Pros: Such a lovely hotel, with very nice people! We would definitely return to spend a few more days there. It feels like home!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and quiet family run hotel close to the seafront. Can’t praise enough the fiendliness of the staff! Within a walking distance from the hotel there is a commercial center of Port Santa Lucia with lots of restaurants and a grocery store. In addition, Hotel is only 5 mins drive away from St Raphael. We liked the buffet breakfast, which was available between 7:30-10:30am. You can also have drinks between 11am - 9pm at the lobby or in the garden. Our room was nice, cosy and clean with sea/garden view on top floor. All rooms are provided with noise proof windows. In case you need a parking place hotel offers private parking for its guests by request only (limited amount of places). We loved it here and will definitely be back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Cons: I had the impression that booking had my room paid ahead but no I had to pay in euros at the hotel
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely family run hotel providing excellent value for money. Although this was only a standard room in a 3 star hotel we had everything we needed: safe, fridge, comfortable bed, water, facilities to make a hot drink. We paid 11€ for breakfast on the terrace which was excellent value in an idyllic setting. There is a beautiful cove 150 yards from the hotel.
Cons: Nothing really. Bath robes, body lotion and English breakfast tea would have been nice but to be honest for the price we already had more than we expected. The hotel has no restaurant so perhaps a bit more information about local establishments but we found somewhere easily enough.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It’s a beautiful “ Maison de Provençe’ the breakfast is really good. And the staff attention, I think they own the house, is flawless. The room is stylish and elegant.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, good value. Parking is free street parking across the street. Hot water pot. A few restaurants walking distance.
Cons: Do not disturb sign was placed on door but room was still entered and cleaned. We were there for 2 nights and did not feel that a cleaning was needed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very clean and cozy. It’s not big but it’s ok . Good Service and staff are very friendly and accommodating. They address any concerns and request of the guest. The property has their own parking area so it’s very safe . I am recommending this hotel especially those who wants to have a peaceful and safe to stay in. They also have a mini jacuzzi , you can use in case you want. It was very relaxing. Happy to stay in this hotel and in case I’ll be back in the area, I prefer to stay here again and try their food for next time
Cons: The location is bit far from gare to those who don’t have their own car or motorcycle but for those who have their own transportation, the area is easy to find.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast. English speaking friendly staff. Comfortable room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quaint hotel a few minute drive to the main beach. Loved the gated parking, and back court area. Very clean and the property was well maintained.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hotel with very nice people. Clean rooms, we had also breakfast, where we ciuld choose from various foods. The hotel is really close to the beach, restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our staying there.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view from the room was great, the room was meticulously clean, the beds were soft, the reception was well mannered and clear in the explanations.
Cons: The view and the reception were excellent and the cleaning was accurately done!
7.5 Good
Pros: It's a nice hotel with very friendly stuff. A good option to enjoy the beach and explore the area, including also Saint Tropez without paying for overpriced hotels (just drive to Sainte-Maxime and take the ferry which runs all night in high season). The hotel has a private parking (although it's very tight) and is just across the street from a nice sand beach good for swimming.
Cons: The room was very small (luckily we had a lovely balcony) and the shower was not as clean as we would have wished. The breakfast option for 10 Euro while cheap wasn't really worth it for us - we would have preferred to organize it our selves but without a refrigerator in the room...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The stay was great, the room comfortable for the price. The service and location were excellent!
Cons: The breakfast was ok but it was busy and there was not enough cooked food to keep up with demand.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, great location and nice breakfast
Cons: Nothing
Overview Reviews
Azure blue, pure white and ochre red are the colours celebrated in this hotel perched on the water’s edge, close to the Esterel, where holidays are experienced to the rhythm of the sea and the sunlight. On a Mediterranean beach, in a preserved natural environment opposite the Ile d’Or, between the pine and tamarisk trees, the Hôtel Les Roches Rouges benefts from a Fifties Modernist design. To step into Les Roches Rouges is to step out of the world and to delight in the pleasures of Provence, its favours and fragrances. Here, you can enjoy long days in the sunshine, pamper yourself, savour the passing hours, and taste the simple yet sophisticated joys of a holiday on the coast, the outdoor life, in a barefoot paradise. To stay at this hotel is to take your time, to enjoy the company of the people you love, to take time out for yourself, to party, to discover new things, or to do as much or as little as you please. In short, to enjoy a holiday.

The pool area is one of the highlights, with the salty sea pool and the entrance to the sea directly just very nice and special. We liked it a lot. We didn’t tried the restaurant there but the breakfast was very good. Thumbs up and a big thank you to the complete hotel team. We will come back for sure !

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marc and Nadine were the most wonderful and friendly hosts. They went that extra mile and more to help with problems of sorting out a hire car, recommending restaurants and booking them for us, suggesting places to visit and even lending us their Tom Tom to help with navigation! The breakfasts were a feast to look forward to every morning and we could not have wished for a more comfortable, relaxing and thoroughly spoiling week, all thanks to Marc and Nadine. We shall be recommending Lou Groumandige to our friends (especially those who play golf as there are many excellent golf courses close by).
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: All of it. The beautiful historic property is simply gorgeous and well maintained. It is in a residential neighborhood and surrounded by a lovely garden with a private pool. There are multiple terraces for having breakfast or drinks and the mulberry trees provide shade. They are beautiful trees. The staff is superb and far exceeded our expectations. The room we had was large with a view of the Mediterranean and the gardens and pool (#8). We did not want to leave! Highly suggest you go to their website and contact Pascal, the Director who is very knowledgeable and can give you great tips on what to do in the area. He will also book you direct and save you a bit on fees.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Totally loved the flair of the villa, the excellent and super friendly service, the pool, the cosiness of the room and the view.
Cons: If there is one thing that is below the optimum, it's the WiFi. One idea to improve: put a coffee/Nespresso machine in every room. Everything else is really great!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The building and the terrace
Cons: The twin beds
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet location. The staff were wonderful more so Elisabeth and Pascal. Nothing was too much for them. Will definitely come back.

Cons: -
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our first travel with a 10-month old baby, great availability of staff and friendly welcome
Cons: If i need to mention something, it would be the noise of the road when at the pool, however not a real issue either
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent. Friendly, attentive and helpful. The hotel is a beautiful old house. Very comfortable. The manager at the desk is amazing! Not only is she multi lingual, she is very attentive to the guests. An asset to the hotel.
Cons: The grounds, the pool, could use some professional work on a permanent basis. The hotel has so much potential. We stayed when there weren't many guests, but if the hotel is much fuller, the hotel needs a larger staff to clean and make sure the guests are treated as we were.
6.7 Good
Pros: the building is simply beautiful, location is good, the staff was nice. So in these areas there were no problem at all in my opinion.
Cons: What we did not like was the bed, not able to relax in it. then some small things missing, like good towels, the honesty bar was empty, you had to order everything the day in advance etc. it is so close to be perfect this hotel.

Cons: The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were not good.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: The equipment in the fitness room was very dated.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing villa. Nice luxury furniture, sun beds, jacuzzi on balconies and even 2 at the territory, infinity pool, territory. It’s very calm place, silence everywhere. Even when the villa was fully booked it was so quiet. Perfect place to relax. Sea view is picturesque. Food is delicious, so fresh. Some stuff were too friendly and nice, mostly who work at the reception (all reception stuff were the best, nice team), besides stuff who meet you and show the facilities, a waiter at the summer restaurant is very good girl.
Cons: Some stuff are not client oriented for such a luxury villa and 5*. One employee didn’t say hello during the whole stay when I came in to the villa, only after me. He just ignored. Housekeeping need to clean jacuzzi better (not even clean the water and leaves, but outside as well, corpus). Quite difficult to call to reception or to order the food. Once it was not working at all (no service at the iPad, all calls to reception are made via iPads in the room), or they just don’t answer when I called.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Landscape, Room and Staff
Cons: Not enough electrical plugs in the room
5.4 Okay
Pros: Nice sea view from the room
Cons: Too close from the noisy road, small rooms, no intimacy, no beach access!!!!! Service is not up to 5 stars hotels standards. 700€ or so per night is so overpriced, honestly I wouldn’t pay more than 300€ per night max for the overall experience, and I would not advise the place to my friends or 5 stars hotels travelers.
6.7 Good
Pros: On the water, sporting facilities right there, beautiful grounds, homely.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was all spaced out so you wasn’t on top of each other and didn’t feel too busy.

Pros: awesome staff
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Calm and very beautiful
Cons: Clear

7.9 Good
Pros: The location was great for someone like me arriving at the port in a boat but wanting a fresh water pool to cool off in and an air conditioned room to sleep in for the night instead of a stuffy cabin. The port itself is great fun with loads of restaurants.
Cons: Did not have breakfast as thought it was overpriced.

A stay at Hotel Le Prado de St Raph places you in the heart of Saint-Raphael, within a 10-minute walk of Frejus Beach and Saint-Raphael Beach. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to the city centre and facilities. Easy to negotiate your way from the hotel.
Cons: No fridge or kettle to make your coffee. Room was a bit small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Very clean and good location. Great price
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is absolutely idea. I knew St Raphael quite well and knew this would allow me access to the beach, the port, the city centre... For the price, the quality is excellent. The room was all renewed and clean, and staff was lovely. Wifi was a bit slow but we still managed to watch some Netflix at the end of the day, so nothing too bad!
Cons: Obviously the hotel is quite small but that just makes it cute and cozy - I would say the only negative is the stairs. If you can't walk up stairs it would be difficult to stay there.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff, good price/ quality ratio, good location
Cons: Only 1 electric socket in the room is not enough.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very kind staff makes their best to allow an early check in.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money. Great location. Very friendly staff. Clean room.
Cons: A kettle with complimentary tea / coffee in the room would be desired.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was central to the things we wanted to see. It was also quiet, which was nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The hotel room was a bit dingy. The carpet was old and needed to be replaced. The shower and bathroom were small, which is to be expected in a European hotel, though.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Owner and staff were so helpful. Location is excellent for access to dining, the town and station.
Cons: The winding staircase needs a railing on the outside of the stairs. The railing is on the inside but because the staircase curves the steps are too narrow to use. The wider steps are to the outside of the staircase but there is no railing.
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was delicious.
Cons: The room didn't have a waste basket.

Pros: Breakfast was great. Staff was friendly. Checking in procedure was weird. I received emails that reception wasn't staffed and didn't get responses to my queries. It turned out to be fine. I didn't have to wait long. All in all a good experience.
Cons: Check-in procedures.
5.4 Okay
Pros: When we arrived there’s no one. So we must call the number. However the bathroom is not like photos on booking it’s a little dirty and very old I don’t like that. If you want to stay at saint Raphaël I think that you can find better hotels at same price more or less! I’m sorry but I don’t like this place.
Cons: The bathroom. Terrible.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice spot and feel of the hotel
Cons: Parking unsecure.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice breakfast served by very kind staff. Great place to stay for people who aren’t interested in staying in an overpriced and fancy location.
Cons: Our room had a very foul smell, but opening the windows helped.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly and wonderful breakfast
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Showers and toilets “squeezed” in. “Thin” room dividers. Dodgy workmanship. A light switch fizzed when I turned it on. No member of staff there to meet me when I arrived despite being within the stated reception opening hours.

5.4 Okay
Pros: The staff were friendly and the room was fine.
Cons: Corridor was dirty, dinner was overpriced and slow, meagre serving and not very good. The bathroom had two long black hairs on the floor ... Definitely over priced and in serious need of new carpets near the dining room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything I checked above is why I so liked my stay. The location is why I chose the hotel, and, it is perfect for visiting other near by villages for day time travels.
7.5 Good
Pros: The most wonderful setting. Quiet, surrounded by magnificent palms and cypress trees, woodlands, golf course etc. A fair breakfast, balcony (although unlit!) good minibar/fridge, spotlessly clean, ample (free) parking. Large swimming pool - although unheated. Extremely comfortable large bed. Effective airconditioning throughout. Excellent access. nicely decorated.
Cons: Tea/Coffee facilities totally absent. One toaster at breakfast and even that only half-working. Not all the staff cracked a smile. Swimming pool water directly piped from the Arctic. No shower curtains and bath-sides only mountaineers could climb over. A hair drier on such a short cord you could only use if you bent over double. Sink tap you could not get your hands under for a proper wash. Worst of all, an enclosed en-suite toilet with NO ventilation whatsoever. (Hard to believe, let alone imagine. - Best not to try!) The advertised wifi signal was extremely poor and ran at a speed reminiscent of the bad old dial-up days rendering contact with the outside world, family or work effectively impossible. Nobody was willing or able to help with that. No maps of the Cote d'Azure at Reception. The TV in the room was the size of a postage stamp; about the cheapest model available but no English stations available, so useless anyway unless you are French. All in all, it seems not quite thought-through for a modern hotelier with well travelled international clientele. These are basics today and mostly inexpensive to put right.
6.3 Good
Pros: The swimming pool
Cons: We couldn’t eat at the restaurant of the hotel. The restaurant is limited to all inclusive booking .
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Soulless & some members of staff were incredibly unpleasant. There are better hotels in the immediate area & there are better locations. Would I recommend that anyone stays here? Emphatically no.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A delightful well located hotel with quiet spacious rooms and large lswimming pool. Superb location on edge of golf course
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect for relaxation, playing golf and walking in the pine forest
Cons: Bed is too hard and employees partly show arrogance in behavior. Dinner is not to recommend.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is in a green area and the staff is really kind
Cons: It's a little far from the sea and you need a car to move
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: Poor WiFi breakfast is to expensive hotel needs to be refurbished
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was perfect opposite to the beautiful golf course. Breakfest is nearly perfect. It only lacks the possibility to get freshly cooked omelette or fried egg.
Cons: Unfortunately, it takes about 20 min drive to reach the motorway A8.
6.7 Good
Pros: very spacious room, nice mini spa area. good location
Cons: breakfast was overpriced
7.0 Good
Pros: We were very happy with the friendlines particularly of the staff at the restaurant.
7.3 Good
Pros: We were on honeymoon and as i know France fairly well, avoided the tourist traps of the sea front - we ate where the French people eat - I would advise anyone with a hire car to go to Mons and arrive in time for lunch. Food in the region incredible. Best Western has short game area and driving range which whilst were not in great condition made up for it by being next to hotel. golf course great for beginner golfers.
Cons: Pool is not suitable for lap swimmers as is too small - apart from this reviews on web are good and fair. For golfers - i am 10 handicap and have to say the golf courses i tried were more than ok scenery-wise but were in poor condition for better golfers. Eg, Nearby Estel greens were great but fairways just mud. (in fairness they did heavily discount so i didn't mind and used it as hitting off mud practise!!)
6.7 Good
Pros: I really liked the location next to a golf course and therefore far from the hectic lie of the seaside
6.0 Good
Pros: Swimming pool, service, restaurants, rooms with balcony, cleanliness, etc. We can definitely recommend this hotel.
Cons: It is too far from the beaches to walk
7.6 Good
Pros: Nice and friendly atmosphere. Spacious clean room and nice terrace.Good breakfast. Evening diner good value for money. Centrally locateed for beach, Esterel mountains and Saint Raphael down town.We will certainly come back here

Pros: Location Outside terrace
Cons: No air conditioning
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Location of the hotel is superb, ample parking, lovely staff and just across the road from the beautiful beach of Agay. There are plenty of amenities close by, all within walking distance, fantastic restaurants, ATM machine 300yds away. Breakfast is good value for money and there’s plenty to chose from to get your day off to a good start. We will definitely be returning here for a short break, maybe next time without a car, as we didn’t really need it once we had arrived and there’s a station close by. A truly lovely part of the world.
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: It’s next to the beach and the station.
Cons: I found the staff to be somewhat hostile about the towels for the beach. Being a beach front property I expected some kind of flexibility in this regard but was met with hostility. The vibe is the property was a bit off which dampened my mood. I asked for additional towels and was met with hostility aa d slight aggression - the staff was on the phone in my room after saying she was leaving towels. I didn’t like waking up because the staff was cleaning. Some discretion would be beneficial for the staff.
7.5 Good
Pros: We had a beautiful vieuw and our room was lovely. The receptionist gave us a larger room for the same price. The location is wonderful!
Cons: I asked for a baby crib before arrival and the hotel replied to me by assuring me there was one. When We arrived there wasnt one! So I was a little bit upset, the receptionist offered us another bigger room so I had to share the bed with my baby, it was lovely but not what I asked for.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very kind manager/owner.
Cons: Everything was fine.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was super. Staff very helpful Helpful
Cons: Could have done with air conditioner in the room
8.3 Excellent
Pros: all was ok!
Cons: no swimming pool
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location perfect have stayed before. Did not have breakfast
5.4 Okay
Cons: French hospitality spirit - people in the shops, and in the hotel reception are not friendly, besides we had a mistake done by the stuff at our check in - so on the last day of a short 3 day stay we had to ugently change a room - this was very unconvinient, but what we found more disappointing in the form we were 'not asked' to do it, but more instructed - also being presented to us as a 'favour' we have to be happy about. The only place I haven't liked during our tour vacation was Agay stay. (Snt Raphael beaches and small city spirit near by is better) We chose this hotel for a high ranking and in the end we couldn't figure out how come our experience was surprisingly negative.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This Hotel was fantastic, the beautiful bay and its sandy beach is just outside the door. Lots of restaurants and small shops and the tourist infomation all within five minutes walk. There is a restaurant actually on the beach with a menu you suit all pockets, my wife and ate there 3 times on the terrace with the sun sinking red below the Esterel hills. if you want a Hotel just far enough away from the larger resorts like Cannes and St Tropez look no further. We have found our dream resort, and will return we hope many times.

Pros: The location is very good, near the beach and parking and the main things such as train station, restaurants, supermarket and shopping...
Cons: After 7 am wasn't possible to sleep as people near our room begin to make noise going to the breakfast. I think the staff could be more sympathic. Didn't speak English and was to direct and not so kind. Breakfast is very expensive for what they offer
8.3 Excellent

Cons: No facilities for hot drinks.

Pros: The breakfast and the location were both very good, it was convenient for the restaurants, shopping and the beach was an easy short stroll.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel just a fel minuters from the beach. The rooms where clean and the bed was perfect. Nice staff at the hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Position of hotel - to sea and town centre. Staff helpful. Lovely seafront bar and sea views. Ideal position.
Cons: TV channels limited - more English speaking channels would have been appreciated. However, not a major problem.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Room small,no basic facility such as tea or coffee,TV not connected initially when it was not a single English speaking channel, lift tiny and inadequate and broke down twice, service at bar and restaurant very poor, food only average as was the choice of menu,no staff spoke any English of any quality so orders misinterpreted and wrong, very expensive given the extremely average condition of the hotel. They clearly do not like or cater for British people, and since our last visit some 15 years ago,the whole atmosphere and ambience of the place has changed, very much for the worse.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel reminding me of a bygone era. The staff were fantastic, the owner delightful and the location amazing. Will definitely come back
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very comfortable. The bed is great and they provide a lot of toiletries which is nice.
Cons: My partner and I went through a mug attempt before we arrived at the hotel. I was frazzled ( I admit) but I didn’t find the staff very empathetic. They could have been more empathetic.
