It was very comfortable, beds were very nice, and bathrooms were very clean with good showers. It was also super quiet in the dorm which meant we slept really well.
The only thing I would say is that it might have been too quiet! Not much talking going on for a hostel. It was just too peaceful.
Good location, nice staff
A bit far from the train station
Clean place comfortable beds. Close to metro and in the heart of Asakusa. Silent area as the whole place shuts down at 10pm. Nice cozy seating on the outside at first floor. Nice lockers and provisions to lock your luggage using chains.
They have rules for the guests but not for their employees who perform cleaning. Food is not allowed to the capsules but employees bring in food while cleaning. Fresh linen is placed on the floor before applying, but the floor is not vacuumed before it. There was an incident where a lady couldn't check-in because her flight was delayed due to storm. She had informed and it was acknowledged, but no provisions made to let her check-in late at night. She had to call the police to help her but to no avail as no one was available on the contact number. Eventually she stayed elsewhere for that night. Next day she had to fight to get her money back. The kitchen has only cups, no glasses. I didn't cook so no idea on the utensils for cooking. The kitchen looked under stocked in terms of utensils. They have photos marketing how cool their dorm room is and depict people are interacting with each other, but there are instructions all over the place discouraging the same. The AC didn't work effectively. Since it's a capsule it takes time for the cooled air to reach every corner.
I am moslem, so I really like it when I arrived, there is a prayer room there. Really friendly! Good location, The bathroom really clean, the rooftop is absolutly good! Exceeded my expectation for cheap price. Really recommended!
Basic and comfortable . Good for the price
