The concept is really cool, nice to hacve art all arround!
There is a bar downstaris and it is TOO noisy, I was there for the San Francisco Marathon and could not rest at all the night before the race; also, no A/C or fan. And the blinds let all the light trhu. We could listen to every move from other rooms
Beautifully decorated, friendly staff, wonderful location. I walked nearly everywhere! This boutique hotel has a lot to offer.
Very old building, so everything is small. I didn't mind, but I'm glad my mother didn't come (for example). No AC, only heater in room. It was safe to leave the windows open bc they opened out to the rest of the hotel and not the street.
Perfect location, very clean, overall better than expected for the price right downtown.
clean cleverly designed rooms, staff friendly and accommodating
first night room above the alley is not good....garbage trucks emptying bins at 0400hrs not so nice...but was moved to a better room upon addressing it with staff
