The only problem was the parking. I was staying alone and when I returned from my outing it was already dark. I had to park some distance from the entrance made a bit nervous
I liked that they enforced temperature checks at the door, although they didn’t check every single person in a party which seemed a bit odd, and almost negated the purpose, but I liked the intent! I really liked the late check-in availability, as we arrived around 10pm. I absolutely loved the location. Right behind our room was the Sacramento River! It was beautiful! There were even goats! The bed was very, very comfortable and the pillows were dreamy. The shower head was awesome and had a few different options in spray style.
I did not like the gross, short, mystery hairs I found on top of our soap options on the bathroom sink!!! I was in disbelief, but honestly didn’t have it in me to complain after an 8 hour drive. Covered it with a tissue and moved on.. partially inspecting everything else. I felt slightly uncomfortable with the cleanliness of the rest of our room, but I didn’t really see a problem with anything other than that. I also didn’t like how housekeeping kept coming to our door and waking us up in the morning.. I think a better system would be beneficial, like maybe once people check out, housekeeping checks in? The walls were kind of thin, but it was a pretty quiet night, and only noticed in the morning. The tv also didn’t have all the channels and the sound just stopped working after a while.
They were very strict about social distancing. Took temperature on arrival, required masks. Nothing left in room. Had to ask for ice, coffee, creamer. Tv remote wrapped in wrapper. First room very clean. We wiped all surfaces with chlorax wipes for our own covid protection.
We stayed twice. The first room was on the second floor. Older place but clean. The second stay was on first floor(114) but not as clean. A floss stick was by the tv, black hair on floor in bathroom and along the side of the tub. We used chlorax wipes to clean all surfaces due to covid but still disappointing.
