The receptionist was lovely. The room facilities were excellent but to expected for the price.
The decor. For this to work it needed to be beach front.
Over rated - the property was rated as a 4 star, but few hotels of that caliber have astroturf for carpet in the balconies and hallways. I was glad they provided slippers.
Bed was comfortable. Location in walking distance of restaurants, shops and seafront.
No parking near the hotel. Had to park some distance away and wheel suitcases along pavements and across roads to the hotel. We had a room on the first floor, but there was no lift, which was a problem for my wife who has difficulty with stairs. In our room the toilet was separate from the bathroom and had no wash basin in it. Highly unsanitary. No bidet in the bathroom. On our first day we went out to walk around the village and came back at 2 pm with our lunch, only to find that our room had not been cleaned. We were in the middle of our lunch when the cleaner arrived and told us that we would have to stop eating and leave our room so that she could clean it. We refused, so that our room didn't get cleaned. When we complained at reception, a blazing row followed with no apology for the bad service. The hotel itself appears tired and in need of refurbishment. Our balcony had old astro turf, there were cracks in the walls and the plants looked half dead. Indeed outside by the swimming pool a whole tree and shrubs were dead. Our room overlooked the next door property which was most ugly and unsightly. Our bill for three nights was nearly €600, very poor value for money.
Excellent place to explore the Camargue from, and a very good breakfast.
Comfortable rooms with a patio Coffee machine in the room and also a teakettle was nice. We didn’t try the breakfast. Pool looked good but we didn’t use it. Good location close to the centre with a lot of restaurants.
Room could have been bigger and also the bathroom. Otherwise great!
