Overview

In the vibrant heart of Utah's capital, the SureStay by Best Western Salt Lake City Downtown makes a handy base in Salt Lake City, Utah, within easy reach of Temple Square and the mountains beyond. Downtown sights sit close at hand. The landmark spires of Temple Square rise about two and a half miles away, the Natural History Museum of Utah and the University of Utah anchor the east bench, and the Great Salt Lake shimmers to the northwest. When the snow falls, the world-class ski resorts of the Cottonwood Canyons lie a short drive up into the Wasatch. Recently renovated rooms give travelers a clean, comfortable place to rest, and a complimentary full breakfast opens the day with eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. A heated outdoor pool runs through the warm months, and free Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected. Downtown spires and canyon slopes together, Salt Lake City keeps it all within reach.

Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests had mixed experiences at the hotel. Many appreciated the comfortable beds and secure gated parking, with some noting the friendly staff and adequate breakfast. However, several reviews highlighted significant cleanliness issues, including dirty rooms and bedding, as well as concerns about the surrounding area and safety, particularly due to the presence of homeless individuals nearby. The location was considered convenient by some but disappointing or misleading by others. Overall, while some guests found positives in comfort and security, cleanliness and neighborhood concerns were recurring issues.
