Convenient to visit local area
Welcome by reception very good.Fresh cooked breakfast. Position great for ironbridge and area. All staff friendly.
Smell of paint. Not disable friendly-too many steps to negociate. Choice on evening menu not great and needed better explanation.
Good breakfast and dinner in restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Proximity to Ironbridge museums and facilities.
Room had no outside windows although there was light from the passageway. Shower was difficult to control.
Excellent and interesting food
Not keen on 4-posters! steep stairs within room to bathroom not good to use.
The staff where very helpful and friendly, nothing was to much trouble
Location & decor
Staff at breakfast were forgetful and slow at rememebering who had requested what
Receptionists customer service
got a 4 poster bed but did not request one dont really like them
Atractive setting (gardens down to river) and welcoming staff. Decor and ambience attractive. Restaurant good if not outstanding.
Our room (16) had only thin partition separating it from 15 and consequently (there was continuous talk and laughter next door throughout the evening and again at around midnight) we had less peace than expected at this price and standard.
Ah.Best Western Valley Hotel. A stunning retreat located in the breathtakingly beautiful World Heritage site of Ironbridge, just four miles from Telford. Words may not do the AA 3 star Georgian House justice, but when we tell you that the hotel overlooks the River Severn, is bordered by beautiful parkland, has 44 individual ensuite bedrooms, and full conference and banqueting facilities and lies within easy reach of museums and attractions that showcase this world famous area and its industrial heritage, the scene should be well and truly set! The 2 AA rosette awarded Chez Maw Restaurant offers a full á la carte menu with a selection of modern European cuisine, and offers views of the stunning valley (as does the adjoining bar area) to provide a unique and relaxing experience for all guests. Excellent service, award wining food in a fantastic location, make this hotel almost indescribable! Enjoy your stay.
