10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms, great location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were brilliant and getting the gondola park pass was amazing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place. Great amenities. Lots to do around. Polite staff. Picture perfect setting. Wished had spent more time at the property. Will love to come back again.
Cons: Cant think of something like that.
7.1 Good
Pros: Pick up and drop off service. Location Friendly staff
Cons: Little pricy ... and breakfast can be more exotic !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionally clean place. Everywhere was immaculate. Staff were very accommodating, the room was fabulous...the view spectacular. Overall wonderful place to stay and very quiet. Food decent price for Switzerland.
Cons: No tea or coffee making facilities in the room but a kettle could have been ordered from reception. A large bottle of water and some chocolates were in the room upon arrival though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay here for 1 night. We booked a family room and had a panoramic view of the mountains and the lake. Wonderful way to wake up in the morning! The room itself was a very good size and the beds were comfortable. The hotel feels very high end and the equivalent of a 4 or 5 star elsewhere (reflecting St Moritz clientele I suspect) The breakfast at the restaurant was very varied and of a high standard. We also had dinner here and the food was excellent. We were able to use the hotels free shuttle service to travel back and forth to the train station. This was very helpful. The hotel has a playground for children which my 8 and 4 year old loved! I was able to watch them whilst drinking coffee and reading on the terrace. The setting of the hotel is stunning. You will not tire of looking out to the mountains!
Cons: It’s too strong to say I didn’t like this but just something for others to bear in mind - the spa facilities are only available from the afternoon and children can only access them for limited hours. We arrived at 7:30pm and left the next day at 1pm so didn’t get to use these. Not a big deal for us especially as the mountain scenery is very calming and relaxing too!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything was lovely. Great having ski school and slopes right on your doorstep. Shirt drive to town or a walk if your up for it.
Cons: The room temperature was too hot to sleep comfortably, even after staff came and turned the heating off ....slept in -13 degrees with the windows open to get some cool air.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms, bathrooms, location, and spaciousness.
Cons: The coffee in the breakfast room was terrible and the staff wasn’t particularly helpful about it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. The staff was wonderful. Friendly and helpful, they are anytime there for you. I would definitely come back and would highly recommend it to anyone.
Cons: I think coffee it could taste better. I liked the old fashioned architecture, but more lights would have looked better, specially in December.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The best place for the winter holidays.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very cozy, old fashioned. Feeling like in 20-50ies of the last century. Very good service and very clean. Good restaurants and bars.
Cons: Very expensive
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great warmth by the staff, attention to confidentiality, premises were clean and rooms spacious
Cons: If one wants to go ‘walking’ to the city centre, then I must say it is quite a walk (Suvretta is a wonderful area where all the most beautiful houses are and slopes can very easily be reached, but you have to bear in mind that St Moritz coffees and restaurants are not exactly next door)
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Name me a place where the general managers welcome you with all their heart during your whole stay! This is a beautiful sophisticated resort, far away from the posh crowd of the St Moritz, yet in the middle of the tranquility and peace. I would like to thank to dear Mr and Mrs Egli for their unique hospitality, kindness and care during our stay and also to dear Riccardo from the concierge for his perfect assistance for all our needs. If you want to experience a wonderful St Moritz family holiday, I would strongly recommend Suvretta House, an amazingly beautiful mansion nestled in the middle of a white heaven where you are spoilt every day.

3
9.7 Excellent (71 reviews)
$2,403+

The luxurious five-star hotel beguiles all of the senses with an extravagantly colourful ambience, culinary delights to a high standard and an unrivalled largesse. The 60 suites and junior suites furnished with the finest materials by Swiss interior designer Carlo Rampazzi offer maximum comfort. All of the suites are south-facing and offer a breathtaking view of the lake and the mountains. This view is just one reason why the Carlton has been awarded Forbes’ coveted five-star rating. The excellent review, which is considered an international seal of quality, praised the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz for its sunny location and personal service in particular. Every guest is thus provided with a private concierge who is available 24/7, and an outdoor butler will organise tailored experiences.  The two restaurants Romanoff and Da Vittorio – St. Moritz (1 Michelin star and 18 Gault Millau points) serve first-class culinary delights in an authentic and informal setting. 7.1 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Hotel needs renovation. Lacking vibe. Feels a bit tired. Food needs to be improved especially Romanoff.
6.7 Good
Pros: Staffs are not friendly neither professional. They make a mistake and claim on us!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was super friendly and always attentive to even minor details
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Service was very personal and focused on meeting each and every guest requirements. Free shuttles to outside restaurants / bars / shops in the hotel Bentley is a very cool touch!
Cons: Bedding alternatives would be great (ie soft mattress covers and / or pillow options
7.5 Good
Pros: View, lobby was comfortable, staff was good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our second visit to the Carlton but pure luxury and service - love the location and views of St Moritz and the lake ... although the price is on the higher side ~ we felt we received up and beyond the highest level of service and amenities!! Top notch ... would love to go back!!
6.3 Good
Pros: The building is beautiful and the interior matching the atmosphere
Cons: I would say staff need to be equally attentive to customers who are not “famous”. Also, when we arrived the bathroom in our suite was not spotlessly clean as we found hair in the shower. Receptionist didn’t really seem to bother. Unacceptable for any hotel, not to mention in that kind of establishment. In general, if you are not a famous billionaire and you can still easily afford to stay in a place like this, choose a different one.

This hotel features 323 square feet (30 square meters) of event facilities. A train station pick-up service is provided at no charge, and free self parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, because close proximity to nature and out of town. Better than staying in St.Moritz downtown. Also they have a good outdoor jacuzzi in their spa center.
Cons: Food could be better for what they are asking. Little overpriced.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The wellness centre was excellent. Bus service was also great.
Cons: The television was broken and the pillows were too soft!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is outside of center city but good for hiking. In general, this is a good hotel with no pretensions of being a great one. The staff was very helpful in terms of where to sight see and where to hike. The food quality matched the facility quality. Views from the room were very nice.
Cons: Our rooms were not in the main building and we had to lug luggage forty yards up a small hill and then upstairs in the hotel (no elevator). The showers are small, floor level and curtained, so there is potential to get water all over the bathroom floor, until you learn how to control the shower head and your minute, constrained maneuverings. The room price for St. Moritz was pleasantly surprising and therefore the hotel was good value for the money. Because of that value, we would willingly stay here again, despite the shortcomings.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was good, out of town, but a free shuttle-bus is bookable to get you there and back (not in the evening though, so plan ahead as the half board is a better price if booked in advance!) Staff were friendly and helpful Breakfast was excellent.
Cons: We were charged £4.00 for a carafe of tap water, with our 4 course meal for two, which we were not happy about but the waiter refused to change this, despite there being nothing on the menu to indicate the charge. We asked in advance if the menu would work for us as we don't eat meat, and were told, no problem, we cater for vegetarians. However on each of the two days we stayed there there was only one main course option without meat, and no indication on the menu of what was vegetarian (so you could't tell that the soups were made with meat stock) There is a sense that guests are not trusted by management, you can only have a kettle in your room if you pay a deposit. We were told there was a bag in our room with things for the spa, but it turned out just to be two big towels - if you want robes or slippers you have to pay. The spa was pleasant and very clean, but with very basic changing facilities, and the hot tubs were really not hot enough on a cold winter's night. The hotel advertises a lounge area, but in winter this is just a small alcove off the main entrance hall, with uncomfortable chairs. Drinks were expensive, (but they were everywhere in Switzerland)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I came to the hotel for one night. There was a free shuttle that picked me up a the train station and brought back on the next day. I got upgraded to a bigger room as I had booked. Spa was great! Saunas and especially the jacuzzi outdoors were perfect! View from the breakfast was amazing. Also people working in reception were kind and helpful! If I'll be again in St.Moritz I will definitely stay here.
Cons: Spa could be open also in the mornings! Now it was 15-21 o'clock.
7.1 Good
Pros: Balconies with good views. Breakfast. Room had excellent storage
Cons: Pathway from reception was unsafe shuttle service inadequate given the location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and good personnel, speaks fluently several languages. Beautiful building, spacially, clean, modern. Restaurant is nice, food and breakfast are good. Bedroom is sober but nice and clean. Window views from room and restaurant are stunning!

9.0 Excellent
Pros: This a charming, cosy hotel - modern but with an old-world feel, The breakfast was good, and the staff very helpful and friendly. The possibility of transport from the station is helpful, especially given the geography of the town. The room was comfortable with super soft, thick towels. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Cons: Slightly overpriced compare to other hotels in the world, but this is St. Moritz.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast spa are perfect. Room was also great the closet could be bigger, especially for a Winter resort.
Cons: All was good.
9.0 Excellent
Cons: Staff could pay more attention to casual guests and not only to VIP or guests dressing up or over! but this is st moritz.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place. Room was clean and very comfortable, towels changed daily, bed linen every two days. Evening “turn down” service. We even got to choose what pillows we required from a “comfort menu”. Breakfast was exceptional with a vast choice to suit all tastes and requirements with pianist playing each morning which was a lovely touch. Staff very attentive and nothing too much trouble. We had gone for White Turf racing however the hotel appeared well attended by the skiing enthusiasts too. Michelin star restaurant at the hotel which we didn’t eat in....although we did have a lovely meal in the bar area. Not the cheapest for a bar meal but we expected that being in St Moritz. Both the service and quality of meal was second to none. Casino and spa on site too although we did not sample either. Lovely atmosphere and made to feel very welcome. We will definitely return.
Cons: We had our window open on a number of nights for some fresh air, however it did get quite noisy approx 3am on 2 occasions with a number of guests shouting, screaming and singing. We can only presume this was as they were leaving due to the slamming of car doors and subsequent peace and quiet. Did not affect our overall fantastic experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was the true meaning of luxury and first class service. Can not fault location, room, staff or facilities. Breakfast was a particular highlight.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff facilities.
Cons: The Junior Suite is just a large studio, sleeping room with 4 beds, a TV and a bathroom. Pretty basic accommodations for the price. No Kitchenette at all. There was also a small step down into the room which we were constantly tripping over.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: all available for everybodies taste
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central location, delightful spa, non smoking rooftop bar, lovely rooms, comfy bed & nice bed linen. Faultless stay
Cons: It was all great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 1. Location is unbeatable. Middle of everything. Super close to ski lift. 2. Hotel offers free pickup from train station. Distance is short but up the hill with suitcases would be tough. 3. Very accommodating and friendly staff. We received a birthday gift certificate to use at the hotel. Very nice touch, much appreciated. 4. Breakfast is good. Everyone found plenty to eat. It is at Mono restaurant on the bottom level of the hotel. Nice restaurant with very extensive wine list. Like everywhere in St.Moritz expect to spend a good sum. :-) 5. Beautiful views from spa and bar on the top floor. 6. Rooms are super clean and nice. Family of 4 stayed in the junior suite and we were comfortable. Surprisingly comfortable pull out sofa. Was already set up when we arrived. Kids were happy. Bedding overall is very nice. Tips: consider renting ski gear up on the mountain (Corviglia). Would save the hassle of bringing it down and taking it up every time. Ski passes at the hotel are 45 CHF per day per person, but you have to buy for every night of stay. Otherwise, the price goes up significantly. La Stalla right across from the hotel is a cozy place to get pretty good pizza and local dishes relatively inexpensively. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you Hotel Monopol!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very caring and friendly. Unfortunately we arrived late and had to leave early so didn’t get to enjoy the facilities.
Cons: They asked for a booking voucher, but there wasn’t one to give them. Eventually they settled for the booking confirmation email.

Pros: Central location was a 5 minute walk to the ski lift Junior suite was spacious and very comfortable staff was exceptionally helpful
Cons: Nothing I didn’t like
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully renovated hotel located in the center of St. Moritz shopping center

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was amazing! I stayed at the hostel part and it was just incredible. The staff in particular were just amazing. I will stay here again.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good breakfast (make sure to book it in advance). Nice ski room, great view over the mountains.
Cons: The noise isolation is non-existing. You hear every footstep in the aisle and in other people's rooms, especially annoying between 23h and 6h. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. One reason for choosing this hotel is the free shuttle service, but (contrary to the info given by booking.com) it only runs until 6PM (at 7PM we had to take a taxi from the train station, which costs 38 CHF). The hotel page also says ski-to-door, which is not true.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is amazing, great location for people looking for a nice environment away from the city but very close to it. The pass for transport is an amazing addition for people looking to explore Engandin. The breakfast is really good.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazingly nice, specially LAura (reception) she also kept on line, by chat helping me with reservation's details from my train going to St. Moritz, genial ! Pros: Everything is very clean and the staff is very friendly
Cons: Unknown people, of different sex together in the room is not a acceptable option.

Pros: Breakfast and dinner were superb & free upgrade
Cons: Nothing

Pros: It was really nice to have an option of freshly made eggs or pancakes, the buffet is also good, especially for cereal lovers. Rooms very fine, location is perfect for skiers - just a few minutes walk to the gondola. Best thing was free entrance to the public spa across the road. Didn't try the inhouse facilities.
Cons: Pillows could have been bigger, but that's a minor issue. Everything else was good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just above my expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff, free entry to spa and tickets to cable cars
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location close to the slopes and cross country area
Cons: It is apparently a 4 star hotel but more appropriate rating would be 3 if you feel generous enough. The shuttle from and to the train station normally is included in the room rate, however, we had to pay 20 CHF each way as we have been told that the hotel does not support third party providers and guests who book a room via booking.com have to pay for the shuttle. Breakfast OK, decent choice but not a 4 star level.

Pros: The hotel stuff was helpful and always smiling. Spa and pool activity was very good after skiing. The hotel was neat, clean and well-decorated.
Cons: As mentioned in hotel page, ski train is 200-300m far away from hotel because of this reason, skiers had better rent ski either near ski train or on the top of the mountain( Corviglia)
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We were picked up from the station and had an amazing welcome from Christina(?). Apologies but I have forgotten her name. We were upgraded on arrival and had a lovely room with a generous size and excellent bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good, speedy service and generous buffet. Staff made the hotel though - we didn't have time to do much Saint Moritz research but the reception team pointed us to the Muottas Muragl. This was perfect for us as non skiers. We could take the train up, have a snowshoe walk, sledge and have lunch in the most lovely restaurant. We would never have found this without the recommendation from the staff.
Cons: Pool complex could have done with a hot-tub but was a good size and not too crowded. Shame you can't have it exclusively! Otherwise we liked everything. Hotel was walking distance to shops and a short bus ride to the ski slopes all around.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel very cozy and well decorated. The staff is very helpful. The location is in the centre and easy to access to every where by walk distance. We had dinner at Chinese restaurant at the hotel, not that expensive and tasty !
10.0 Excellent
