10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staying three nights in a suite at La Fiermontina was an exceptional experience that will stay in our memories for a long time. It is in the historic core of Lecce, a wonderful place for wandering and enjoying great restaurants. The hotel itself left impressions more memorable than dozens of hotels in historic European cities we've used over the past 25 years. There is thoughtful design and wonderful paintings and sculpture everywhere. The architecture harmonizes regional history with clean, modern design from the vaulted ceilings down to plumbing fixtures and light switches. Most of all, we felt the care, history, attention to detail, and the extra efforts to provide memorable experiences for the guests that clearly reflected the core values of this family owned and operated hotel.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Well received upon arrival with a coffee, biscuits and a short guide to the city while the porter parked the car and dealt with our luggage. Very helpful and polite staff. Dog friendly. Clean and spacious room. Great location to explore Lecce and to retire back in the evening. Excellent breakfast service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a very luxury relaxing resort with great modern decorated rooms. I loved the concept of the hotel. It worked really well!
Cons: The dinner in the pallazo was very disappointing regardless the gorgeous scenery and the rooms that we have seen in the pallazo. You pay for the setting of the dinner but the quality I would rate canteen food. You sold it as something fabulous but I would not recommend it to any guests. If you come to Italy and with the grandeur of your hotel you have to come with a better menu. The funny part of us that we ordered a very beautiful barollo with the meal and when the waiter opened the bottle he smelled and said very good. Then he try to serve the wine and he concluded that there was still a peace of the cork in the bottle so that whole spectical with smelling the cork and giving us a ok wink was just hilarious. Sorry to say but that night was the only night from my whole week where I have eaten the worst. ( glad the wine we choose was amazing )
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Personal touch of management
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a gorgeous property- with art everywhere you looked! The service was outstanding and the breakfast one of our favs in Puglia!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the art and the ambience
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location, serenity, beautiful interiors, excellent breakfast, luxurious bathroom, Evening treats, sympathetically restored gorgeous leccese stone.
Cons: The same wine from any bar in Lecce is 1/3 of the price as in the resort. I don’t mind paying more as the surroundings are gorgeous but 3x is a bit much. A very small thing, the rest of our stay was fabulous.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best hotels I ever stayed at, surrounded with beautiful art. Deluxe room was super spacious and comfortable. Their attention to detail is on another level.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful hotel on the edge of the historical centre of Lecce, which is a fabulous place, well worth a visit. We had a lovely room, but there was a slight issue and we were moved to another lovely room without hesitation. Delicious breakfast and good food in restaurant. Staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful at all times. Secure parking for our car. An oasis in a city environment and within easy walking distance to all sights in the historic centre and other restaurants if necessary.
Cons: Only possible thing might be that a buffet breakfast would be perhaps quicker and less wasteful. Or at least maybe a good idea is to ask guests what they would like for breakfast and to provide that, thus avoiding unnecessary wastage. Another small thing is that the hotel is not easy to find and although they provide directions, it would help if these directions said, in capital letters and underlined in red, not to follow the satnav right at the last turn before the hotel. Otherwise, although not a cheap option, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Cons: Nothing to complain!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the service was pleasant and fun. Location was ideal for visiting the old city of Lecce.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room, amazing location and adorable staff! The room is clean and you have access to an amazing terrace. Much recommanded!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was served on the terrace - with view on historical Lecce - and was really excellent. The owner is friendly and hospital, and has tips to park your car in the neighborhood for free.
Cons: -
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner is a lovely and warm person. Her breakfast is good and the balcony where you're having it, is lovely. The rooms are basic, but clean
Cons: This is a lovely place, but the steep and narrow stairs should be mentioned. We could not carry our suitcase up the two steep stairs and ended up leaving it in the car over night. Thankfully, it was still there the next day..... Furthermore, DO NOT RELY on google maps but leave your car outside the historical center
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast on the terrace, friendly staff, spacious and comfortable room
Cons: A little noisy at night but that is to be expected in a central location

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The historical character of the hotel.
Cons: Need to walk into town for restaurants. This is ok in good weather, but as there is no shelter it was uncomfortable in rain. (Appreciated the hotel umbrella but shoes suffered)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: But, therefore, it is very quiet and calm atmosphere at the hotel. Let me say, here is the best balance for visitor who want to enjoy both city sightseeing and relaxed hotel stay. Hotel itself is really fantastic. Old castle atmosphere makes vistiors feel to be in the medieval times. The beautiful courtyard was decorated with illumination - it was very romantic scenary. Breakfast was also wonderful. We could enjoy slightly different choices including a nice scrambled egg. We were absolutely happy to stay, it was one of the best hotel in Lecce. Hope I can come back here.
Cons: The hotel location is a little bit far from the old town center(10 to 13min walk).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great, the selection of options was good and the barista coffee was perfect. They speak strong cuppacino! Our room was very spacious, well appointed and didn't require anything further.
Cons: The experience was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well located, walking distance from historical center and easy access to the main highway if travelling by car. This palace is full of history. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There are various places where you can relax in it's outstanding grounds. They do hold functions but during our 4 night stay all where finished on our return from dinner in the town center. Only 9 rooms makes for a friendly atmosphere. A great breakfast with plenty of variety .... and eggs :-) The perfect place to discover Lecce and it's surrounding towns
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: Hotel is located about 1km from the city centre and is set in some historical buildings including an old tower. We really liked the roof top terrace. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking was easy and relatively cheap in a public car park 2 minutes walk from the entrance.
Cons: Rooms were comfortable but character didn't match the setting or other communal areas.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It's such a beautiful property and perfectly located within walking distance of the old town. We really love it! Its the second time we stayed but clear that it was low season.
Cons: I felt they could have made more of an effort for the guest staying in terms of cosy seating areas - consider lighting, music etc. Not restaurant or bars although the staff where super helpful and served us anyways
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a lovely stay at the hotel. Everything was lovely . Great staff. Very helpful. Great breakfast. Super bedroom.

7.9 Good
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Room was not to our taste.Very ordinary furniture, with no style and bathroom was not good.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely experience overall! Great location, beautiful house, friendly host, comfortable room.
Cons: Breakfast at a nearby cafe could be a little richer (nice orange juice and coffee, but just a single small pastry to go with it).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location, Big room, friendly staff. It's like dreaming in a palace, in fact, it's a palace
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: New and nicely done (la Stanza del Duomo) we were moved from Palazzo Belli to their other property due to an unexpected structural problem (very old and beautiful building). Both are in the heart of old Lecce...very beautiful spot.
Cons: Room was very small and shower almost unusable but it was nicely designed/decorated., and it also had a beautiful outside area. The owner, Mauro was a delightful person but totally under it...working very hard to correct the Palazzo Belli problem...he did book us a shuttle to the airport. I would assume when everything is worked out this will be a very nice place to stay (La Stanza del Duomo) There was no staff on site
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable facilities, excellent location, fast WiFi and charming staff.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Thoughtful and kind host - great room with balcony, comfy bed, efficient a/c, hot shower - plentiful breakfast. Fantastic location in the heart of the historic centre overlooking Church.
Cons: Nothing.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location,
Cons: Stairs to rooms
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of this Palazzo, overlooking a busy, pedestrian-only street, couldn't be better if you enjoy people watching from the balcony and being entertained by very good street musicians in the evening. It is at the centre of this historic city so everywhere you would want to visit is within easy walking distance. Breakfast at a nearby caffe was typically Italian- sweet pastry and coffee with fresh orange juice.
Cons: The bathroom could do with some updating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, 20 foot ceilings, large room
Cons: We liked everything about it
7.1 Good
Pros: Location was in the center of Lecce, so not reachable by car, which is not necessarily a bad thing, yet also not convenient. The owner was very helpful and you will need to call him in advance.
Cons: A bit of a stretch to say that breakfast was served in the room. You basically have access to prepacked foods; so nothing fresh. Would definitely recommend they make some kind of modern coffee machine available.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is very central, just steps to the main square. The apartment was large and spotless clean. Complimentary soap, shampoo etc provided. We were traveling in January - the heating was sufficient and the apartment was nicely warm. Really nice breakfast - choice of scones, cakes, but also rolls, cheese, salami, youghurt, fresh fuits, coffee, tea and juices. The host advised on what to see or where we can have some good meal.
Cons: Nothing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good, central location with spacious accommodation including modern bathroom. Good coffee made by friendly, helpful staff. Good, budget accommodation; just don't expect a palazzo.
Cons: There was no outlook at all from our room. Only an interior courtyard which looked out over the roofs of the shops below. Several non functional appliances in the room i.e. lights with nowhere to plug them in. Lack of available sockets. Nowhere to sit outside other than one small breakfast table on small balcony.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff's attention and room upgrade. Location is great! Amazing pasticciatas (local cakes) in nearby pastries shop (right around the corner). Old city at night is very charming. Breakfast was all right. Had some fruits in it and some cheeses, which was good.
Cons: Not all double rooms have the view on the main square, which may confuse if you look at the photos of double rooms. If city view is required (and it actually is) need to go for suites. House is not oldstyle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. The host has made by herself home made delicious breakfast. She was extremely kind. The location was also perfect. I am absolutely satisfied.
Cons: I have not any remarks
10.0 Excellent

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful quirky property big enough for a family of 4.shower in the cave was unusual. Breakfast was good although I couldn't work the coffee pot. Location was perfect for exploring lecce
Cons: Musty smell to the property. Wondered if it was because the whole place was built in stone. We saw a huge cockroach in the property was told it came in out of the rain lol. It hid away and never bothered us for the rest of the evening. Parking a nightmare but found 24hr stay carpark eventually €10 via adua
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay! Very cozy! The owner and housekeeper were very helpful. Good location in old town.. we took a tours around the coast which was wonderful. Leece is a good central place to stay if you want to explore the coastal areas of the heel. Which I would recommend. It was beautiful!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely perfect and cozy. Best location you could ask for!
Cons: Loved everything!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Antoneta was a wonderful host. She and the maid who cleaned the apartment daily were so friendly and accommodating. Antoneta provided freshly home baked regional cakes daily, and even provided us with a hot Lecce breakfast cake one morning. The room was very atmospheric with a double vaulted ceiling, and the furnishings fitted well with the rustic vibe to the place. The bed was very comfortable and there was a little sitting area outside to relax with a book. The apartment was within the old town and just a few minutes walk from the main attractions, shops and restaurants.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Very disappointing. People will not believe me here. You have to understand that we are from Canada and are really kind and accommodating people, we have travelled all around the world and have no problem accomodating the owners if an issue happens. My boyfriend and I payed for the 4 bed room place x 2 nights. First one went without and issue. The next day the owners came to us at 11am saying that there were some water issues therefore we had to leave the room ASAP bc the room had to be empty as some emergency work would have to be done. It’s fine until there. After moving to a cheaper room we realized a few hours later that our first room was rented to another family ! Thanks to booking.com who are helping us sort this out as We obviously want part of our money back (they only offered to pay the 8eu tax as a compensation), as their website is false they do not speak English therefore having a conversation about it was impossible. But basically they are being extremely disrespectful now and pretend that we have an adjustment issue and treat us like crazies. Are blaming me for taking pictures of their rooms as they are lying to booking.com saying that our first room is empty at the moment when actually a family is right now in it! When booking.com is actually the one asking for the pictures as proofs ... very very inappropriate service, they probably did that to rent another room to make more money. It’s not even about the money here but about simple respect, plus the fact that the owner just sent me a load of insults via email as I needed that during my vacation. We never complained about anything in our past 15 years of vacation and this is a first. A simple apology and admitting that you guys were wrong on this one would have been nice enough. It’s not even about the money but about simple respect here. If I were you guys I would stay away from this place . It’s unfortunate bs the place is actually nice. But not a nice attitude unfortunately.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: We had a nice time here. Parking was facilitated with a residents' pass, room was nice, wifi was great.
Cons: breakfast was ok, bed a little too soft, even for me. Did not accept credit cards. We otherwise had a great time here.

Pros: Excellent location, very close to Piazza Sant’Oronzo and to the main attractions. Immaculately clean rooms. The beds were very comfortable and we could choose our pillows from a pillow menu (the Orthocervical was the best!). The breakfast offered hot and cold options for all tastes. The cappuccino was very good and made to order.
Cons: Staff were more geared up to catering for business guests as opposed to leisure travellers, so the hotel had a more corporate feel to it.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all really helpful and friendly

Cons: Hard to get to hotel by car. GPS did not work near location. However heard staff on phone very gracious about helping people get there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location could not be better. Right in front of the duomo and Jewish museum. Steps away from main square with many many great choices to grab lunch and dinner. Service!!!!! Truly those guys went beyond their duties. The reception (man with color glasses) thank you for wonderful wonderful suggestion to have lunch AND DINNER. Both walking distance and both excellent choices. Your knowledge of the city and what it has to offer are exceptional. Morning breakfast RICH not only by choices but also both servers were friendly, fast, and always ready for us with the caffeine shots to take with us for morning walk with our little four legged man. Many times I felt like they dropped everything what ever they were doing just attend to us. Truly wonderful stuff! It is true, it is not about the hotel but the people that make you feel at home when not at home. THANK YOU!
7.0 Good
Cons: Heating/AC did not work properly.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a luxury hotel in the midst of the historic area on a small and charming Square. Our room had a large balcony overlooking the Cathedal across the Square. Gourmet breakfasts and terrific staff. A lovely hotel, albeit expensive!

Cons: I would have appreciate something new and surprising for breakfast every day. Every morning the same choices, became dull after a week. Not a smart choice if you don't have a car at your disponsal, there are no means of public transport whatsoever to the city or anywhere else.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent even though at times a little fraught due to a coach tour being at the hotel. Staff in every department could not have been more welcoming and if I return to Lecce I will definitely stay here. Although outside it was hot the airconditioning on low in the bedroom made it comfortable for sleeping and at night the hotel was very quiet.
Cons: There is nothing about this hotel I would wish to criticise. All of the staff especially on reception and in the breakfast room made us feel very at home and welcome.
7.9 Good
Pros: Spacious room, cleaned every day. Good shower. Efficient, helpful & polite reception. Secure parking on site at 10 euros per day
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel, 10min walking to city center, most of it was renewed, room with enough space and good breakfast
Cons: I was not informed about a renovation in the building next to the hotel where they started to work at 7am and was very loud.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, spacious hotel. An easy 15 minutes walk to the main sights of Lecce. Staff were great, loved the rooms and the location. Would recommend it and stay again!
Cons: The beds were very hard.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location great all very decent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, historical setting.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in this B&B for 10 days. Proximity to all landmarks- location is in the historical part of Lecce. Staff was very helpful. My suite was spacious and very clean, the building is beautiful and well maintained. Communication with the owner went well.
Cons: The stove did not work, the owner responded quickly, but the repairs took few days as he was away on family matters. So I could not make coffee in the morning as there was only a coffee maker for the stove, a kettle was provided at the time when the stove was repaired. The access to the beautiful garden would be appreciated!
7.5 Good
Pros: It was very clean, comfortable bed, ok bathroom, ok features (soap, slippers, ...). Location is amazing.
Cons: The glimpse we had of the other rooms seemed great. This review only concerns our room. The place is great but if you can, ask for another room than the one with the terrace on the roof, called the ‘Campanile’. For us, it felt disappointing, as it was kinda dark and did not match the pictures we had seen. The bathroom was with vintage orange decoration and the terrace didn’t have any seat or table, only a few cactus, in other words not very useful. The staff did not speak English, therefore making it difficult to communicate. We were bothered twice by the cleaning lady, without notice. The keys must be inserted in the wall in order to enable electricity but the plug is lit with a bright blue light impossible to turn off during the whole night. There are noisy airconditioning and water-tanks on the roof next to the bathroom. Overall it did not ruin our stay but did not meet our expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the character of the apartment and the fact it was so close to many attractions in Lecce.

Pros: Great selection for a vegetarian
Cons: Nothing
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice staff, great breakfast, large rooms.
Cons: We once had an expensive pair of shoes stolen in this hotel, right out of our closet, right after we checked out, but still we came back. (Never received an apology, nothing.) This time, there were no curtains in the bathroom window. You're 100% exposed to the offices on the other side of the street. They let us change rooms (we were moved to a smaller room). The room was blazing hot. 'Call the reception if you want it colder.' We called the reception 'You can do it yourself.' Still, the room remained hot. You need to have a degree in engineering to control the lights and the shower. And for the first time after having stayed here about five times, out of the blue, they asked us to pay €15 for parking the car. Weird, weird hotel, I tell you.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: The breakfast ( diversity and more choices) can be improved.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is wonderful, spacious and comfortable room, large bathroom and shower/tub, perfect location within a 5 minute walk of most attractions in the old city. Breakfast buffet was extensive, delicious and included in room price.
Cons: Everything was great.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner of this B&B is an amazing gentleman, absolutely nothing is too much trouble. Customer service far exceeding anything you would reasonably expect. I would not stay anywhere else in Lecce and would recommend this B&B to everyone.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The only thing to recommend this b&b is the location, within the old town, very close to central streets, churches, cathedral and restaurants.
Cons: Stained, worn out towels, smelt dirty/mildewy. Bathroom and bedroom had not been cleaned - floors dirty, furniture dusty, stains around sink. Bed incredibly uncomfortable, very hard pillows. Old, noisy air conditioning. ‘Breakfast’ was a selection of small individually wrapped, clearly cheap biscuits and cakes. The most expensive B&B I stayed in during my holiday travelling round Puglia by a long way, and by far the worst value for money.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location and Francesco is an exceptional host, went above and beyond
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is great as well as the hostess
Cons: WI is weak
5.4 Okay
Cons: There was no parking spot as I was promised we had to park on the street and pay, the owner only mentioned that once we had finally met him. We selected a check in time of 3 but The owner wouldn’t check us in until 6 pm and didn’t inform us of that until we were already in the city. so we had to wait for hours just to get in to put our bags and he complained to me about other guests during check in.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fracesco was extremely helpful and friendly and informative . He kindly treated us to local pastries which were delicious. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked very well. Plenty of storage space and a good bathroom. The location is excellent.
Cons: The shower door was small for my husband who is 16 Stone. He had to squeeze himself in and out! I was fine. The sliding doors didn’t open enough for him. That’s all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous breakfast both mornings
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good, clean place, perfect for staying a night. No problems.
