We arrived and hotel didn't have a room for us.
Booked reservation on amona.com on May 5th for a stay on May 20th and they did not have a room for us. Which was pre-paid on May 5th.

Working hard on getting better
Brand new mattresses arrived the same day as we did. Motel was freshly painted inside and out. Best shower of our entire trip.

The room was okay but very small. Clean. Shower water pressure was better than most. The Direct TV channel selection was better than most basic cable systems. Place was quiet. Starbucks was next door and the freeway southbound ramp was very close by.
First at the rate I expected better. Santa Rosa due to its proximity to the California wine country is fairly pricey. The room was very small and fairly basic. A Motel 6 would have been I presume as adequate but cheaper. The continental breakfast, I believe was advertised to start at 6:30, I went down on Sunday at 7 and found the office dark. (it was open at 7:45 when leaving). Do not expect much other than vacuum carafe coffee, toast and fruit. At least that is what I viewed from the window as I passed by. In short I expected a little better (not much) than basic lodging and what I got was basic 2 star lodging
