Value for money considering the location, close to everything. Comfortable and cosy. I was fortunate to have a quiet room. Reminded me of an old guest house.
Could have been cleaner. I would have been happy to pay a bit more to have hot food included in breakfast.
the location was convenient.
I thought that the room was overpriced, I would estimate it worth $100 per night, was small, and TV was old and small and had bad reception. Parking was inconvenient (was metered and subject to parking restrictions, which I don't think was mentioned on the website). Was awoken constantly during the early morning by people from other rooms and people in transit/having breakfast. However room was clean.
The location for public transport was great
however the room was humid and smelly and the window was right where the laundry bags were dumped so it was noisy and way too bright in the morning.
price and location
facilites such as the showe door not too good.
Close to the city and bus stops
Wrong invoice was issued not matching the original issued online, receptionist was unprofessional, no hairdryer in the room, very noisy room called "deluxe " had door under the stairs with constant traffic of people; windows on one side opened directly into dining room , so we could not open them as well as the others because the neighbours had a dog constantly barking at night time
I liked that the room was very quiet. No traffic noise, no neighbors blaring TV through the wall, no buzzing old air conditioner. It was just a place for me to sleep and I did that very well.
Proximity to city
Breakfast was a disaster, when I went to eat there was no staff, no juice, no bread, no fruit, no yoghurt, no coffee and the receptionist (who also sorted out b/fast food/drinks) kept moaning that she was on her own.
The breakfast was excellent value for money, but the rooms were overpriced maybe because it was the New Year holiday. But the staff on reception were excellent. Very friendly and courteous. Maybe they just need to change the room-maids.
The bedlinen was not changed from the previous occupants as there were long hairs on my pillow etc and my hair is very short. Also my bed was not made up while I was there or my bedlinen changed.[3 days]
i book the hotel for the new years week, the price was svery reasonable so for the value of money was good.
i didn t not like actually it is a big big problem of this hotel, my room had a queen bed and the room was called superior, but the bed was made of 2 single bed attached, both beds with weels, so they were constanly mooving!!!!!!!!!
Front room nice view, back room was a box. Two rooms booked.
Had to go outside from reception to enter room region. Would not be good in the wet. It may be of interest to your staff to check the rubbish I left in the room for in a folded envelope, I left the payment of $110 for one of the rooms. Yours if you find it, I have counted it as lost. Thanks for the stay. It served my needs, albeit without panache'.
relatively cheap for Sydney and a reasonable location
No onsite parking. Old hotel, very tired.
