Pros (+) Hospitality of the staff was excellent. They were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was substantial and very good as well.
Cons (-) A/C units in the room are loud and bathrooms could use updating and were very small.

Pros (+) We usually stop half way from Charlotte, NC to Orlando on our family visits, but we have never found a better place than this. It is right in the middle of the historic district and the employees are top notch! The breakfast is fantastic! It reminds me of an upscale European B and B. Highly recommended!!
Cons (-) No espresso machine! Wah wah. In Spain, France, and Italy you can find espresso (they just call it a caffe') in many hotels of this size. BUT if this is all I found wrong with this place you had better make that reservation!!

Pros (+) Kelly who worked at the front desk was so nice and accommodating. She immediately made us feel at home. I will definitely return to the Eliza Thompson House -- such a special place!
