The location, once one entered, was private, serene and quiet (if no basketball game in large arena close to Inn). The rooms were comfortable, bathrooms nice, little outside tables good touch, outside area with fire pit nice. Location close to beach, boardwalk and downtown area. plenty of restaurants close by. Fresh fruit and cereal available in lobby in a.m. Would stay there again.
Seemed right on edge of an area that felt a little iffy at night. People sleeping in doorways and on the street. Parking not right a hotel...not comfortable leaving anything in my car although no issues as it turned out. Was not comfortable going to my car at night. Desk chair far to low to be able to sit at desk. Wish for hot water maker in room (had coffee etc. available for several hours in lobby) but couldn't make in room. Also would have really liked small frig in room, as wanted to keep food in room for evening rather than go out. Water in shower not as hot as would have liked. BUT would stay there again.

OK with a few minor issues
Friendly staff, home baked cookies, clean room with fireplace, DVD player, Eco-green, close to downtown and beach. They called ahead with instructions in case of late check-in after 8pm. Attendant picked up call after hours and offered assistance, overall great service. "Patio", which is a little table and chairs in the walkway in front of each room, and a bigger lounge area in the courtyard with fire pit was nice.
Windows didn't lock. That was uncomfortable given proximity to downtown and SCs many shady characters roaming it, but the building itself is locked with keyed entry. Some wear and tear to the room, like a few large scuffs on the walls and cleaning wear marks on bath furnishings.. Cute and clean place but inside room and outside building just wasn't as polished as it appears in booking pictures. Easy fixes the hotel should invest in to polish it up for their price range. Limited parking, but parking spots become available at dinner time.

THe hotel was over-priced. There is no mention on the web page that the hotel is unattended both during the day and in the evening. I would never have stayed in the hotel if I was aware that a hotel charging excessive rates had no reception.
