The friendly staff, nothing was too much for them to make the stay very pleasant
Friendly staff, food good and plentiful.
Staff shortage in restaurant.
friendly staff,comfortable beds
location to m6 was fantastic
The second i arrived I should have known it was not going to be good because the banging party in the front bar shook the radiator in my room, not good when i had to be up at 6am; i didn't need breakfast with such an early start but no discount offered on room rate; couldn't shower for fear of coming out of bathroom dirtier than i went in; single room no.11 above kitchen was noisy & boiling hot; consolation was that i took my own towel & didn't have to stay long, good job they finally agreed to move me to a quieter twin room in an almost empty hotel furthest from the party or i'd have happily slept in my car. Staff looked tired but smiley. Its not a stopover for me in the future.
Lovely reception staff - no problem with early chec-in. Good breakfast.
Room smelled of stale smoke even after leaving window open all day. Breakfast staff seemed put out by our being there.
This hotel was booked by me for a relative who was carrying out training in the area. The hotel was very homely and the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly.
Location to venue was excellent, as was the price
Bathroom could have done with a re-paint, not the end of the world though.
Staff stayed up late waiting for me to arrive at midnight. Much appreciated. Breakfast was very good, extremely friendly and timely.
Although check out wasn't until after 10.30 I was asked to settle my bill as I left breakfast at 7.45 as the reception desk person was 'going off duty now'.
