Pros (+) The location is wonderful walking distance to any historical site in the city of Rome. Beautiful newly renovated hotel and very comfortable beds. I would have spent $250.00 to $350.00 A night. The staff was overwhelming attentive to my needs, including scanning and copping documents. I give this hotel 5 Stars +.
Cons (-) The elevator and it's one of four hotels in one building!! I know sounds crazy, but it's hidden on the fourth floor.
Pros (+) Location was perfect for walking to most major sights-Colosseum, Trevi, Pantheon, Spanish Steps. Metro one block away to reach farther destinations. Walked with luggage to main terminal to catch $7 euro bus to the airport. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. All facilities clean.
Cons (-) Main lobby to building could stand renovation, but never felt unsafe (Floris is on the 4th floor). Construction project taking place during my stay caused some inconvenience. Morning noise from breakfast prep (my room was adjacent to the prep area), and from housekeeping rapping loudly on doors.
Pros (+) The hotel is conveniently located a few blocks from the Termini train station and around the corner from the Republica metro station. It's also a moderate walk to many sights in Rome. There's a generous free breakfast and the staff is attentive. Our room was comfortable.
Cons (-) If you're traveling with some luggage, space is a bit tight -- but that was not unusual in other places we stayed in italy. The elevator is adorable for three good friends, but not so much if you're trying to get your stuff up to the fourth floor reception area.
