The carpet looked dirty. There were mosquitoes everywhere and a cockroach fell from the ceiling on to the bed in the middle of the night.
Until this trip, I was a devoted Omni customer. This property is false advertising - it is really run down, marginal on the cleanliness, there is no exterior lighting on the buildings, which are far from the main lobby, the buildings do not have visible room numbers, the in room dining fell far below other properties I’ve stayed at, there’s no apparent security. The staff was very friendly, tho, and willing to help.
Omni
The grounds were great and well kept. Staff was excellent and very accommodating. The room was clean and the patio was nice. Room service was great and the food was good. The pool area was good but not totally clean and kept up
The room needs more surfaces for the size. We asked for an extra chair for our son for the patio were told that there were none available. We found this strange because we could see others around with multiple chairs with the same room. We also think the room could use some updates. The tub was old and stained. The light it the bathroom needed some time to work. The cable would go in and out, and the beds definitely need to be replaced.
Old stuff
The facilities were obviously old and had not been up to date and repaired. There was no refrigerator and microwave. The TV was a fairly small tube type. The lavatory sinks were cracked. The room and surroundingsee needed cleaning, and the pavement was in desperate need of repair.
I cant' rate it as excellant but it was better tha
The room was spacious and well-equipped.
Getting to my room was a little difficult, considering 2 rolling pieces of luggage and a laptop bag. As was getting it to my car when I checked out. But I could have asked for help. The bedside light needed to be fixed and the minifridge shelves were damaged. Not a major gripe; but enough so that perfect was not applicable.
Loved my stay.
Excellent service. Friendly and helpful. I really like this property. Very good value and I love the spa too.
I was a bit far away from the main property which made it difficult to get to. The streets need to be repaired and had to watch my ankles. I decided to w as lk where the golf cart road which was much easier to walk on.
Staff was amazing. Very attentive and kind
I had to stay in a room far away from other people in our group but not really much hotel could do because they were full that weekend.
Great if you're only going for golf... or a family
Out of the way location, great landscaping, staff were great (minus one person at the desk who sadly had the most direct effect on my trip (room selection etc)), the property buildings etc. could be amazing if spruced up/maintained properly, great water pressure,
Room was as clean as it should be, VERY Noisy, no truth in advertising (or perhaps it was just terrible customer service from one person). Its like they took all the things they think people want in a resort vacation and focused on that- then ignored the basics i.e. my room had a wine chiller (the size of a mini fridge and useless for me on my trip), but no mini fridge- [standard for all hotels everywhere]. So I called about it and they brought a fridge up and left it on top of the food area (an ugly and lazy solution). The mini coffee pot made the whole room smell a little moldy... the tiles aren't properly grouted so some actually move out of place underfoot (I'm a tiny female!). They 'upgraded' me to a poolside room thats supposed to be more updated? it was loud and unpleasant- all I really wanted was some peace and quiet and maybe if i was lucky a glimpse of the mtns- fail on all accounts.
Very clean, well manicured facilities. The updated rooms were spacious, well designed, and very comfortable. More importantly, the staff friendly, the pool warm and the AC cold. I intend to stay here on my future visits to Tucson.
None.
The Staff, cleanliness and comfort
Spa needs updating and improvement on bathroom amenities
When we checked in I was expecting a regular room but instead was pleased to find it was more like a mini suite with a sitiing area and mini bar and a bathroom and vanity area outside of bathroom which was very helpful for two people getting ready at the same time. Very spacious for two people with a beautiful view of the golf course. The pool was very inviting and clean. The grounds were beautiful ! We golfed at the omni's two courses while we stayed. Enjoyed having a cocktail at Legends after a round of golf. Staff was always helpful and courteous. Thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Omni!
