The room felt like home
Curtains needed attention And in the morning I like darkness Until I’m full awake This is not possible in the room I was in
Great service, nice breakfast (free). Friendly staff. Tons of parking (free). Right smack dab in Santa Rosa!
No elevator to the second floor at the annex building. My bad as I wanted the second floor anyway. Shower handle took a little bit to figure out. Put me in my place because I am suppose to be an engineer!
The room we booked did not have a window to open - it was nice that we received an alternative option without extra pay. The complementary breakfast was a nice surprise. The parking was included, and nearby.
The equipment of the rooms is said to be antique, so in fact, it is fragile, and prone to breaks. The whole place was over-decorated but lacked detailed amenities. In some rooms, windows do not open. There are no tea kettles, no water or wine glasses in the room, no corkscrew but a coffee machine, and plastic mugs. There is no fridge, no safe, and no option for opening a second piece of luggage. The breakfast is a nice extra-treat. Yet all plates, cutlery are of plastic creating a lot of garbage. For us, this presented a strange contradiction to the "historical and traditional" style of the property.
Charming, well-maintained older hotel in nice location. Friendly staff. Continental breakfast pretty good
Very soft saggy mattress. Quite uncomfortable. Thin towels...need to upgrade. Our room on 4th floor was quiet but had only 2 tiny windows letting in little light.
Adorable little place across the street from the train station. We loved the interior, and the bed felt great to sleep on! We'd definitely go back if we're in Santa Rosa again!
Breakfast wasn't a huge spread, just a boring hotel buffet with no hot options other than coffee and a waffle maker. Parking is a block away, and the area can be a little sketchy at night.
