Pros: The grounds and pools were amazing. The bar and restaurant on site are some of the best in the area, and they have everything you need from bikes to snorkel rentals. The place is just beautiful.
Cons: Not much to not like. Maybe one else or two instances of staff being slow or nonchelant, but that's just the island I think.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Food was the bomb! Warm welcome. Service and attentiveness and friendliness of staff was unmatched! They served you anywhere and everywhere on the property - including on the dock. Always promptly attending with a smile. Total relaxation. Hotel picks you up from the airport, drops u off, arranges all trips, scuba pickup right off the private doc. Superb!!!! Beds and pillow super comfy, friendly staff, abundance of towels, two pools including an infinity pool!
Cons: The overcharging overpricing on food and drinks was tacky. They charge $5 US to "split" a meal and put it on another plate. Their "complimentary" breakfast is worst than what you would find at a Motel 6. One of their employees taunted a beautiful iguana, stepped on its tail on purpose and ripped it off -- horrifying the guests who saw. Needless to say once we all complained this employee was not seen again on the property.

Pros: The staff at Victoria House was the real star. They were extremely friendly and appeared to really want the traveler to have a great experience. Food was good, and the service was great.
Cons: The seaweed on the beach is a bit of an issue. The staff worked everyday to remove it but the fact that you can’t walk directly into the beach is a it of an issue. In conversations with other travelers this is an issue all along San Pedro.

Good7.4
Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are kept up nicely. The location is good. Far enough from the town, but easy enough to get to town. The pool and bar is on the premises. The views are good and they have an excursion office on site which makes it easy. The reef with use of their free kayaks make it easy to get to the reef and snorkel. It is a good value for the price,
Cons: The units inside are showing its age and kitchen facilities are sometimes not complete or not working. The beds are somewhat comfortable, but need newer mattresses instead of a memory foam topper. There is no onsite restaurant, but many near by which helps.

Good7.1
Pros: Secluded beautiful. The staff are helpful and accomodating. Room is nice and clean. They have 2 kayaks and some fishing poles. No other water sports or activities other than what the beach and the 3 swimming pools provides. There is a free boat that goes into town once per day and comes back once per day. On most days. Otherwise you can take a water taxi that is 40$ per person per trip.
Cons: What they do t tell you until you arrive is that what looks like roads are un paved and rough. This location is remote so get your groceries and liquor before you go and there is no renting a car. You can rent a golf cart or a moped but it is like 100$ per day and gas is hard to find and sometimes the roads get washed out. The tiki bar there is expensive and watered down drinks and fake powdered mixes are used. Kitchen has a great cook but it can be expensive. Also location is almost on the farthest north side of the island and not near the main part of town. This is not necessarily a bad thing but closer to town would have been better.
