The Union Club of British Columbia features a rooftop terrace and puts you within a 10-minute walk of British Columbia Parliament Building. After visiting the fitness center for a workout, you can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant or unwind with a drink at one of the 2 bars/lounges. There's also a steam room, and rooms offer plasma TVs and DVD players.
Pros: Location was in perfect walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Hotel had great character. The breakfast was delicious and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: The staff didn't provide much direction on hotel amenities.
Rooms are dated, but nice
Pros: Overall a nice old hotel, but I would not say that it is a luxury stay. Breakfast was very good and included with the cost of the room, so that was actually a treat Restaurant has a dress code, so keep that in mind before you pack.
