We especially liked the fact that there is an intact living room where you can sit , chat, or have a beverage. Additionally, breakfast is self served to be eaten in an actual dining room which is decorated very artistically. The ambiance of the décor coupled with the friendly accommodating staff made our stay very enjoyable.
The White Porch is always excellent. The staff is excellent. The rooms are clean and well decorated. They are small and close together, but they have maximized the feeling of being cozy and not cramped. They have great tubs and fireplaces and a wonderful porch in a great location. It is spotless and the place is very clean and comfortable.
I was very surprised this time they charged for parking. Ptown is very expensive and there is no need for that extra charge especially when it is tandem parking. That should be an included cost at best. It really bothered me as much as every Inn charges. The coffee needs to be improved and out earlier, or have a machine with access.
- Room was clean. - Fireplace was really nice. - Cleaning ans cooking staff are very friendly.
- Breakfast was basic and uninspired. - “Valet” style parking is understandable because of the lack of parking space but is a pain to have to bother the staff every time you need your keys to go get something in the car. Also, $14 per night in addition to the price of the room is ridiculous. - Owner is not the most welcoming host.
Comfortable hotel room and bed. Everything was very clean. The boy that made us breakfast. He was very good and very nice.
Breakfast I expected little bit better. The boy who made the breakfast was great.
