By far the most relaxing hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Won’t stay anywhere else on my next trip.
Not a thing.
Clean, cute, quiet, and quaint. The room had everything we needed and the hosts were very helpful. There was a map that was so helpful traveling through the streets of San Juan. The ambiance of the Dreamcatcher is refreshing calm and peaceful. There are no TVs which contribute to the specialty of this place. Definitely recommend if your looking to stay somewhere outside the typical hotel experience, bc this boutique hotel is one of a kind!
I loved the helpful staff and community vibe. The best part though was how magical everything looked and felt - it seemed like a tropical secret garden!
Chef Jerome was amazing. The outdoor showers were different and an awesome experience. the zen music and overall vibes from the guest house were truly amazing and I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The dreamcatcher was like an oasis. I feel recharged and better overall after staying there for a few nights. Truly it is a unique and life changing experience!
The distance between our room and the bathroom was a bit far, especially in the middle of the night. You have to walk outside in the dark if you are staying in an artist room. But I guess bags apart of the whole experience.
Garden of Eden
This place is run by some buddhist (?) owners, so the atmosphere is very pleasant, peaceful and quiet. Guests have the possibility to take part in the community life (for example to join yoga lessons) but are not forced to anything. The only limitation is that if you want to use the kitchen, you are asked not to make meat as it is strictly vegetarian. The rooms are very well designed and very clean. The public spaces are also very nice and clean with a lot of trees, bushes, gekons and birds. As the house is in the gated community just one vlock from the beach, it is away from main traffic and therefore very quiet. We felt like in another world and did not mind at all that there are shared bathrooms only. I highly recommend to stay in this place if you want to rest.
The Dreamcatcher in San Juan is a boutique hotel, and it is the only vegetarian hotel located in the Ocean Park neighborhood. It has a great location that will put the guests just a short distance from places that they want to visit, including the beach. It has been rated the #1 hotel in Puerto Rock for four years in a row. The rooms and the suites located at the hotel have a wealth of features and amenities. All of the rooms are individually decorated, and they have free wireless Internet and portable fans, as well as AC. There are cotton sheets on the beds, and all rooms have access to a communal kitchen with assigned shelf space. Many of the rooms have private terraces, as well as desk space. Many of the suites and rooms have a private bath, but some have a shared bath. The facility has spa services, along with barbecue grills for the guests to use. It features a library, express check-in and check-out, a front desk area, free self-parking, dry cleaning and laundry service, and a restaurant. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available. This is a smoke-free property. Those who choose to stay at the facility will find that they are just a short distance from the beach, as well as a nearby park. There are plenty of places to explore and things to do in the area. It is also possible to find many places to dine in the area. Some of the options include Relax at Ocean Drive, Café Provi, and Cocobana.
