The most wonderful setting. Quiet, surrounded by magnificent palms and cypress trees, woodlands, golf course etc. A fair breakfast, balcony (although unlit!) good minibar/fridge, spotlessly clean, ample (free) parking. Large swimming pool - although unheated. Extremely comfortable large bed. Effective airconditioning throughout. Excellent access. nicely decorated.
Tea/Coffee facilities totally absent. One toaster at breakfast and even that only half-working. Not all the staff cracked a smile. Swimming pool water directly piped from the Arctic. No shower curtains and bath-sides only mountaineers could climb over. A hair drier on such a short cord you could only use if you bent over double. Sink tap you could not get your hands under for a proper wash. Worst of all, an enclosed en-suite toilet with NO ventilation whatsoever. (Hard to believe, let alone imagine. - Best not to try!) The advertised wifi signal was extremely poor and ran at a speed reminiscent of the bad old dial-up days rendering contact with the outside world, family or work effectively impossible. Nobody was willing or able to help with that. No maps of the Cote d'Azure at Reception. The TV in the room was the size of a postage stamp; about the cheapest model available but no English stations available, so useless anyway unless you are French. All in all, it seems not quite thought-through for a modern hotelier with well travelled international clientele. These are basics today and mostly inexpensive to put right.
The staff were friendly and the room was fine.
Corridor was dirty, dinner was overpriced and slow, meagre serving and not very good. The bathroom had two long black hairs on the floor ... Definitely over priced and in serious need of new carpets near the dining room.
The swimming pool
We couldn’t eat at the restaurant of the hotel. The restaurant is limited to all inclusive booking .
Poor WiFi breakfast is to expensive hotel needs to be refurbished
Location was perfect opposite to the beautiful golf course. Breakfest is nearly perfect. It only lacks the possibility to get freshly cooked omelette or fried egg.
Unfortunately, it takes about 20 min drive to reach the motorway A8.
