not the best place
Na
Not very clean, there was a plastic bag placed over the fire alarm when we got there. There was people outside our room banging on the door next to us for a long time.
up early
Staff was nice.. room was a room.
Did not like the drinks who kept making their car alarm go off at 2 AM. Free breakfast wasn't that great, but it was clean in the small breakfast room.
Staff at reception was incredibly unhelpful, rude, and spoke down to (and ignored) guests. Ice machine and vending machines are broken and evidence suggests they have been for awhile. Wifi does not reach all rooms. Technology is dated and walls/floors are very thin. We could hear everything happening outside and upstairs. Misleading name, no where near City Creek. Cheap quality everything. Regretted making an online reservation as soon as we go there- way overpriced for what it is.
stay away
Nothing
uncomfortable bed and pillow, thermostat intentionally disabled, pathetic breakfast, stained carpets, rundown
Overall is good
Cleanliness is good AC is cold For serving is quickly response (service is good)
Breakfast just few items/choices, so different with other Hotel with the same price but they have more choices
Urine-soaked sheets. Terrible night staff.
Location is good. Daytime staff seemed friendly.
When I climbed into bed after checking in for a two-day reservation, I slid into soaking wet sheets. Pulling back the covers revealed the unmistakable smell of urine. The front desk manager was completely unsympathetic and refused to apologize or provide any solution until I actively demanded one. He told me that people go in and out of the rooms all the time and there is nothing he can do to prevent it. My friend and I left immediately and slept in our car instead, since everything else in the area was booked. I returned the next morning to complain to the manager and was given the refund the night clerk had refused me, but I simply cannot be emphatic enough that no one should stay at this property. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and have never had such a terrible experience.
I liked that a refrigerator and microwave were in the rooom. Also liked that breakfast was offered.
My 11-year old son said the room smelled like a urinal. :( I needed to pull out the febreze and sprays that I could find just to be comfortable. Breakfast was offered, but selection was very limited.
Refrigerator froze the food. Air condition was very noisy. No shampoo was provided. Maybe forgot ???
Previous reviews are misleading
The staff was reasonably friendly and the cable TV was OK. Location was reasonably central in SLC.
You get half-working aircon/heating, beds have one sheet and a very thin blanket with cigarette holes (on both beds), hot water sometimes doesn't work and when it does it takes a while and it itches and dries your skin afterwards. The wifi unusable because it's so slow. The breakfast is coffee, way-too-sugary OJ, corn flakes or raisin bran, milk, bread, butter, or waffles (although the dough was poorly made and the waffles would never feel right). Would not recommend except as a quick cheap option.
Scary!!
The desk staff was pleasant.
The photos of the hotel does not accurately describe the facility. The place was run down and old. Lots of noise and heavy traffic in/out of the guests on both sides of me. I'm sure that illegal acticity of some type was taking place. While this facility certainly doesn't promote it as an option, I suspect that you could rent a room by the hour if requested. The room felt dirty and didn't appear to be all that clean. I didn't even feel comfortable sleeping under the sheet and bed spread so I actually slept with my clothes on as well as my coat and hood. My flight was delayed so I didn't arrive to the facility until after midnight and I was exhausted otherwise I certainly would've found more appropriate accommodations.
Not the best place ever, but clean and worth the p
Great wi-fi connection; in fact, I was able to stream videos with it. The room was clean. The bed didn't gross me out, so I guess that's good. Lots of TV channels.
Room was a little cold, but the heater worked well. However, the heater was very loud. The wake up call came in an hour early. I didn't appreciate that. I really could've used the extra hour of sleep.
Not kept ip...in need of repairs everywhere. Very loud music playong...we thought we were in Mexico.
