Location was convenient for the Tudor Barn wedding venue which we were attending. Everything else was sub-par for the price paid. Sizeable garden that we couldn't enjoy due to rain.
For what we paid, and considering this was meant to be a premium hotel, the breakfast was served as a buffet and similar to what you get in travelodge. Didn't see an egg menu and there wasn't an option to request different elements such as poached eggs, omelette etc which I would expect from an establishment like this, especially when the bar was charging £5 for a bowl of chips? We also we had to order toast which seemed odd? Bed was hard, pillows were hard, lampshade broken in room, table and chairs in an already tiny room were surplus to requirements. TV was also temperamental and we couldn't control the temp of the room that was really hot.
Nice clean room with a good bed.
Customer focus of the staff was poor.
Noisy from bar until 02.30 am.
breakfast was good. We didnt get offered tea or coffee
The receptionist could of been more informative about the hote lwhen I checked in
Beautiful decor in the room, felt very cosy and we had a lovely stay. Made use of the great facilities as we went to the gym. Lovely grounds and feels like a very peaceful getaway
Was a bit like a maze to find our room but not an issue just the nature of the hotel
