Overview

At the crossroads of central Kansas where Interstates 70 and 135 meet, the Best Western Plus Midwest Inn & Suites makes a comfortable base in Salina, Kansas, a few miles from a lively downtown. Salina packs a surprising amount in. The Smoky Hill River Festival turns the riverfront into a summer celebration, the restored Stiefel Theatre hosts touring acts, and the tiny Cozy Inn has slung its famous sliders since 1922. Indian Rock Park offers trails and views, Lakewood Park draws disc golfers, and the Salina Community Theatre keeps the stage busy through the year with local productions. Spacious rooms and suites come with pillow-top mattresses, a flat-screen television, refrigerator, and microwave, and a complimentary hot breakfast opens the day. A business center and free Wi-Fi keep work moving, and a fitness area handles the rest. Right in the middle of Kansas, Salina turns a busy crossroads into a destination worth pausing for.
