Cons (-) I didn't like the following The light in my bathroom was a timer that I couldn't control and would go off every 2hrs all night keeping me awake. The staff at checkout didn't even ask me how was my stay, did have good time, zero care for my experience. Poorly clean areas do to remodel, the whole place seems like a war zone at the moment.

Pros (+) Friendly staff, fantastic location and I was so pleased with the park-and-stay price that we got.
Cons (-) No pool, small room, no gym - although they will give you a discount at the YMCA next door.
Pros (+) The back of the hotel faces the Embarcadero and view of the Oakland Bay Bridge that lights up at night. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Complimentary coffee and tea in the morning an d water always available in the lobby.
Cons (-) Constant whirring noise all around the hotel didn't allow a good night sleep. One of the two elevators is under construction. Concierge must help with luggage since there are only stairs at both the front and back entrances.
Pros (+) The staff here made the San Francisco dream of an 80 year old birthday girl come true! A foreign friend had a dream to spend her 80th birthday in San Fran with the view of the Bay. The hotel staff took care of every detail including some bubbly, little cupcakes and a gorgeous hand written birthday card! Tears of joy were flowing when she got to the room and she hasn't stopped talking about it yet!...
