The lobby drinks & snacks were appreciated. Free parking.
Two receptionists (female) at check-in were not very friendly or helpful. The NZ guy at checkout was fantastic. I got talking to him the day before we left.
The hotel was in a perfect location for all our activities. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and there was a beautiful view.
Breakfast buffet is amazing, free taxi rides into town made the location of the hotel an asset. If you enjoy walking, taking the taxi to the other side of town and strolling thru great streets filled with fantastic restaurants and shops (45-minutes to walk slowly) will put a smile on your face. Housekeeping and front desk staffs were wonderful!
Not a thing.
The location is poor, a 20-minute walk from the centre and on a busy main road. The noise is very intrusive even with the windows closed. The service is mediocre and uninterested. The toilet seat in my room was broken; I reported it when I arrive but it had not been fixed two days later, when I left. I think it's a conference hotel used to block bookings and so has little interest in individuals.
the help at the front desk was fantastice. the guy whose name i can remember but started with an F was terrific. he helped us plan all of our day trips.
the toilet paper is a little hard. you need softer toilet paper.
