beach with umbrella and two sun beds (it's included in your hotel price). Everything was nice. Gargano is a really beautiful place with an amazing sea coast. Also Vieste is very close by car (7 mins), and it is a beautiful town with a lot of good restaurants. Gargano coast in August was not overcrowded, comparing to Amalfi coast.
Pros: The property is a former hospital, so it was a bit odd, but everything was clean and the room was very spacious. The staff was very friendly. We were given a pass to the beach with two free lounge chairs and umbrellas at the local beach and the hotel also provided transportation to/from the beach several times a day. Even after check out, the customer is able to use the transportation and go to the beach. We didn't wake up in time for breakfast, so we can't give a review on this.
Cons: It's an odd feeling being in a hotel that was once a hospital. The room with the sea view is not very pleasant being that you have to first see the rooftops to the other hospital buildings.
Pros: The room was spacious and the price included transportation to the beach and sun lounger with umbrella.
Cons: The hotel was hard to locate with the gps.
Pros: Grate view of the sea from the window. Tasty breakfest.
Pros: - Fantastic value for that price (under 30 Euro per night). - Clean and spacious room and bathroom. - A balcony with a sea view. - There are only sweets for breakfast (croasaints), but fresh.
Pros: Very nice stuff. We booked only one night and even after check out we can use hotels beach facilities for free. Good breakfast.
When you stay at Hotel I Melograni in Vieste, you'll be by the sea, just steps from Gargano National Park and Gargano Promontory. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Planning an event in Vieste? This hotel has facilities measuring 3229 square feet (300 square meters), including a conference center. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good location, almost at the beach. Clean rooms equipped at a basic level but with view to the sea. Good restaurant at the beach. Kind staff. A lot of space for the dog's needs.
Cons: New and nice swimming pool but to use it up you had to have a swimming cap. All the guests trying to swim without the cap were immediately (kindly) thrown out. I could understant it in an olympic sport complex, but not in a hotel! At breakfasts we met served not washed up tomatoes and the Staff seemed to work as if they were forced to contact people. I think they have to learn a lot before I visit the hotel again.
Pros: It's a clean hotel with expectable standards, nice and rather spacious rooms and the sand is really fine (but brace yourselves for wind).
Cons: There was unexpected and unannounced extra-cost in form of a "Club-Card" which is advertised as including the sunchair on the beach, WiFi, etc. Problem is, except for the sunchair, all those services were supposed to be in our room-booking anyway, so it seems like this "Card" is simply your Sunchair-Fee.
Pros: Beach excellent, reserved sun beds a real plus Shuttle bus drivers excellent
Cons: Obligated to wear hats in pool, and a wrist band all the time
Pros: Professional and courteous Staff, quality of food, nice setting
A stay at Palace Hotel Vieste places you in the heart of Vieste, steps from Gargano National Park and Gargano Promontory. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The whole hotel looks a bit tired. It needs refurbishing to compite as a four star hotel
Pros: Location ok.....not much more.
Cons: Dreary lobby, dreary hallways, dreary breakfast area and stale food to eat! Should be a two star at best. Town practically all closed this time of year! Mistake to go there.
Pros: Nothing in particular. It looked kind of depressing
Cons: The hotel is rated 4 stars, I would give it 3 stars if I was very generous. The rooms are pretty spartan and dated. The breakfast was less than average, the second morning when we got there ( at 9 am) half of the plates were empty, the croissants were old, the eggs were dry, the ham was gone. They even charged 3 euro for each beach towel/day. Who does that at a hotel near or at the beach? ( I travel a lot, never encountered that) Check out time is from 7-10am....I find it very early. All in all definitely not a 4 stars hotel, would not want to stay there again
Pros: Great location, great breakfast, great staff.
Cons: Wi-Fi not working and not as close to beach as expected. There is a shuttle service which is helpful but doesn’t pass as frequently as I would have liked. Still a nice stay.
Pros: The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Spot on the beach included in the rate. Hotel parking available and convenient. Vieste a great little seaside town full of character.
Cons: Not much.
Pros: Very confortable beds, excellent location, kind staff
Pros: Nice family-run type hotel, excellent location in town for evening strolls in town centre. Lovely hotel but not necessarily 4*.
Cons: Staff were helpful but seemed disorganized; there was only one harried (but nice!) staff-member downstairs during breakfast to replenish the buffet despite many, many guests
When you stay at Forte Hotel in Vieste, you'll be near the beach, just steps from Gargano National Park and Gargano Promontory. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff.
Pros: My wife and I stayed at the Forte Hotel in Vieste for a week during a two-week holiday in Puglia, Italy. The hotel is located near the beach, with free umbrella and loungers plus free parking opposite the hotel. There was a supermarket about 100metres from the hotel. The reception staff were extremely helpful and quickly sorted out a few minor problems for us. Our room was clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and reasonably fast, although it dropped out for a day after a severe thunderstorm. The hotel has a very nice outdoor swimming pool, although it was a tad too cold for us. The breakfasts had a reasonably good selection and the service was friendly and helpful. However, we never could understand the seating arrangements. Although it was available, we did not eat there for dinner.
Cons: The décor in our room was a tad old-fashioned and the room lacked some of the things we had expected from a 4-star hotel, notably a kettle with coffee/tea making kit and robes for the swimming pool. Regrettably, there were no English-speaking channels on the TV.
Pros: the proximity to Vieste - a short walk. Private beach with excellent facilities. Safe in room at no charge. Overall friendliness of staff and cleanliness. Half board arrangement fine
Cons: no tea making facilities in room
Pros: My family and I will come back to this hotel 100%. This review is detailed but worth the read. Firstly, we ended up having extra guests coming so had to booked another room in Hotel Forte2 through booking.com. When we got to the hotel we explained to the lady on check in Lyla (sorry if I spelt it wrong) that we were checking everyone in then staying next door. She told us not too as she had empty rooms here and would transfer the reservation over. Lots was happening in the background with kids and chatter but Lyla had no problems and breezed the booking part. When we got to our room it was the best view with the beach. Rooms were very clean and comfotable. We went on down to thw beach where we were greeted and taken to our sun loungers that were included in hotel price. Another great thing I liked as im 2017 with a different hotel we had to pay extra for sun loungers and it ended up putting the cost of everything up. We were also given Wi-Fi to the beach. Afterwards we went back to the pool. The water was not cold. My boyfriend spoke to the lofe guard for a good hour and he was given us all the best places possible to eat at. We went out and ordered a cab through the hotel. There in under 2 mins. Breakfast time - the view is just amazing. So tranquil to watch the sea in the morning having caffe and quoisants. The morning staff took time to talk to us. My overall experience - AMAZING. Best customer service i have ever experienced. - (just so people understand o never write reviews like this. I barely write reviews in fact)
Cons: No bad comments
Pros: Friendly staff and good location. Pool was relaxing and always sun beds available.
Cons: WI fi poor. Noise at 7.30am onwards from scraping chairs in restaurant if you are on floor 3.
Pros: Balcony and view of the beach
Cons: Little food for vegetarians; more expensive to buy ala carte than to order 3 course meat meal.
Pros: Simple accommodation but with a great swimming pool area, accommodating staff and perfect location
Cons: Nothing really in particular
Pros: When we arrived we noticed that the balcony door would not lock. We also noticed that the air conditioner was not working properly as the fan was blowing too low and the room was warm. We spoke with reception desk and they did send service folks up; however they could not fix the door and they said the air conditioner was okay. We were fluffed off even though we spoke Italian. The beach chairs were pre-assigned . We noticed tons of chairs near the front near the sea where empty for majority of our stay.. When I asked to be moved they would not. I stood standing for 7 hours a day near the front near the sea as they would not allow me to sit anywhere else. I even mentioned that I felt ill sitting in the chairs they assigned us as it was too hot. They do not care about tourist outside of Italy.
Pros: The great breakfast for 5 euro was a real bargain. The design was a bit of a disappointment. However the maintenance was impeccable. If you come with car there will be no problem with parking. The centre is reached by a nice stroll along the sea.
Pros: We loved the quiet location across the parking lot from the sea. The beach here is the best you will find with warm, shallow waters on a very clean, sandy beach. The nice town of Vieste is about 15 minutes walking distance along the sea promenade. There are lots of good restaurants located there.
Cons: I didn't like the idea of having to pay 5euros for a bathing cap in order to use the swimming pool. This feels like a charge to use the pool facility which amounts to 10euros for a couple in addition to the room cost. Not many people travel with a bathing cap and it's the first time we have come across such a requirement. If you advertise that you have a swimming pool, I believe it should be free.
Pros: We visited some familiy members, spent a lot of time on the beach, did some sight seeing by car, visited some small villages in the neighbourhood like Pescisci, walking through Vieste, bought some souvenirs...
Cons: no possibility to eat outside, breakfast closed at 09:30
Cons: There was no fealing to the hotel
Pros: My stay was very nice
Cons: The room was a little small and the restaurant was not always open
With a stay at Althea Village Residence in Vieste, you'll be just steps from Gargano National Park and Gargano Promontory. Featured amenities include express check-in, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge during limited hours, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The host was very indeed welcoming and had very good info about the town and different restaurants. The coffee was very good and the pool area was clean and nice. With car it was very close to centre.
Cons: There was such a heat at this time and no air condition. It was impossible to be able to sleep in this heat without aircon. The kitchen was missing ventilation/kitchen fan while cooking so the room was full of the smell and heat from cooking. There was a lot of mosquitos so be able to prepare spray, and everything you can find against them. There was no mosquito net for the door so we could not have it pen either. Wi- fi is only available in open areas. The kitchen facilities was less than expected,we missed small spoons, big bread knifes etc. You need a car to be able to get around.
Pros: Very nice personnel, quiet and peaceful neighborhood, great views. We were very happy about our stay.
When you stay at Hotel Cristalda in Vieste, you'll be by the ocean, just steps from Gargano National Park and Gargano Promontory. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It was typical 3 star hotel in touristic place during high season. Room was clean and breakfast was fair. In general everything was more lees ok
Cons: In my opinion 200+ Euro price for 1 night is to expensive for such hotel and service. I would expect price maximum 100 EUR for it.
Cons: - no slippers provided - no way of having the AC running whilst not in the room - sheets weren't changed at all in 5 days - weird fridge which was emanating a lot of heat whilst cooling - english language used by the hotel staff was at a bare minimum - sunbeds are provided at a price but no seat number is allocated so you might end up somewhere far from the sea..
Pros: The room was perfect for a family. It was very clean. Close to pizzumono beach. Nice bathroom and could see the sea from the balcony in the distance. The staff were friendly. We got parking outside the main entrance and could see our vehicle from our balcony. Breakfast was adequate.
Cons: Personal preference but the bed was quite hard. Couldn't adjust the air conditioning, it was either on or off, which meant waking up too cold in the night! Thought the coffee at breakfast could have been better. One bottle of water in a fridge does not constitute a mini bar in my opinion.
Pros: Clean room, good breakfast, freandly staff on the reception (speak English), perfect location- close to the beach and not far from the old town (10 min. walk), parking without problems, exelent value for money
Pros: Nice location , nice hotel ( with secure parking ) around 400m. from own beach. ( extra 12 euros / day for 2 but worth it ) Friendly , helpful staff. Very pleasant dining room serving an excellent breakfast selection and tasty evening meals at a very reasonable price We actually stayed for 4 nights after managing to book an extra two by contacting hotel direct after an early departure from previous B&B Not too long walk into Vieste ( after reception gave us short - cut directions. Vieste was best part of our 2 weeks touring around most of Puglia . Excellent evening entertainment every night - 'Vieste in love '.
Cons: Very bad thunderstorms third day - not the hotels fault ! Nothing else.
Located 50 metres from Pizzomunno Beach, Hotel Lido Vieste offers en suite rooms with air conditioning, and free WiFi throughout. It is in the Gargano National Park, a 5-minute walk from Vieste's historical centre. Rooms have a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Staff can help guests organise excursions to the Isole Tremiti and can provide information on nearby restaurants and beaches.
Pros: Close to the center, beach and some bars and a fantastic bakery store.
Cons: Mattress not very comfortable.
Pros: It was incredibly near to the beach and the center of the city. We moved around during all the holiday without our car that we parked near to the hotel (parking in the street costs 7 euro per day). Staff was very really nice and helpful.
Cons: Our bathroom was quite little, with a tiny shower and the room had one window (no balcony). Our blanket weren't completely clean (a couple of hair on them)
Pros: Hotel is near city center (5-7 minutes) and near Pizzomuno and the beach (2-3 minutes). There are some stores/supermarkets on the main street. They had coffee and croissants for breakfast (at 1 euro each if I am not mistaken). Terrance is quite nice, you can have breakfast there - nice view of the street.
Cons: The room was very small for 3 persons and the shower cabin was extremely small. Also, no elevator.
Pros: The staff were great, helpful and always made us feel welcome. The location is excellent, close to beaches and a ahort walk to the old town.
Cons: Our shower needed a new head, water spraying everywhere. Pretty minor in the scheme of things.

Pros: Everything and more. This was heaven. We are traveling Italy for 1 month and this is the best ever. Can’t wait to come back. We felt like family the whole time. No matter what you needed JoAnna made sure it was just what you needed. We made a lot of special friends staying here. New friends from Venice and also from England. So much fun. Everything is so clean and just amazing views of the sea. I would hope everyone coming to Italy would come stay at this beautiful property. You don’t want to miss it. Thank you again for everything JoAnna and the Boss GREAT GREAT GREAT. Thank also Maria for everything including our laundry
Cons: Nothing it was perfect !!!!!!!!
Pros: The host Giovanna was so nice. She prepared the breakfast food herself which was delicious. It was such a nice change from all of the morning sweets we had been having prior to coming here. This was so relaxing, streets easy to drive on...wide for Italy. Not crowded and the most beautiful ALL sand beaches. Best part of our month long vacation.
Cons: nothing! Everything was great
Pros: Residence Maresol is nothing short of enchanting! A slice of heaven in Vieste. The views are stunning, our apartment was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities- beautiful, elegant terrace, spa area and landscaping add to the wonderful ambiance. We hope to come back!
Pros: The hosts were charming and super welcoming. Beautiful property. Plan to return soon
Cons: More specific information about local tours and activities and help with booking would be nice
Pros: Maresol is a great property with beautiful gardens, a tranquil location and amazing sea views. It is the perfect base to explore Vieste and beyond
Pros: Getting a map of the town with information at time of checkin.
Cons: The extremely soft bed. The taste of the tap water.
Pros: A beautiful setting just outside the city. Fabulous view of the sea and the town. We did day trips but Vieste was a good home base. Beautiful beaches, lots of restaurant choices. Quiet atmosphere. Hostess was very helpful re: local attractions.
Pros: The apartment we stated in was perfect for a couple. The balcony offers a tablet with chairs and a view on the sea. We were positively surprised that the apartment got cleared 2 times while we stayed there for a week. Towels included.
Cons: You need a car to move in the area.
Pros: Not applicable, didn't have breakfast, Welcoming hosts, comfortable accommodation. Lovely outside space. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Super location. Nothing to fault. Would return if in the area.
Cons: Nothing at all.
Pros: The Residence is beautiful, quiet, in the nature. The appartment was clean, and very beautifully decorated. There is a jaccuzi, but we didn’t use it, prefering going to the beach. They have an agreement with Lido Pelikano, and you only pay 10€ to park your car there, and enjoy deckchairs and parasol. There’s even a restaurant! They offer a boat tour (30€/pers) that is very nice, to discover the south coast of Vieste, with it caves and secluted beaches.
Cons: I thought we hadn’t the breakfast included at first, but on the first morning, the owner took us to the breakfast room and showed us the food, offering to eat on the patio. So we understood that it eventually was included. And she didn’t even warned us, it was totally dishonest of her. Because we continued to have breakfast during the rest of the stay! It doesn’t take that much energy to remind people that the breakfast isn’t included, and it’s not afterwards that you do it either ! As an improvement, they could write and display a note about the hours and the price of the breakfast in every room!
When you stay at Pugnochiuso Resort - Hotel del Faro in Vieste, you'll be in a national park, just steps from Gargano National Park and Gargano Promontory. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The breakfast was of average quality and perhaps below expected, however, the dinner was really rich and delicious. You may find the various types of traditional dishes, the various types of fish and meat, seafood, salads, fruits.... surely everyone will find something for themselves. Location is great, hotel is literally surrounded by forest, everything is tidy and clean. There are two beautiful sandy beaches, very close to the hotel. The resort does not allow the use of cars except for the hotel purposes, there is no noise and everything is adapted for complete rest and relaxation.
Pros: Excellent stuff, very friendly and helpful. stunning location and very good facilities.
Cons: Restaurant good but repetitive meals and on our last day the takeaway lunch was very cheap and leasy. Few pieces of bread and salami and cheese and old fruit we just throw away.
Pros: Unforgettable picturesque views from the balcony of the room to the Bay, beatiful landscape design of the hotel, pine forests on the slopes combined with the blue and green waters of the sea. Equipped two beaches with small pebbles with sea caves. Umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach are reserved for hotel rooms. Delicious simple, local cuisine in the restaurant.
Cons: The hotel is completely isolated from the outside world. To get to the nearest town of Vieste you need to take a taxi for 65 euros (15 minutes drive). Extremely expensive hotel transfers to the railway station in Foggia. Poor list of excursions from the hotel. We recommend to establish group hotel shuttle to Vieste at reasonable price.
Pros: Excelent location, delicious food, friendly staff & very good sport facilities.
Cons: The wind-surfing staff wasn’t available at our request.
When you stay at Portonuovo in Vieste, you'll be near the bay, just steps from Gargano Promontory and 3 minutes by foot from Gargano National Park. Featured amenities include express check-in, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a train station pick-up service.
Pros: The property was quiet, alway from the chaos of Vieste, and very safe and secure. My room was very clean and I liked that TV was available in multiple languages. Staff was very polite and respectful.
Cons: The internet connection was very poor. The bed was uncomfortably hard. The food was not very good, especially dinner, and the dining room closed early for Italian eating. Very few choices. The beach is too close to an island with birds, too many feathers on the shore. The worst part to me was the fact that in the morning when the cleaning crew arrived my hotel room door would be opened automatically while I was still sleeping in my bed, even with the "do not disturb" sign on the door. One day, I had to rise to close it three times. VERY annoying! This hotel has limited information on area activities, especially in English - it seems to cater to Germans.
Pros: Nice staff.
Cons: The hotel looks somewhat out of style...
Cons: The staff hired to amuse guests and their children ruined the natural beauty of the beach and comfort of the hotel with the super loud playing of the lowest forms of popular music.
A stay at Hotel Falcone places you in the heart of Vieste, steps from Gargano National Park and Gargano Promontory. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a computer station, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Small but clean , comfortable and quiet. The staff were delightful and very helpful.
Cons: The fact that it was mandatory to wear a swimming cap in the pool. Have traveled all over the world and this is a first!
Pros: I liked how the hotel is right between the town and beach, with a short walk to both great breakfast location on the roof top balcony
