Pros (+) Despite the efforts from the staff, you have to avoid this hotel at any cost.
Cons (-) Avoid this hotel until the room as renovated. Paint is missing. Dirty furnitures. Don't sit on the sofa or you have to clean your clothes immediately. This hotel sounded like a nice deal. How disappointing. Need a complete renovation and avoid this place until every room is renovated. Staff was nice but they cannot change the fact that you have a horrible experience, a disgrace for a 4 star hotel.

Pros (+) The location was good with a 10 min walk to centre. Door staff helpful and welcoming. Bar staff attentive and pleasant. Rooms are a decent size with good facilities although no bed side light or table on one side which wasn't good.
Cons (-) I had been in email contact with staff at reception before my trip to ask some questions. Their reply was quick and helpful. That said, I sent a request for flowers and a birthday cake to be put in both rooms as it was a significant birthday. I'm still waiting for a reply. After 2 days at the hotel I showed the email to a member of staff and asked they deal with it. We received a pre printed card ...
