The hotel position was great, right in the center of Tallinn. Breakfast was okay.
I didn't expect a room like that. I booked a single room but in the pictures there is NOT a single picture of that room, you have to click on the room's name to see it, which is a bit off to me; anyway, those pictures don't correspond 100% to reality, since it looks much nicer. It was terribly narrow, even for one single person. It was simply claustrophobic. The bathroom is even worse, there is barely room to brush your teeth and don't talk about the shower: you have to shower with the wc. The corridors are terribly narrow too, they have little stairs and I had these heavy and big luggages: not comfortable. Also, nobody there to help you. Outside my window, there was a big light and I had no curtains. I had to sleep with a mask. You might survive for a night, but not for more; there is simply no space to live like a human being.
very small double room, no lounge zone
Excellent location in old town tallinn, with lots of great restaurants, bars, and sight-seeing nearby. Pretty nice accommodations inside the room, with new paint, a hot shower, minibar with fridge space for a few things of your own, etc. Staff is super helpful, and was great to call a cab for me, print boarding passes, etc.
For our room, we swiped our cards and entered at ground level but the actual room was up some private stairs on the next level, meaning we had no choice but to carry all our luggage up a pretty narrow and steep flight of stairs; no elevator. We had a queen bed, and is the case in many low-cost european hotels, this is really two twin beds stuck together with a bridging pad. Not a huge issue, but it is not as comfortable as the real deal. Worse was the fact that the comforter was also two very small comforters rather than a single large blanket, which made the blanket wars particularly fierce. The rooms are also pretty cold. We froze our butts off the first night with the heater on max before discovering a space heater in the wardrobe, which we subsequently ran on max to keep it 72ish in the room. Probably our biggest complaint was the breakfast. It is much lower quality food than you will find at comparably priced hotels elsewhere, i.e. the cold cuts won't include any smoked salmon or fancier cheeses, and the meat is like budget processed deli ham versus salami and quality cold cuts. Croissants and similar items are available but are lower quality than in the other hotels we stayed in. And worst of all, the amount of seating in the breakfast room is totally inadequate. They had about 7 tables, and there were frequently 20+ people eating, meaning that we all had to share tables with strangers and were constantly bumping into one another when we got up for coffee or whatever. This is a fine hotel, but we won't stay here again.
The breakfast was nice and it s a quite hotel
The room was small
