Pros: Super comfy. Everything to the spot. Super helpful and friendly staff. Hotel can arrange private car to take u to the airport shuttle stop which locates just down by the hotel. Remember to also call the hotel to arrange a car to pick u up from the airport shuttle drop off point.

Cons: With Ethan Lee at the front desk, our check in became a nightmare. We came early morning for our 5 nights stay and requested a room to check in early. He said there is no room. We said we pay. He said if you pay there is a room by laughing. At the end he decided to give us a room with the most expensive price of the whole stay even it was after 4:30 am. The attitude was disorder. Other staff apologized one by one but the hotel management didn’t apologize for the issue (they charged the top rate) Seems they have the same attitude. Then we figured out that there are much better location and elegant hotel options in the city. A big mistake to stay in the Shilla Hotel Seoul.

Cons: Too pricey for 4 stars hotel. I stayed in winter time, below 5 degC. The window seal is not tight closed so the air can ingress to your room, if you were near the window. Fortunately the wamer was working perfectly. So in your bed you can feel warm.

Cons: A bit overpriced for the size of the room - we stayed in another hotel on the same trip - 3 blocks away which had a bigger room, new and modern design for about 30% less. This hotel was the ‘last stop on the honeymoon’ - didn’t quite live up to the extra spend.

Pros: Location is about 10 minutes away from city centre, which is quiet but with plenty of choices of restaurants nearby. The room is spacious with comfy beds. View from my room at 18/F was great (but I realised that view from other floors are more or less the same). Room was cleaned every day and provided with all necessities. New slippers were provided every two days. Staffs were really helpful and spoke fluent English. Free portable wifi is great too.

For Muslim, all the halal food is just next to the hotel, Convenience store right infront, Myeongdong station like 50m away, Myeongdong street across the street, Namsan tower behind the hotel. Everything is just walking distance. I really love the location. The house keeper cleans your room every single day. The staff were good and friendy. Hotel really quiet because the major street is like 50m/100m away so no noise coming from traffic. Cozy too! Ouh yes, they also provide airport transfer easy and convenient! 15,000won/pax airport is like 1hr30mins away. You can board bus number 6015 at Incheon international airport and drop at the myeongdong street to go to the hotel. They also provide Airport transfer from Gimpo Airport. If you were to take taxi, it will probably cost more.

Cons: The staff gave me a bit of flak when I needed a special invoice to get reimbursed by my work and the "pool" was laughable. Good place to crash for the night but honestly, there must be a way better place for as much money as this place charges. The location was fantastic though..I loved being so close to all of the great spots in Seoul. But honestly, my advice is do some homework and save some money.

Cons: Shower drained too slowly. We didn't bother to try to have maintenance fix it since we had a short stay. Towels were clean, but were clearly old/worn.

The room we got was at the residence which came with kitchen and washer/dryer and with guide in English on how to operate the appliances. Room was spacious for 4 pax (2 teens) with 3 single beds. It also has a small table and coffee table with sofa. Still have enough room to move about. Toilet is spacious with separated toilet and shower area. We definitely will come back next time we are back in Seoul. Breakfast was ok just that it has the same food for the 3 days we were there.

Pros: I loved the room, the rainfall shower head was delightful! It was a perfect sized room. It’s located right across from an airport shuttle stop and has easy access to train. The bed was comfortable, and I loved how dark the room got at night. The maid service was spectacular. I also loved how there is a coffee shop and 7/11 located on the first floor. The breakfast was also amazing, there was a wide variety of items to choose from, it was fresh and allowed me to stay on my meal plan. They allowed me to check out a bit later without any charge.

Cons: It was loud, the noise from the street could be heard from the 20th floor there was a lot of honking at midnight through 3am. It was hard to sleep. They offered the essentials such as a comb, tooth brush and shower cap. Their soap and shampoo didn’t do much for me and house keeping kept throwing away the half used bottles and replacing them with new ones.

Pros: The hotel location is easy to reach from the airport with direct limousine bus (back & forth). Easy to connect with other tourist locations and towns with tranquillity atmosphere. Hotel does provide shuttle bus to key locations. Some CVSs and late night restaurants in a walking distance. Hotel staffs were nice, caring and really helpful. Though, passing through time, but the hotel has kept itself really well. The room was big and comfy for 3 of us. Beds are perfect. We had 1 king bed and 1 single bed room, so it was very comfortable for us to rest :) All good for us! Truly recommend if you have the budget. For us, hotel needs to be comfortable, safe, clean and roomy when traveling, so this is really quite a great value.

The breakfast selection was amazing. I discovered a problem with my toilet at 1030PM and within literally minutes, the duty manager and a maintenance worker were in my room to fix it. Very impressive indeed. The KA limousine to Incheon airport goes from right outside the hotel so transfer was super easy.

Cons: The tap in the bathroom are quite old and could not completely turn off. Need to turn on & off to adjust several times for it to come to 100% off with no dripping water. The draining for sink basin was rather slow with some blogs. But the housekeeping fixed it when came in for cleaning. Thanks. There should be more separated lighting switches in the room, not just the master & reading lights - for example a night light, especially for family with kid or elderly people to be able to see when going to the restroom during the night. For us, we kept the light in bathroom on :) But overall, it was a great stay for us!

Cons: The deluxe room on the 17th floor was exceptionally well-appointed, quiet and dark, but so hot! It was not possible to turn down the heat so it became a little uncomfortable. A 3 bed room on a lower floor was a fraction cooler, but I would caution those looking for a good night's sleep to avoid the floors with family rooms on as we were disturbed by very loud children, literally shrieking, for several hours. With an early flight to get up for, this was rather stressful. That said, the staff at the hotel discreetly removed the noisemakers elsewhere once they became aware, something we only found out about next day, and were extremely impressed by. Thank you staff!

Cons: Room is extremely small. There is no closet at all and has only a small rack on the wall to hang clothes. I almost did not have enough space to put my regular size luggage. The toilet was not working right, and the sink was clotting. The maintenance guy did come up right away to help me with the toilet issue which was a plus. I am not sure if size of the room is usually this small for this type of hotel... I usually stay at main stream hotel like Hyatt, Hilton or Marriott so I have no comparible to work with.

Cons: Huge building site behind the hotel. Construction woke us up on the first night at 5am. Moved rooms, but the second room was also noisy. Moved again to the front of the hotel, which was fine. Staff were apologetic and polite, but disappointing to have to keep negotiating with them to fix this problem. Breakfast good but over-priced.

I used a usual credit card, which is why I don't accept, that it didnt work. I booked everything with it for my Korea journey. so they also let me pay more than needed. other hotels with same amount of stars, would have been better and same price. never again. plus the breakfast is very bad. very poor choice of meals. sorry cannot recommend this hotel even though I always had good experiences with this hotel brand but this was disappointing. and I would have expected something else, because I always experienced great quality in every Korean 4+ hotel I used to stay. so this would be my first hotel which was really not like the high Korean standard.

Cons: Our room was tucked away down a cramped corridor with very low ceilings off of the main hallway, as if it were renovated and repurposed from a prior utility space but you forget about it once you walk into the very spacious room, eslecially for Korea. The bathtub was a bit too small.

The hallway temperature felt perfect, but we could not get the room the same. (Please note, we did not ask staff for assistance, so in hindsight, we probably should have). There was a rear door directly at the elevators that we were unable to use, but would have been great to use as we always ended up walking past it.

Pros: Hotel in Myeongdong area is expensive and Staz Hotel has the best price for comfortable, clean and good location.. There is a 7-11 convenient store at reception area. Very accessible n short walking distance from metro station Euljiro 3 sam ga. The station had underground shopping mall that will lead to Myeongdong shopping district and night markets in 5 mins of walking.

Pros: The location in Myeongdong and easy access to the subway are excellent. Room was quiet. We could hear some traffic as the hotel is next to a main road, but we could not hear other guests. Great view of Namsan Tower.
Cons: The hotel default temperature was very warm (29-30 deg celsius) even with the room heater set to off. We had to open the windows to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. Even with the outdoor temperature at 0-2 deg celsius and the windows open, the ongoing hotel heat kept the room at 25 deg celsius. It was not always good to keep the windows open since the air quality was mostly bad. Air in the hotel was very dry as well. Dry nose, dry throat, and constantly getting static shocked by everything.

Cons: Even it's a little old 4 stars hotel, service was excellent. Room Cleaned daily & beds tidy & clean. Our deposit box could not be opened. Once phone call to maintenance Dept, the response was very fast. No problem in conversing with staff ,most of them speak English.

Pros: As an affordable accommodation it has all the basic necessities needed. If you’re just looking for a place to rest and won’t be spending much time at the hotel, this is a good option. There’s a water dispenser on every floor which was very useful. The rooms are also quite spacious vs a hotel. The location was also superb. Especially having the airport bus stop right in front of the hotel was amazing. Trains were also a short walk from the hotel so it was easy getting around Seoul.

Pros: That it had a laundry room and water dispenser.
Cons: The service was horrible, housekeeping threw a box we kept to put in our cooking utensils and deny it, requested to make the room but only the bed and rubbish was clean up. Sheets were not changed, floor not sweep and toilet not washed. We reached the hotel early from our flight, went to put our luggage and was told that we are only able to check in at 2pm, we went to have lunch and came back at 1.45pm but they refused to allow us to check in 15mins earlier too. Reception staff was not friendly at all.

Cons: The room was hot, stuffy, dark and dirty. The bed was squeaky and uncomfortable. The kitchen was sticky, smelly and dirty. The bathroom was dirty as well.
