The staff was really nice especially the man who always works at night. It’s too bad we check out morning, we didn’t met him again.
It could have been better if the shower area has some rack of small place where I can my toiletries on. And if there’s a special place to hang the face towel. But those are very minor... but may actually help. Hehe
Staff on the front desk were so friendly and helpful, were able to give us lots of advice on places to go and called taxis for us on a couple of occasions. The room itself was beautiful, we stayed in the new part of the hotel and it was decorated to a high standard with a large bed, balcony and even a sofa. The hotel is a five minute walk from an OXXO supermarket and a further ten minute walk to the main strip of restaurants/bars/ADO station.
During our one week stay we weren’t able to have a ‘hot’ shower once, the water was cold each time. We also felt that the bathroom smelled of blocked drains. The pool was okay but could’ve done with cleaning a bit more as there were often lots of bugs and leaves floating about. The ‘restaurant’ on site has strange opening hours and quite poor service, they didn’t seem to want us to be there and were rushing us to finish (despite never being busy). We preferred the cafe Hunab Ku down the road as it is cheaper and much friendlier.
The reception staff were more than helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond with their help and gave us some of the best reccomendations that really made our trip! The location was perfect . Right in the heart of tulum town but not directly on the main road so it was nice and quiet at night time. Plenty of taxis and local bus shuttles to get you from a to b. The bus station is a 10 min walk if your arriving by bus which we did from Cancun. The grounds are beautiful with a cute cafe if you want to hang at the pool for the day. The pool stays open till 10 and has cool lights if u fancy an evening dip. Our room was so clean. It is cleaned daily . Great room and bath room and even better air con! Free wifi also. Such great value for money!
- nice garden and swimming pool - stunning furnitures inside the room - very comfortable bed - amazing bar inside - very helpful staff
- It's a bit far away from tulum center and most of the restaurants, bike rentals at night should be free of charge - room was getting too bright after sunrise - there was no TV in the room
Not as posh as the places at the beach (which are great for dinner) and not as bad as the hostels in downtown Tulum. Great pool, amazing rooms and friendly staff
