9.6 Excellent
Pros: This a lovely relaxed hotel on the sea coast with really friendly and helpful staff. You can use the hotel to relax or go on their fishing or smocking trips which are excellent. It has a lovely bar area and the restaurant food is the best we found in San Pedro.
Cons: The hotel has lovely pools but most of the sea near the hotel is really too shallow in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Magical setting on the ocean with warm winds blowing the graceful palm trees. Fantastic dinners outside their very good restaurant, overlooking the pool and the moonlit ocean. Very nice and comfortable room, although no TV. That made for a more romantic getaway! Gini was a great waiter for breakfast and dinner and very engaging for conversation. Front desk, other waiters, Antonio the bellman and everyone else were all very helpful and delightful. We'll be back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Property is absolutely beautiful. The staff were very helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Relatively small resort and therefore quiet. Great for relaxation
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing resort and amazing staff! We are definitely coming back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant in the hotel was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility was easy to manage, and the pools were great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everyrhing from the upgrade to a king room on the beach to the incredible service and wonderful food. The staff are so kind, welcoming, and accommodating! I can’t imagine a more perfect experience or a more beautiful place than Victoria House.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff at Victoria House was the real star. They were extremely friendly and appeared to really want the traveler to have a great experience. Food was good, and the service was great.
Cons: The seaweed on the beach is a bit of an issue. The staff worked everyday to remove it but the fact that you can’t walk directly into the beach is a it of an issue. In conversations with other travelers this is an issue all along San Pedro.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The grounds and pools were amazing. The bar and restaurant on site are some of the best in the area, and they have everything you need from bikes to snorkel rentals. The place is just beautiful.
Cons: Not much to not like. Maybe one else or two instances of staff being slow or nonchelant, but that's just the island I think.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Staff at Victoria House are amazing and so friendly and accommodating. the resort is clean and the grounds are kept in immaculate condition. We will be back!
Cons: not a thing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The combed white sand beaches shaded naturally by coconut trees. The extra large shower stall with room for two. The restaurant had fantastic cuisine with local lobster dishes and other with Belizean twists. The service was concierge level at every point. We enjoyed 2 fantastic snorkeling excursions that left right from our dock. Great morning view of the sunrise.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Food was the bomb! Warm welcome. Service and attentiveness and friendliness of staff was unmatched! They served you anywhere and everywhere on the property - including on the dock. Always promptly attending with a smile. Total relaxation. Hotel picks you up from the airport, drops u off, arranges all trips, scuba pickup right off the private doc. Superb!!!! Beds and pillow super comfy, friendly staff, abundance of towels, two pools including an infinity pool!
Cons: The overcharging overpricing on food and drinks was tacky. They charge $5 US to "split" a meal and put it on another plate. Their "complimentary" breakfast is worst than what you would find at a Motel 6. One of their employees taunted a beautiful iguana, stepped on its tail on purpose and ripped it off -- horrifying the guests who saw. Needless to say once we all complained this employee was not seen again on the property.

Pros: Very friendly manager resp. owner. Well managed and clean. Free bikes available to get into the city.

Pros: Cocotal Inn was perfect for relaxing vacations. the owners and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The accomodation was very clean and the kitchen fully equipped. The garden was beautiful and very well maintained. It was very convenient to have access to both free bikes and kayaks. We went several time snorkeling on the reef bareer. Pros: Great staff and the perfect location for the area. Close to what you would want to do an see.
Cons: The air port is closer than we would have liked, certain times of the day it was noisy with all the flights just our the back door.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had so much privacy. Each unit has private balcony that can’t be seen from the other balconies. Even though it was right downtown, it was very quite. It was easy to get a golf cart arranged with the staff.
Cons: Not a lot of activities offered.

Cons: Not much beach
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was very big, the location great and the staff was wonderful.
Cons: One of the rooms, which was our kids rooms, was extremely bright and they barely slept. There were no curtains on the window and a security light was shining directly into the room.

Pros: It was perfect! Felt like home, kept up immaculately, wonderful location and the staff was amazing. We felt like we were home the whole time.
Cons: There is absolutely nothing to not love about this property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. The beds were enormous and both bedrooms were large. Beautiful views from the back and front patio in our room. Fully equipped and modern kitchen.
Cons: Couches could be more comfortable and creaked when we sat down.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Yes! It's true. This place is a gem. Very convenient location - by the sea and close enough to the harbour for swift arrival and departure. The apartment is comfortable and clean. You can tell by the way it is decorated and equipped that the appartement is owned & loved! Our kids loved the swimming pool on site. All staff are very kind helpful. They booked a fantastic snorkeling tour for us next door at Ramons. Water is provided in the apartment. Overall an excellent experience and we would return in future only to see the beach again from our balcony.
Cons: There wasn’t anything to dislike about The Palms Oceanfront suites!

Pros: The staff was absolutely amazing they went over and beyond, every single one of them. The location was beautiful. felt like we stayed with Family.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The location is away from the energy of downtown but it is very easy to gt to downtown.
Cons: We were disappointed that there wasn't an ocean entry from the beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service. Front desk was SO helpful. Beautiful property!
Cons: I wish we had a better view of the ocean being that the hotel was only at half capacity.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I did some research and was looking for something away from tourist but with good service to get excursions booked. The fact that the resort aims to be eco-friendly was a plus and that it had a pool and hottub by the water was nice. The staff was accomodating and professional. the rooms were cleaned daily. The pool was cleaned daily and so was the property. It also helped that they provide a taxi to and from the ferry or the airport in san pedro at no extra cost. We also enjoyed the pier at sunset and sundown. We used the kayaks and paddle boards. Someone in our party did not know how to ride a bike, but we would have used them if she did.
Cons: The only part that I compromised on was there was not a beach where you can walk right into the ocean from the property. But we were able to walk to Ramom's village which had beach front.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great staff was awesome

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is great, bed is very large and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped.
Cons: The shower was really bad. Needs a new shower head that is more than a drizzle and there’s no temp control for the water that does come out.
5.0 Okay
Pros: It’s a beautiful resort. Very high end
Cons: The beach is not great. Muddy waters and full of seaweed. Upon arrival at airport we were told the cab transfer would be $25 First time in Belize we found it was $25US after our ride All pricing has been quoted in BZ $ or otherwise clearly stated at get go. The reception went over rules, the key (actual key, not card)would be $50 US if lost. The towel vouchers $50 if lost and other fines stated. We had to sign many papers It felt like an ambush Then after 5 minutes of being here we were approached by a guy asking us if we would like a tour of the new hotel next door they were building. Because we were curious we agreed. The more he explained, it started to sound like a time share meeting. I asked and he assured us it was an ownership opportunity. He was very pleasant and we did get a free ride to secret beach, a free breakfast before tour , which was in fact a time share presentation. We declined paying $150K US for 1/12 ownership. Basically there getting $1.8 million for a 2 bedroom condo. There’s one for sale at this resort for $220 K for full ownership. It’s a no brainer We were rewarded with use of a golf cart for 24 hours which was awesome but lost 2.5 hrs of our vacation This was the last leg of our Belize holiday and was nothing like the 3 other places we’d been. The staff every where else were genuine and kind
10.0 Excellent
Pros: THe entire staff was amazing. Always smiling and say hello or good morning.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great and they also gave us an upgrade! The hotel is very clean, spacious, great facilities and well positioned between the town and secret beach. Unfortunately on this side of the “Island” there are seaweeds so you can really get in the water. But that’s valid for all the hotels! I would recommend a stay here
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed location, intimate feel
6.0 Good
Pros: The resort was very pleasant and the staff were excellent.
Cons: The golf carts were a little expensive considering it was necessary to use a cart if you wanted to go to Secret beach or to San Pedro. So, we needed to rent a cart almost every day. My one and only big complaint was the food at Cocobana was terrible. Every part of the meal was not only bad, but over priced. The bread was stale and covered in butter. The martini ordered was not good and we could not drink it. I ordered the Adobo fish (which was recommended by the waiter) it was obviously frozen and freezer burnt, chewy and hard. I could not eat it out of fear of getting sick. My wife ordered the ravioli which was also freezer burnt and hard and chewy. The interior of the place felt very old fashioned and the seating was weird. People had to walk up several flights of stairs to their table. All the seating arrangements looked oddly placed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The guest services staff was extremely helpful.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Coco Beach is a gorgeous property, from the rooms to the pools, beach area, dock, restaurants and lobby. Their amenities are great - we particularly enjoyed the bicycles for use free of charge. The property is located 3.5 miles north of San Pedro and it's easy to take a golf cart (which we didn't do but most people do) or ride a bicycle (did I mention, they are free). There are restaurants up and down the beach both north and south of the property, in addition to the restaurants at Coco Beach. Some are within easy walking distance. The pizzas for order from the main restaurant are delicious and they deliver right to your door. All the staff, from the lobby to the pool bar are friendly and super helpful. Particular shout outs to David at the front desk and Johan at the pool bar for being extremely kind.
Cons: We were not impressed with the housekeeping. Our dirty towels were taken away but not replaced on several occasions. We went to Belize to dive so we tried to make all the arrangements with the on site tour company in advance of arrival but they were not helpful at all - they could only tell us about excursions such as jungle tours, zip lining, and tubing. We didn't get any dive shop recommendations from them so we had to do our own research and make our own arrangements which worked out fine. The dive shops we chose were great and we had a wonderful time. At the very least, it would have been nice if the on site tour company had provided us with a list to choose from.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The resort itself was very nice! Very well laid out. The resort was very pricey but very nice
Cons: It’s outside of town and there’s a toll going in to town. Our wifi never worked the whole time and although we were adequately compensated this should be mentioned. The prices were all very steep but it is to be expected on resorts.

Pros: The staff was great, very attentive and easy to work with. We loved the location, it’s quiet even though it’s right in the heart of town.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is very good, restaurants, bars, scuba schools, supermarket and other amenities all very close by. The staff were very helpful and attentive.
Cons: There is no balcony or private outdoor seating for the Apartment, but we knew this before hand.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location! Nice and quiet. No traffic/ road down this section of the beach which is present at many other properties. Very helpful staff. Cleaning service every day. The dock had some nice fish around it, worthwhile snorkelling. There isn’t really a beach but swimming off the dock rendered that not a problem. Kitchen is well appointed with a blender for drinks. Palapa bar next door is handy and excellent but you can’t hear it. Beds were comfortable.
Cons: Decore is a bit dated. Soap dishes in particular are cheap plastic travel cases. Some sugar in the kitchen for coffee would be nice as it’s tough to buy in small quantities.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff here is amazing!!! Units are older but well kept
Cons: Bed could have been a little better with nicer linens
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything ! Booked for 3 nights, decided to stay 5. The location was perfect for us : right by the sea and very central, near many scuba schools, groceries, restaurants, and diving doctor. Our "room" was actually a little apartment comprising a bedroom, a bathroom and separate living room with a kitchen (fully equipped so you can actually cook, use a microwave or blender), opening up onto a private balcony which was very enjoyable. The manager, Emmanuel, was very responsive, extremely welcoming and could not have done anything more to make our stay easy and smooth. We will definitely come back and recommend Tradewinds Paradise Villas.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This resort is exceptional! It has beautiful views of the beach and ocean and is close walking access to many stores, restaurants and activities. The water is beautiful and you can't beat waking up to palm trees and the sunrise. The staff, especially Emanuel, are extraordinary and accommodating. The resort/condos are clean and spacious. I definitely recommend the Tradewinds Paradise Villas!

Pros: So clean. I'm a clean freak. I take my own Clorox wipes and wipe down airline seats and hotels. I didn't feel the need to do that here. Very surprised how clean I felt. They honored our request for extra towels the entire stay... This is a struggle for most hotels. Good WiFi. The futon couch turns into a comfy bed... Better than the real bed! I felt very welcome here with thoughtfully stocked kitchen. Air-conditioning is effective.
Cons: The air conditioning can't be adjusted from full blast. It was effective, however, but a periodic blast of cold air in the face while trying to sleep is upsetting. If you turn it off, it'll be 77 degrees in 3 hours. The bed was lacking firmness. I felt like the mattress topper was going to make a taco out of me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. The room was lovely. Everything worked as it should. The hotel is in a central location on the beach. It is not far from stores, restaurants, gift shops, most anything you need is within walking distance. We had a wonderful time.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful and friendly. We loved the pool/sea view balcony and the comfy bed. The location was perfect as we were within walking distance of everything yet away from the noise. It can be pricey here but we booked early and got a good price.
Cons: Like every other place in San Pedro the beach is either non existent or unusable. There is a lovely dock area for suntanning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the best value in San Pedro. It is in a perfect location to walk to all the restaurants, has its own water sports company, beautiful suites with a pullout couch and king bed and full kitchen. The staff is terrific- we both had bad colds and they even sent us a Get Well card (a nice touch). I would absolutely stay here again. They have a larger, sister hotel nearby which you can also use and the rooms there looked fine but not as upscale. That one is better for large groups.
Cons: Nothing! Food and drinks are good too!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: My granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed Belize. We liked that Sun Breeze was near everything. The suites were nice and large and comfortable and liked being able to see the ocean from our balcony. Staff was extremely helpful and I asked a lot of questions.
Cons: A couple days the weather didn't cooperate but that's luck of the draw. Since there isn't that much to do if the weather doesn't cooperate, we just signed up for another excursion that would keep us out all day and at least we were seeing things.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The kitchen facilities made it easy for us to save on breakfast and lunch in our room. Supplies of coffee and tea were provided. The hotel helped us with tour arrangements and hiring a golf cart. Staff were very helpful and nice.
Cons: All was good.

7.5 Good
Pros: The bed was so very comfortable and the staff was very responsive but there were many issues with our room. PS: Junior was the BEST bartender!!!
Cons: there were water heating and pressure issues (they actually replaced tankless water heater 2nd day in), our phone didn't work for 3 days and our wifi in the room only worked for a single day of our 6 day stay and the ants in the kitchen were a bit crazy. Also charged $20 for broken remote even with all the issues we grinned and dealt with.... Seems a bit knit picky on their end.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We loved the amenities, my son played basketball, kayaked, and we hired board games for the nights we spent in the villa. The shuttle service was great too. The villa itself was wonderful and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Cons: We initially stayed in a superior sea view, but there was no view so we upgraded to the beach front at extra cost. Was slightly disappointed as we hadn’t budgeted for this and original view wasn’t as advertised. Still we are happy with our decision as it was well worth it and the villas themselves are lovely. The resort is 3.5 miles out of town which doesn’t sound much, but factor it in when planning your activities/meals out.
7.5 Good
Pros: Everything
Cons: Everything was fine.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: On the northern end of Ambergris Caye, the staff is incredibly accommodating. The spacious rooms are great for families. The location right on the beach can’t be beat and the water taxi to/from San Pedro stops right at their dock.
Cons: There is no real restaurant at the property, but it’s not a big deal since there are several restaurants right across the street.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay at Belizean Shores! The property was beautiful, especially the pool which we enjoyed multiple times a day. There is also a beautiful dock with hammocks over the water. Tennis court, bikes, golf cart rentals were also great, as was the fruit stand with fresh coconuts and the food and drinks we ordered poolside. The grounds were always immaculate and the staff very friendly and attentive. Also, the onsite tour operator Tuff E Nuff was amazing -- and right at the dock, super convenient!
Cons: The shower water temperature fluctuated often and the tap water is not desalinated, though they provide you with big jugs of water for drinking. This didn't bother us, but just something to keep in mind. And nothing to do with the hotel, but just want to mention that we were there in early October and the mosquitos were in full force, so bring bug spray!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good value and great staff. Rooms as advertised and comparable to others. Liked the pool and swim up bar set up
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is amazing, friendly staff, great amenities, and right on the water! We will definitely be back again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this property. It was a self contained apartment right on the beach. Staff were incredible, rooms were sealed from insects and very safe and secure. There was lots to do from the property itself - Tuff e nuff tours right from the dock were amazing and then the games etc at the hotel were fab. We loved it here! Staff were so so lovely - Roberty in particular!
Cons: The WiFi wasn’t the best but what you’d expect on an island in Belize. There wasn’t a restaurant but nice food stalls across the street and truck stop was a short golf cart away
7.4 Good
Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are kept up nicely. The location is good. Far enough from the town, but easy enough to get to town. The pool and bar is on the premises. The views are good and they have an excursion office on site which makes it easy. The reef with use of their free kayaks make it easy to get to the reef and snorkel. It is a good value for the price,
Cons: The units inside are showing its age and kitchen facilities are sometimes not complete or not working. The beds are somewhat comfortable, but need newer mattresses instead of a memory foam topper. There is no onsite restaurant, but many near by which helps.

Pros: This place is beautiful! The bar on site has a great happy hour and the sunset views are lovely. The spa offers great massages and other treatments. Very romantic!
Cons: It's a bit far from downtown San Pedro, but it is easy to borrow a bike or rent a golf cart for a few hours.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beach a boat ride away, but like paradise. Plenty of beds, great bar and good food. Staff delightful All staff at resort excellent - super helpful, polite and friendly. Would make sure guest experience was great
Cons: Initial room was very disappointing - remote, surrounded by building works, noisy because of builders hammering upstairs, short on equipment (AC remote, mugs, glasses, cutlery, microwave etc etc). Changing over the next day was effort and time we did not want in our holiday, but worth it as new room was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful upper keeping suite. Style and charm galore. Private beach. Great pool and bar. Staff were very welcoming. Vegan menu at restaurant.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: The bed was not comfortable, hard as a rock
4.0 Okay
Pros: The staff and workers were fabulous and professional. The food was good and the room was nice.
Cons: THEY BUILT THIS RESORT ON A FRAGILE ECO SYSTEM. The literally bulldozed down acres of precious mangrove to build this resort. Filling in the wetland and destroying the habitat in on an island is not acceptable. No matter how nice the resort, this was a horror to drive up and see. They also were spraying copious amounts of bug killer on what was left! All of that runoff goes straight out to the barrier reef which is a rare and precious thing too. I was heartbroken at the damage and what they are intending to do further. The people of the island are NOT happy about this at all and we are sad we spent our money with them.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful pool and restaurant area. The beach is spectacular but a 15 min boat ride away - well worth it. Great rooms.
Cons: The bugs are pretty bad so bug spray is needed. Value Of food and drinks much lower than seen elsewhere on the island. Not walking distance to outside restaurants.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing beach club
Cons: Location is farther from town
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Private Beach Staff was very accommodating and efficient
Cons: Mosquitoes are bad

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nicely maintained grounds. Staff all very nice and helpful!
Cons: Unit needed upgrading including furniture. Need a safe in the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great staff and comfortable rooms.
Cons: The constant smell of sewerage. There is no beach despite the photos showing the appearance of a beach.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful setting and amazing rooms. Very friendly staff.
Cons: A bit odd that although they serve breakfast from 7am to 4pm you cannot get a coffee after 11am!!
7.9 Good
Pros: It was a nice chill place to stay. Cute area and nicely set up. They staff was very friendly and attentive.
Cons: The restaurant was very limited and closed early. The sand flies or fleas but that’s not the property’s fault by any means.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and accommodating, grounds were well maintained, lovely pool!
Cons: Internet access not available throughout site, not the resorts fault, staff were super accommodating!
7.9 Good
Pros: Beautiful gardens and pool
Cons: The sea is not clean and there is a smell of sewerage
6.7 Good
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff Nice pool Good selection of food, or they try to make what you like.
Cons: Far from center town. Cleanliness of the apartment could be better. Account keeping when ordering food should be monitored better and guests asked to sign checks. They could have a free pickup service as many other hotels offer. Bikes offered were in bad condition

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Really well situated, and the staff is super helpful
Cons: Nothing it was very nice. If I would have known in advance for the free shuttle, it would have avoided a small trip under the rain until we found a taxi. (On our way in)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, comfortable, well equipped, good AC. Spacious room. Comfortable bed and pillows.
Cons: San Pedro town is not the nicest place but the Blue Tang is well situated and very clean and quiet.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great located and spacious rooms, super friendly staff.
Cons: It is a bit expensive if you want to rent a car at the hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very homey, plenty of space in suite, full kitchen, good breakfast, courteous and helpful staff.
Cons: TV signal was poor, could not watch a lot of the channels.
5.4 Okay
Pros: It was close to the ferry that took us to the island, so even though the hotel offered a free taxi, one could easily walk the distance. The breakfasts were good, with lots of fruit, coffee and local specialties. The pool was small but well taken care of.
Cons: Online we found nicer hotels in San Pedro with similar pricing. From now on, I will only book rooms with booking.com when the site says “refundable.”
10.0 Excellent
Pros: In town but on the quiet beach . The staff was friendly and very helpful in organizing snorkel trips
Cons: Slightly expensive for Belize but worth it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We just returned from our stay at Blue Tang Inn and we absolutely loved it! We stayed in Suite #2 and it was spacious and had everything we needed. The location is perfect, right on the beach and close to many nearby restaurants and bars. Germain and Roger were wonderful and made sure everything was taken care of for us including booking all of our tours, making dinner reservations, and even driving us to one of our tours. We will be definitely be staying here again when we return to the island and would recommend others do the same!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is clean, great location, security guard and feels very safe! Very accommodating staff!
Cons: Air conditioner broke the first night but was replaced right away, the night was comped- it was addressed super well by the staff!

Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available 24 hours).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views, room, staff, food, drinks were all first class and we can’t wait to come back. Oh, did I mention the drinks?
Cons: Not much to say here. The only thing that might have been better was the sea weed problem, but that’s not their fault. The crew worked tirelessly to keep it cleaned up, unfortunately, every morning it was back worse than the day before.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outside of The city. Nice and quiet, but still easily accessible. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Property is beautifully maintained. Food was fantastic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: i love the food, the view, the rooms, the staff and the bar. Hanging out whit the locals and the hotel was beatiful. The beach was beautiful and peaceful. I loved the service . I am returning with all my family.
Cons: Nothing Really. They ROCK
9.6 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I loved our stay at Portofino. The journey to get to the resort was organized and they had planned everything out conveniently despite our multiple delays in Miami. The staff remembered our names, were very polite and friendly, and went out of their way to help make our stay better. We went to the restaurant to eat not realizing they were closing and Marcello and the restaurant staff made sure we ordered what we wanted despite them needing to catch their water taxi home. Mo, Luis and Daniella were all wonderful. We both decided that we would like to go back ASAP. Also we really loved the orange juice with breakfast
Cons: The potholes were insane on the road outside of the resort. Some extra lighting in the public roads would be nice as well
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The cabana rooms are wonderful, very comfortable and large. The hotel is also very eco-friendly with no plastics or bottles. The pool is great and the view from the rooms are nice. The staff and owners are also extremely friendly and helpful, always wanting to chat and have a good time. This is not a huge resort so it was a much more private feeling and quiet atmosphere.
Cons: The location is WAY to far from town. You MUST rent a golf cart or pay USD 50 for a taxi one-way if you want to go outside of the hotel. We tried to walk but the mosquitos were horrible. The included continental breakfast is very small (toast and fruit), so we were forced to pay more for a proper breakfast. The restaurant is good, but not enough choice so we had to pay for a golf cart to go for dinner at other hotels or restaurants. Overall the place is nice, but next time we would choose to stay slightly closer to town so that getting around is easier.
4.0 Okay
Pros: All staff was extremely friendly and personable. Luis, Ivan, and Chocolate were fantastic.
Cons: Overpriced for the quality received. We stayed at multiple resorts over 2 weeks on the island and paid far less for better quality elsewhere. Pictures are edited and angled to change the room quality.

Pros: beautiful property, right on the beach within walking distance of several restaurants and dive shops
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Not overdeveloped and easy to get around
Cons: Mosquitos
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved how close Caye Casa was to everything, yet how quiet and relaxing it was amid being so close to town. I
Cons: Would have loved more recommendations on spots to try local cuisine versus typical tourist spots.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view of the ocean and close to everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. The location for me was perfect as I go fishing everyday with Hogzilla just 30 seconds walk from their dock. Lots of great fishing memories. Caye Casa keeps a very clean beach. Will return.
Cons: The only thing i could request is more freezer space to freeze fish.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They were able to keep the small stretch of the beach in front of the hotel free of sea grass, which provided amazing view from our room and from the heated pool. Don’t be discouraged by the size of the pool. It feels absolutely amazing, so do take a dip, you won’t regret it!
Cons: The shower was a bit weak, but hey, we were on vacation, it’s okay to take things slow.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were just outside of town so it was quiet, yet easy to get around.
Cons: One of the deciding factors for us was that it said it had breakfast. The breakfast was just coffee and bread.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The room was clean and well equipped.
Cons: The hotel was in front of the sea, but there is a car street between. The "beach" was always full of seaweeds, and for full I mean that it was impossible to bath or walk on the beach, and the smell was not pleasant, too. The staff was very good in not inform at all us in advance about the fact that the sea was unreachable and that that was not a temporary situation. The staff was terrible: the guy responsible for the "welcome" desk is totally rude, unprepared, insolent and not collaborative. The breakfast consists in few wrapped sandwiches in a plate in the office: you should go there, take one, prepare your soluble coffee and that's it. Considering how expensive this place is, the service was ridiculous and I would never suggest anybody to go there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Caye Casa is perfectly located - beach views, very quiet, and just close enough to restaurants and bars that you're never too far away from the action. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our room was bright and clean. Very happy!
Cons: Nothing - our stay was really lovely.
6.8 Good
Pros: Decent location, very helpful and friendly staff, good value. I would probably stay here again but it does take some knowledge to get around and find transportation.
Cons: I don't think the sheets were cleaned after the first day we were there, otherwise the staff did well. also, the bath and shower supplies werent automatically replaced although they were willing to do so when asked.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Private rooms were nice and affordable, the bar is one of the best on the island to escape the wind and sun but still enjoy the view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect right outside of the Palapa Beachbar and a quick walk into town for golf cart rentals, groceries, coffee and tons of food options.
Cons: The bed is not the most comfortable, but honestly after a day of activity you don't even notice!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect stay. The location is magical being right on the beach. The hostel is huge. There's 4 different chill out areas including a beautiful deck over the ocean. The staff are really nice, beds are comfy and it's in an amazing location. We were really sad to leave. Oh and the food at the restaurant was really good!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This was a great hostel. Great value for money. The location is right on the beach in a central area, can’t get better than that. They have their own dock to lounge on too which is great. The beds have curtains around them which is really nice for privacy. The staff were nice and helpful, always able to answer questions. There were quite a few people at the hostel while I was there so bathrooms got dirty quickly but someone cleaned everyday and did a good job. They had a hostel dinner night which was nice as well, good for solo travellers to meet people. Overall, this is one of the better hostels I’ve stayed in for the price.
Cons: The beds, like most hostels, could use an update. I could feel the springs pretty well so was a bit uncomfortable. The bathrooms had 3 showers but very few hooks (some were broken) so often there so no where to put hang your towel and the floor got dirty quickly despite someone cleaning everyday. Overall, still a great hostel with minor issues that more or less excepted of this kind of accommodation.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location and good value for money
Cons: We stayed at a private room and the bathroom (private) is located outside the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff greeted us with smiles and were very courteous of our long day. They allowed us to put our bags down, and told us they would be safe. We believed them as if they were our friends, I guess that's the vibe they gave off. The bartender didn't rob me when I tried paying American currency. The beds were super comfortable but the top bunks are for athletes only. The beach is literally in your bar. Great views. Awesome snorkeling right off the docks. Everything seems to be yours for the taking. No one told us we were where we shouldn't be, and we were obnoxiously every where. Don't swim past the socks, there's nothing to see and you'll die on the highway of boats. Dont get me wrong, there's a boat maybe every 2 minutes, but when your heads down.... If you're looking to save a buck, stay at the Snd Bar and walk into any of the expensive resorts and hotel bars you want. You can access all of them. Side note, a lot of the bars order food from sandbar!!!! I laughed when one of the workers from my hostel delivered my pizza to the bar down the street. The AC only turns on 9-9 but that climates you to the Caribbean weather which is so important when walking and biking the beaches. Don't pay more than 40 for a golf cart... Don't get one for more than a day. All you need is a bike and you'll be breaking speed limits, literally. Sorry golf art companies. you can reach most places via bike except the secret beach... It's a secret so you'll have to ask a local snitch. Everyone offers drugs at every corner. Not to kids that I saw, but to me, every f'ing corner, not at the hostel, this is downtown (lol, I'm trying to write a good review). The only way to get them to stop is to tell them you're a U.S. Cop. Worked for me anyways. Good luck and let go! You're on Vaca Cj
Cons: Everything I didn't like is a common trait in Belize. Sand bar seemed to me by get away from most of it though. They took care of their dogs.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice place on the beach with friendly staff. Comfortable beds with curtains and lockers under the bed. Free kayak rental and discounts in specific places.
Cons: I had a special request wich was confirmed written but arriving there no one knew about it. Expensive for low budget tarravellers but thats generally on the island. No keys for the room so everyone actually can walk in.
