There was nobody at the front desk when I went to check in. Nobody answered when I called, and I was about to leave wondering how I would get my refund. But suddenly another guest came in and saved me. It should beuch easier to check in.

Guests say
Guests had mixed experiences at the hotel. Many appreciated the clean rooms and bathrooms, with several reviews highlighting the spotless condition and efficient housekeeping. The beds were frequently described as comfortable, and the location was considered convenient, especially for access to public transport and local attractions. However, some guests expressed concerns about the neighborhood's safety and cleanliness, as well as technical issues with the app-based check-in and room access. Service was generally viewed as adequate, though the lack of on-site staff and occasional communication difficulties were noted. Shared bathrooms were mostly clean and functional, though their size and the building's noise levels were sometimes criticized. Overall, the hotel was seen as a good value for budget travelers who prioritize cleanliness and location.AI-generated from customer reviews

Cons (-) Mission Street has a homeless presence and not awesome smells. Hang out around Valencia and problem solved. Do be cautious about walking after dark to the hotel door though.
