9.6 Excellent
Pros: lovely helpful staff, very clean rooms, nice restaurant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nicest hotel for miles! The onsite restaurant was fab.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: The pool area was less than I expected, going by photos online.
6.0 Good
Pros: Newer hotel with very attractive exterior and interior. Very clean rooms.
Cons: Very surprised they charge for parking for a regular outdoor lot around hotel. Water pressure terrible and no garbage can in bathroom . Just some quirky annoyances. Guess expect a little more for this level of hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice rooms, beds were amazing
Cons: The fee for pets.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location is nice, love being so close to the river trail, bridge and Turtle Bay. They really do a good job of keeping the grounds nice and clean. Everyone is very friendly. Love the modern style of the rooms. It's nice not to have to leave the vicinity to be entertained. Saw a great comedy show across the street at the event center, had drinks and dessert afterward at Mosaic, walked the river trail for 10 miles the next morning and had breakfast at Mosaic again. Visited Turtle Bay without the kids this time and just chilled out and enjoyed our time there. Beautiful mountain vista. No need to leave the immediate area really.
Cons: Mosaic was just slightly less impressive this time for breakfast only. Breakfast is good but I'd love to see fresh potatoes from a restaurant like this- not packaged, dry, diced french fry-style potatoes. The smell in the lobby is so overpowering it almost makes me sick. It smells like walking through Macy's and having every employee spraying you with perfume. Also, being charged for parking is outrageous and feels scummy. We stayed there to be close to the event center for a performance and ended up being charged for parking at our own hotel anyway. Yuck. But overall we love this place and will be coming back if we ever stay in Redding because it feels like staying at a nice hotel in the Bay Area but for a better price.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel seems modern and is very well maintained. The location is great and only a very short walk from the Sundial Bridge and Turtle Bay exploration park & gardens. Lassen Volcanic National Park is an easy 40 min drive away. All of the staff are friendly, from the valet to the front desk to the servers - all seem happy to help you enjoy your stay. There's a well-stocked bar/restaurant on site with a decent sized menu. (The food was excellent) So you don't feel too guilty about indulging, there's a pool & gym to help work off the extra calories. The rooms came complete with Internet TV (Netflix, Hulu etc.) and Room Service is offered. The HVAC in the room is quiet and keeps it the perfect temperature. Having lots of power outlets next to the bed is convenient for the various gadgets
Cons: The hotel is on the expensive side when compared to others in the area The breakfast menu is different on weekends for some reason. I was unable to order the eggs benedict but could order the port eggs benedict (a far more complex dish) which seems illogical. I used both the paid-for water ($5) and the free bottle of water in my room - neither was replenished when the room was refreshed but the paid for water was charged to my room for both days. I like 2 x cream in my coffee which was all that was in the room (despite it sleeping 4 persons & having 4 sets of coffee) That one cup also seemed to be my allowance for the weekend as it wasn't replaced when the room was refreshed. There was a single chair & table inside, and 2 chairs on the balcony. If the room was full, those wanting to put their feet up may have to share/rotate. Most places I've stayed at have a desk in the room (convenient for the odd bit or work / make-up application etc.) - not the case here. Being pedantic, one of the wardrobe doors was broken and wouldn't open making the iron & ironing board difficult to retrieve. There was no in-room pamphlet/hotel information as it is all on the TV (no watching TV whilst browsing the room-service menu or deciding what activities to do locally). The water pressure in the bathroom was on the low side.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Newer and modern, super clean
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the facilities on the property. It is a perfect size. The restaurant was awesome! My boys loved their meals. I love the rustic feel of the hotel from inside to out. It was nice walking on the Sundial bridge the day after. We had a nice visit.
Cons: Being that this was my first time that my whole family stayed here. What I didnt like was how we had to pay for parking. I do understand that the visitors for the bridge and the hotel, you would want to separate that. However, I think there could be a better way to separate and not have guests pay for parking. Also .. even though our room was clean we and all but there ended up being ants in our room. They were trying to move us to one available room that was a floor up but we decided to stay being we were only there for one night. It was a bit uncomfortable knowing that we had a room with ant and a couple spiders. I think maybe they could have discounted our room price for the inconvenience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff.
Cons: No
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great. My only comment was one of the front staff ladies was completely rude to the maintenance manager, it was very off putting. John the maintenance manager had helped us easier in the day. He was a wonderful gentleman, it was sad to see her happy and nice to us and completely to her fellow staff.
Cons: Just the one incident above.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The reception staff were v.friendly and welcoming. The valet parking was $14 as opposed to $10 to park yourself in a further away car park. We paid the extra $4. The room was larger than expected and very comfortable, new and modern. Great, well appointed bathroom. We only stayed as a stopping off point on a long journey. I expected a faceless, corporate chain feel and was very pleasantly surprised that it was not. Breakfast was good and the waitess was lovely, so happy early morning. The dial bridge is a quick 2 min walk away, worth a look. Apart from that I cannot comment on the surrounding area / facilities as we did not go out. We ate dinner in the hotel. The restaurant had a nice feel. Food was pretty good (Pizza, pasta etc) and the waiting staff were happy and friendly.
Cons: The pool (nice surprise) was outside - we could not find any changing rooms and there appears to be 1 outdoor shower only, no real facilites. Also there were no towels provided. We had intended to take a quick refreshing dip (it was 35 degrees when we arrived at 5.30pm!) but didn't due to lack of changing room/ shower/ lockers. That's a shame as eveything else was v.good.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The check-in and check-out staff we're very pleasant. We arrived during the terrible fire season in Redding, CA . This property accommodated many of the fire and rescue professionals. Nice breakfast; clean dining area.
Cons: Our Rm had small, but irritating maintenance issues; headboard detached from wall, desk chair unusable wedged under the desk, toilet seat did not stay in the upright position, TV turned off every 10 automatically. Mgr was ON IT right away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There was a lot of parking when we arrived. The people at the front desk were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great! I would recommend this place ! I will be back and get the king suite

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable. Air conditioning thermostats in each room! Nice little kitchen, good dining table, nice sitting area. Several restaurants within walking distance. Awfully nice place to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was wonderful, helped above and beyond expectations. We traveled with our dog, and they provided a wonderful welcome packet for her, which included a toy, treats and super healthy food. We stayed in the two bedroom suite, and each bedroom had its own air conditioner!!! The whole place is immaculate.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I liked the location of this property. The suite was spacious. I had one little hang-up however - My reservation led me to believe that there were two king beds in the bedroom. There was only one and the property does not have any suites with two king beds except for their two bedroom suites. I felt that I was misled and that kind of took the shine off my experience.
Cons: It would have been better if I had gotten the bedroom I was promised.
6.3 Good
Pros: Compared to other hotels on Hilltop Dr., Towe Place Suites is a very good choice. I have stayed in several other local properties in Redding is and so far, this was the best for this side of town. It is not as well appointed as you might think for the price, but the room was very clean and comfortable.
Cons: I'm not trying to be super critical but here was our experience...The two bedroom king suite, which I thought would be very quiet, was just as loud from traffic and neighbors as a standard hotel room. The mattresses are very firm, not our cup of tea. The common spaces of the hotel could use more attention from the cleaning staff. Probably won't stay here again for the price I paid.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The guest hospitality was great! And everyone was very helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, but it was sausage everyday, would have liked bacon one or more days. Room was tidied everyday and was welcome when we returned. Would have preferred a wall between bed and living areas instead of partial wall with opening. This was not good for keeping sound down.
Cons: Nothing, enjoyed our stay.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Real full hot breakfast and amazing friendly staff. Big room.
Cons: Soundproofing is poor compared to other hotels. Could hear some toddlers having a party at 3am like they were inside my own room (next door) and a giant was stomping above my head at 5am when I really needed sleep. They did bring earplugs very quickly!

Pros: Good full breakfast free with stay. Bacon eggs sausage, fruit cereal, bagels, etc. Also a full bar with drink coupons when you check in.

9.2 Excellent
Cons: Remote control did not work. When calling front desk they said the staff that would repair/replace it was not on duty. So was not able to watch TV the entire time. Also shower had very old cracked and chipped tile. Might be time for a remodel of that room.

Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and laundry facilities. Planning an event in Redding? This hotel has facilities measuring 800 square feet (74 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The room was a little bit loud due to the traffic noise.
6.0 Good
Pros: Rooms were very clean and modern. No carpets. Breakfast was in a pleasant room off the pool. Manager quickly attended when we discovered toilet had leaked on the floor.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It’s not a big luxury chain hotel, but for the value it was surprisingly clean and comfortable.
Cons: It wasn’t advertised the free breakfast was continental. Very little selection. We ended going to the donut shop at the corner. Also, I got a Coke Zero from the vending machine on the property and the sodas was 3 months expired.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Convenient to restaurants and to visit the Sundial Bridge and Exploration Park
Cons: Noisy location: sirens, train horns, traffic, garbage truck.
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean, comfortable and quiet apart from the occasional noisy train! Continental breakfast was fine. A range of restaurants within walking distance.
7.9 Good
Pros: location & price
Cons: Outside our bathroom window was the dumpster. Early AM a lot of noise in the alley from garbage collection.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. And the price was right.
Cons: The outside traffic was unbelievably loud. We heard huge trucks constantly rumble by with their screeching brakes. We also heard a loud helicopter two times hovering overhead. And the sirens. Wow! I do believe Redding is the noisiest town I have ever visited. By the way, we heard a rodent inside the wall by the air-conditioner. Not sure if it was a rat or a mouse, but it was something knocking about. Maybe it was a ghost?
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I especially liked the location. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. The Thunderbird Lodge may be old but it is well kept and managed by what I could tell. The rooms are small but efficient, mine had everything I needed. Like a mini studio apartment. The only down side would be If your a late sleeper in the early morning around 5:30 a trash truck was already out and picking up and emptying trash bins in the alley behind my room. Not a problem for me I'm an early riser, but for anyone who is a light sleeper I'm sure they were awakened. Also I heard an active railroad line during the night off in the distance a train coming through the town's outskirts somewhere. These things just made it seem like I was staying in a city area and didn't really bother me all that much. I would stay here again value, location, clean are all important to me.
Cons: Can't say much about what I didn't like because my experience was overwhelmingly positive and that is where I like to focus. Not on complaining about what's not perfect when I travel .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very attentive staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was nice.
7.9 Good
Pros: easy location, easy check in, clean room.
Cons: pool was freezing, eeek!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: simple easy
Cons: please offer a few small bottles of water in the room that are included, also, Kayak please make this a toggle on your site, so we the users can easily eliminate hotels that don't offer bottled water, thx, tia

6.0 Good
Pros: I liked all the plugs in the room, fridge and microwave worked well as did the tv.
Cons: I could hear everyone from every direction of the room. Walls were paper thin. There were workers that leave at 5:30am talking right outside my window. I asked the front desk to ask them to step away, and 15 min later I got up and knocked on the window telling them people were trying to sleep. Not a clue. Staff needs to communicate to their regular travelers this is the case. If you get up early, great it's no big deal. No more sleep for anyone after 5:30am

6.7 Good
Pros: Easy access

9.0 Excellent
Pros: not a big breakfast eater, so it was adequate.
Cons: The only thing that was hard was the flight of stairs after a long day of driving but the front desk guy did offer to assist. Nice of him.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Reception staff were lovely, very friendly, smiling, chatty. I like that. Rooms well appointed Noise levels were acceptable ... my room WAS next to the cleaner's utility room, so there was comings and goings from there .. but not too bad.
Cons: Needs an elevator Needs a larger breakfast area. For the amount of rooms, 8 tables is not nearly enough No views. The pic of the property on booking.com is a little deceiving, the building could do with some exterior love - inside makes up for it somewhat
7.5 Good
Pros: The beds are comfortable
Cons: The water leaks and our room had the sink outside the bathroom
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and cleanliness
9.2 Excellent

4.0 Okay
Cons: They found a hypodermic syringe with drug paraphernalia in the first room they moved them to a new room and they found a used condom on their headboard right above their bed so no I wouldn't recommend them
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Very limited on things to do and restaurant options. Extremely Smokey. Poor circulation in rooms and even though they were non smoking they smelled of smoke.
Cons: Not much we liked
4.2 Okay
Pros: The security guards, housekeeping, front desk and dealers were all professional.
Cons: Lobby smelled horribly of smoke. Pillows were very hard to sleep on. Our 50.00 room service breakfast was delivered cold and wasn't able to order a carafe of coffee and no jam or butter was present for the toast that both of us had along with the cold waffles and eggs. (The bacon was pretty good though). The patio area was dirty but the pool was nice.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: staff was acting as though they were being inconvenienced
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Clean
Cons: When I was booking a room, I saw that it would be with a bathtub. And when we got there, there were no such rooms. Second, it’s a casino. So drunk people make noise all night. And the swimming pool wasn’t heated. So, it was a very frustrating experience.
7.5 Good
Pros: café was nice. staff was helpful room was quiet
Cons: smokey in the casino dining closes too early
7.5 Good
Pros: The accommodation.
Cons: Better signal for our phones and better air circulatory and cleaners for cigarette smoke that's so thick in Casino.
5.0 Okay
Cons: They allow smoking in the casino and the smell Of smoke was in the restaurants and down the hallways leading to the rooms
7.7 Good
Cons: the room was not the same pictured on kayak
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Loved the shower, comforts a weary traveler. Coffee maker was a nice bonus.
Cons: All good.
6.3 Good
Pros: The deluxe room is very nice size. The spa tub is extremely comfortable fills up quickly. Room cools off nicely after a hot day.
Cons: Google Maps needs to be updated it's not their fault, price of the room is little high, two towels for the bath really had to ask for more. Stop putting decaf in the rooms let the decaf people ask for decaf regular people want two cups of coffee each.
7.5 Good
Pros: It is fun casino, lots of updated games, I like childish action packed ones but oh , still had a nice time
Cons: The restaurant good be better, and the only real issue I had was the bathroom door, it auto closes and I did not like that and it slams loudly, it woke my husband but we were still happy over all. One last things they need to keep tabs on the women that were hookers, this isn’t Vegas after all

Pros: Very relaxing stay
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Its position was convenient to Interstate 5 and major roads. We spent the night in Redding as a convenient option after touring Lassen Volcano National Park some 40 miles to the East as options are limited in that area. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Some road noise from Interstate 5 was evident during the night. The area around the hotel is rather run down with homeless people and beggars evident.
6.3 Good
Pros: The breakfast was good. Not a fan of cold boiled eggs though.
Cons: The bathroom wasn't clean enough. Hair in the sink and tub. Brown stuff on the toilet lid. No microwave or frig in room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast. A varied menu.
7.0 Good
Pros: Everything was Great, Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed their free breakfast and staff friendly and attentive.
Cons: What I didn’t like was my own fault for not reading and paying attention to room details. This was a last minute overnight stay so I hurriedly made reservations. Room did not have a mini fridge( I like cold drinks) & although it said It had a terrace( it was not accessible). My fault though, had I looked at the other rooms online, could have had both for about $10.00 more. I will definitely stay here again and gladly pay the extra for both.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was clean and the staff were friendly
Cons: I got charged a $75 incidental fee. I was told that it would be refunded, but I have yet to see it. It's odd that it takes one day for the charge to come off my account, but 2 days after I was told they would refund that, I have not seen the refund.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel, good facilities, bigger than expected rooms, pool and hot tub. Friendly and efficient staff.
Cons: Breakfast could be improved. Rest of the hotel had class, but not the breakfast. No fridge in the room.

4.0 Okay
Pros: It was an okay hotel. There wasn't anything special. The stain glass window was cool.
Cons: The breakfast was something to be desired. The room was extremely small and the food was just adequate. The shower curtain had mold on it. When I mentioned it to the front desk, they just said "yeah, it happens."

Pros: The front desk is very friendly.
Cons: No
6.2 Good
Pros: The room was very clean (but smelled strongly of bleach) and the beds were comfortable. The location is very convenient. The staff were friendly.
Cons: The entire place - other than our room - smelled like cigarette smoke. The halls, the lobby, the elevator, the gym and laundry area... all smelled like cigarettes. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and the breakfast was well presented and tasty.
Cons: At 3:40 AM the staff mistakenly gave a couple (luckily a nice couple) keys to my room and they opened the door and startled me out of bed. They were embarrassed and left. I normally don't deadbolt the doors but I will start with this experience.

5.0 Okay
Cons: I'm really quite surprised but the 7.9 user rating for this hotel. I found the carpets and furnishings filthy and dated. The first room I was given smelled so bad, I had to ask for another room. New room wasn't much better. Would not stay here again.

Cons: You could tell that it hasn't been updated for a long time.

Cons: The key cards didn’t work very well for my room door, pool door, and laundry room door. The laundry machine ate my quarters and I ended up having to go to a laundry mat. No shampoo, conditioner, or toothpaste provided.
7.0 Good
Pros: Room, on 2nd floor, next to mine had 3 children whose mother left them unattended for most of the day and was verbally abusive to them when she made her infrequent appearances.. Naturally they were noisy & unruly. Why would you put a Senior citizen (me) next door to a room with children under the age of 9 when on previous visits I have been accommodated with a 1st floor room in a quieter section of the hotel ? The person at the front desk can see what my previous requests have been (as conveyed by last clerk who checked me in on previous visit). I know that there were rooms available to meet my requests. May be due to the clerks inexperience... Will hesitate to return to this particular location, although it is the perfect location for my needs & budget. Would like to say your housekeeping staff is very good, considerate and very accomodating. Rooms have always been clean & well stocked.
Cons: Room location.
6.7 Good
Pros: I liked the location, and staff. The staff was helpful in providing an alternative room when noise from the surrounding are impeded my sleep.
Cons: I recommend putting refillable shampoo, conditioner, and lotion dispensers in the shower area. Due to the theft policy of the hotel, I highly recommend you offer safes in the room. I moved some of the smaller pieces of furniture in the room, discovered that some of the “under area” had not been attended to for some time. I recommend moving the furniture a bit to get the under area cleaned. If I haven’t made the bed, I would appreciate you doing for me in the future. There were two days the bed did not get made.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Can’t think of anything.
Cons: The air conditioner was weak, poor lighting in the bathroom, no micro or fridge.
7.9 Good
Pros: Check in went quickly and smoothly. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Room was quiet throughout the night. We were able to park right outside our door so items in vehicle were secure and close.
Cons: There was a hand towel on the counter when we entered - not sure of it was clean so we threw it on the floor and used the other towels that were neatly stacked in the cubbyholes. Ac vents were not adjustable and blew on the nearest bed. Fortunately it was cool that night and we could have it off.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nicely renovated
Cons: Could hear the people above us walking.

Pros: Brittany was so pleasant and professional. Always had a smile on her face. Made my stay enjoyable.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room was clean, smelled like marijuana from the next room. Asked us for a lot of info, both persons ID, the car plate. I felt like a criminal. Didnt have an elevator, no rooms available on the bottom floor. ( we booked last minute). The price on the sign said lower price than we were charged. We stayed in two more motel 6 s and feel like they are consistently clean and decorated. Glad they don't have carpeting, feels and smells much cleaner.
