Hotel Ambassador Tre Rose

We enjoyed the size of the room and the comfort of the beds. The bathroom was sparkling clean (unlike the rooms) and provided good amenities. However, there was no counter space, nor a shelf to set the shampoo/soap on in the shower. Good balance of towels.

The larger room smelled strongly of incense. the sofa/table/chairs were so close together that you couldn't sit there if you wanted to. The smaller room smelled like mold. The décor and ambience of the suite appeared as though it had not been used in 30 years. Plugs were not near the bed (for cell phone/ipad charging). Fortunately, I had one very long cord, which BARELY reached to the foot of my bed for charging. We were buzzed into the lobby, no one there, then a young man came and escorted me to another hotel to check in. The next morning, I was required to check out at the desk of the other hotel, because they had not officially charged my card - even though the website stated that it would be charged upon checkin. Not true. Very unaccommodating to meet at the hotel where we were staying, check in at a different hotel, go back to the hotel where we were staying, and then return to the other hotel to check out. Additionally, the elevator only went to the floor below where our room was. We had to carry our bags up a winding staircase to our room. It was very awkward, and we couldn't believe there was no bellman. The young man that checked us in stated that someone would be there to help us. They never showed up.
