We had a lovely room in the building between the hotel and car park, quiet and well appointed. Close to everything. Breakfast was lovely.
Location much better than I had realised, as it was so near the delightful harbour. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food excellent. Only drawback was the rather cramped bathroom, but we managed OK. (We were in the annexe, which was otherwise fine.)
See above, but the room was after all a conversion from an old property, and the bedroom itself was big enough.
The hotel was in a good spot for our further travels and offered a good selection on the menu. Staff were nice and the bed in the room was huge
We were above the beer garden which was very noisy even with the window shut (it was warm so wanted it open) we were told it would be clear by 11 but it wasn’t and one night there were a group of youths (locals?) shouting and swearing a lot until about 11.20. We then had other people just deciding to talk outside until about midnight. All very noisy! The staff were nice but all very young, maybe they didn’t feel able to stop the amount of shouting and swearing? The car park is abysmal. Really bumpy, hard to drive on and very slippy after rain. We also struggled to get a space. You really need to resurface and have dedicated spaces for your rooms next to the entrance. Would be nice if your tv had apps or a DVD player, all other hotels we stayed at on our tour did. The room was a bit tired, with old furniture and chipped paint. We stayed at 5 hotels on our tour and yours was by far the most expensive but the poorest all round experience unfortunately. You really need to address your car park and manage the noise of your clients if you’re going to charge the prices you do.
Nicely renovated building retaining older features. Rom was very comfortable. Location is perfect at the edge of a small world heritage harbour with beautiful old building, bars, restaurants. I would certainly stay there again.
The bed was amazing the light dimmer made it so comfy was an amazing stay.
The window kept making noise as you walked around the room but I don't know if that can be helped.
