Pros: The location was great - close to all of the sights.
Cons: A/C broken on our entire floor, so windows had to be opened to cool the room. The only problem is that it was during the Fallas festival, with over a million people partying in the streets and lighting firecrackers all night long. The wi-fi didn't work most of the time.

Pros: Greeted by very friendly informative staff, the rooms are lovely, well appointed and clean. The hotel roof top bar is a real bonus, allowing great views over the park, and amazing sunsets. The food in the restaurant was good, we only ate in once, but service was impeccable.

Cons: When I got to my room, the smell was just unbearable. I prefer not to use word to describe it, but I thougth I could die. When I came back to the reception desk, the fellows there looked at each other and said: "I told you. It's reaching the fifth floor". It took me an hour to get another room. No restaurant, no room service, no rooftop terrace. I moved to another hotel in the morning.

Pros: The room was very clean. We had daily cleaning service. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very nice and they gave me a little gift for my birthday. In the room we had everything we needed and nothing to complain actually. The location of the hotel is very close to the Ciudad de las ciencias and aquarium. Bus station and metro station very close. Bars, restaurants and coffee shops in the neighbourhood. I recomand this place for a stay in Valencia.

Cons: During the night the noise from outside was a little bit annoying in the room but I am not sure if this was only in our room or not. We didn't ask at the reception for another room so we will never know if it was only 1 room with this problem or not. The location is not a very high traffic location so the noise was not that bad after all.

Cons: Room small for two adults and a child. Carpet disgustingly dirty. No tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. Got the room at a cheap rate so you get what you pay for. I have learned a valuable lesson.

Cons: We had a room with a balcony where were able to keep the door open all night, otherwise it would have been too warm, they do not operate the air conditioning until the summer despite temperatures of 24c.

Cons: When showering, unfortunately, the shower cabine could not prevent that water was on the floor of the bathroom. I think replacing the shower door strips will solve this problem. By the way our friends (other 3 rooms) did not have this problem, so this comment is not a general one. Arriving in the room there are two carton water bottles available. As a service I would have expected this on a daily basis.

Cons: Overall, this wasn't a 4 star experience. There was no hot water automatically running in the room - it only became hot after running the shower for several minutes. The room's phone cord had been cut out of the wall and left there - meaning both an unpleasant look and no phone in the room. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as they seemed understaffed - items would frequently run out and guests had to ask for them to be restocked, the offering was relatively limited, the plates and bowls etc were dirty each day and the used tables were cleared using a trolley (as a opposed to carrying things out individually) which meant a lot of loud clattering in the breakfast room which wasn't relaxing.

My room preferences were met and the staff was super nice, helpful and quick on check-in/check-out. Location is bit far from the city center, but given the nice Valencia weather you can walk there in just 40 mins (10mins by taxi, just 8-9€). 10/10, definitively coming here again if I travel to Valencia again.

Cons: The initial room offered was poor, as there was no shower curtain or screen, causing flooding and dampness when showering, and a slippery floor, which I slipped on and cut my hand. Pros: Walking distance to things I wanted to see.
Cons: Door. It was not like a single wood door that normal hotels have. It was a glassed double-door (like double French door), with a simple key (like a key of a closet), which means when you take the key out, you can see inside the room through the key hole. Glass part of the door was covered with a white blind, but through the gap the light from corridor enters in. Being a simple double-door which is not perfectly fitted, room is not insulated. You hear people. I felt I had to walk very quietly in case other people are sleeping, so I didn't feel relaxed, not only in the communal area but in my own room. Wall is not thick either, I heard snoring from the next room. External shutters on the window, seem useful for blocking the night light. However, it is noisy. You hear when your neighbours open/close, also with the wind it makes shuttering noise. Toilet, I used a shared bathroom. Every time, I found paper left in toilet (maybe I had bad luck with other guests, or the flushing system isn't efficient). Slightly awkward having have to pass the communal sofa area and the reception to go to shared bathroom. Maybe, single room with shared bathroom, isn't a good one, and other double rooms are nice, because of other good reviews. For the price I paid, I could have found a smaller single room with own bath or at least a room with more privacy.

Pros: The place was quirky and quite unique with bedrooms on the 7th floor and reception on the 2nd. My plane was diverted to Barcelona and I sent an email to let them know since no staff would be there at my arrival. Immediate detailed reply on how to get into my room etc. Written reply on the bed when I got there. Next day check-in extremely welcoming and efficient.
Cons: Sadly the bed was a bit lumpy and the weird heating was not enough to keep the room warm enough all the time. Shower not very adjustable (old plumbing). Breakfast in a cafe 400 metres away outside in the cold was not worth the extra money however.

Swimming pool is non functional and the lifts need a major overhaul.

Cons: The bathrooms could have been cleaner. Also the showers of the 4th floor were quite awful. Hot water came really slowly or not at all, the showers were old and splashing everywhere, some of the locks were broken. They would need just a bit renovation. Otherwise this hostel is a good value for money.

Cons: The main possibility for improvement were the showers. Towel and clothes could only be placed outside the shower cabin (if you wanted them to stay dry), so you had to open the shower cabin door - and potentially be seen by others - to get them. For the water, you have to press a button about every 10 seconds. I don't mind the button to save water, but 10 seconds is very short.

Cons: What kind of hotel has 5 Rooms broken into on the same day and refuses to call the police???
We have just left this hotel after being in the Police station until 2am reporting thefts, 5 different rooms were broken into yesterday. The police confirmed the hotel should have contacted them immediately and they would have come immediately to investigate.
Our room was entered 4 times after we left for the day by hotel staff and management, seems very strange?! The beds were made then all our stuff was ransacked thrown all over the beds. Luggage which had padlocks on them had tge zips ripped open, nothing was left untouched so they clearly spent a while in there.
Laptops, Ipads, cash and jewelry were taken from different groups of international travellers all conveniently checking out the next morning.
But reception and management were not helpful and refused to take any responsibility, they did not want to do anything, advised us we could report ourselves to police if we really wanted wth?!
There are no safes in the rooms and bags that were locked with padlocks had the zips ripped open and the thieves spent alot of time going through stuff.
DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT TO FEEL SAFE or have a hotel that will actually care about its patrons!
