very good staff, clean and big room with beautiful garden for rest. also, it is near train terminal and suitable for tourists.
hasn't iron, kettle in room, and safety box is broken! also has normal Breakfast.
The breakfast and room sizes where excellent, as well as the quiet at night being so central.
Perhaps improve breakfast.
This is a large old-fashioned ( but not posh) maiin hotel in walking distance from the railway station Roma Termini. The Staff were extremely friendly. I booked a larger room and got really nice room with lots of space. The room was perfectly clean. I also liked the breakfast at the top floor roof garden. The bed was good and I slept well.
The public spaces in this hotel look a bit rundown and could profit from refurbishing. On the other hand, I did not feel that this was really a problem. Given that they have changed little since the 1950es or so, you can enjoy that specific charming vintage atmosphere. Moreover, if they had refurbished it, it would be much more expensive. Overall I was very happy staying in this hotel. Everything works as it should.
Its a very good value for money hotel, situated between Termini station and the "La Sapienza" University.
