The spa facilities are beautiful and service is wonderful. A truly world class spa. The location in Vail village was wonderful, walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops. We received complimentary wine for our anniversary.
The bed was rock hard (and I like a hard mattress), and the room was sparsely appointed. The hotel and service overall was good, but for $500 a night I expect exceptional. Nothing bad per say, I just don't know that the cost was proportional to the quality.
Room furnishings were a little dated and poor quality.
We did not like that we had to order ice and coffee from room service.
Room configuration and the European staff made it seem a little affected
The courteous, friendly staff. The excellent breakfast choices
I strongly recommend that the tub/shower should have grab bars. The safety of the guests should be of a highest priority, and in this day ad age, falls in a tub or shower are very prevalent.
