9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location on beach and close to good restaurants was superb. Staff were generally very good although the middle east reluctance to respond to requests still pervades Aqaba. Plenty of free on site car parking. ATM just outside hotel. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Had trouble obtaining fresh milk for room. Very little we didn't like
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service and breakfast buffet
Cons: The beach and pool are constantly innundated w super loud dj'd clubbing music - not good and not relaxing. We asked them to stop/lower but apparently the 'beach customers' have requested entertainment. We sat on the far end of the beach near the kempimski and the music mostly faded away...
6.7 Good
Pros: The staff were very helpful and responsive to feedback.Great location. Lovely pool facilities and beach. Loved the shower and lovely toiletries after a day in the sunshine.
Cons: The room wasn’t cleaned well enough. There were hairs from previous occupant. Needed a bit more attention to general maintenance from the perspective of the consumer.
7.5 Good
Cons: They deducted my credit card twice and they did that again with all my accompanying friends
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Right on the beach, no need to cross roads. Especially great for children. Great life saver service on the beach and in the pool.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Comfiest beds ever! Also, exactly what one needs for replenishment when coming from Petra and/or the desert of Wadi Rum; lovely swimming pools and direct access to the beach and sea. Also, amazing elaborate breakfast buffet and very kind and polite staff.

Cons: The air conditioner makes noisy sound.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, pool, beach
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice hotel location on the beach Good check in experience, we were given the room ahead of check in time. We were given a very nice room on the 5th floor. Very good lebanese restaurant
Cons: Breakfast: hotel was crowded, it was a real pain to get a table. Staff not organized to overcome the situation. Pool: again crowded, and staff was allowing big flamingos or so in the adults pool. Felt like we were at a party in Ibiza, not in an Intercontinental Check out handled by a golden key concierge: not a hello / how was your stay / no smile. Where is the golden key coming from??
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The beach The playground for the kids
Cons: The food
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, not far from the shopping area and the hotel has it's own beach which is very clean. Breakfast was decent.

6.0 Good
Pros: very clean rooms not to big and not to small. The staff worked well with everyone.
Cons: I did not like the fact that one reason for going to IADV was for the understanding the rooms had wireless internet. After checking in and going to my room to find I did not have wireless in my room which made it a little hard to do my work while playing and resting.
4.3 Okay
Cons: location far from sea, need cap to go there.hotel is small and if you want to call them no land line only cell phone and no one answering.no decent restaurant.
4.7 Okay
Pros: I liked the location relatively close to a fine beach with great snorkel water just 50 meter from the beach. More hotels close by with restaurants. 10-12 from Aqaba city and a taxi could be done for 4JD one way. The rooms had a ok size. I can recommend the breakfast - 3JD.
Cons: There are other hotels closer to the beach. This is about 10 min walk.
6.3 Good
Pros: The nice clean room, the wifi and the fine simple service.
6.3 Good
Pros: excelent staff. Good diving spot
Cons: Cost of breakfast and local tax were not included in rate.
6.6 Good

Cons:
6.0 Good
Pros: Very clean and new. Family run! No pool (yet as they say). Good if you are diving, for longer stay without diving a bit too simple.
Cons: No pool (but will build one they said).
7.6 Good
Pros: All the staff were most welcoming and helpful. I got lifts to the beach and they offered to take me to Aqaba or get me what I needed. I liked that the place was peaceful, quiet and safe for a lone female traveller.
Cons:

Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, limo/town car service, and express check-in. Planning an event in Aqaba? This resort features 3423 square feet (318 square meters) of event facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free valet parking is available onsite.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Staff was quite friendly and hospitable.
Cons: This hotel do not have a house reef like most of the 5 stars hotels at Red Sea in Egypt. Even if the hotel beach was clean, you can see the beaches around just full of plastic residues. Moreover, the sea is also full of plastic residues as well, including in front of the hotel. It’s just so sad and unpleasant to see the beaches and the sea so dirty while you probably expect to see the well known beautiful corals and fish that Red Sea is well known for. Just in the same note, the room was quite dirty when I checked in, unacceptable even for an 2 stars hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a very relaxing place to spend a couple of days swimming and enjoying the sunshine. The room was clean, cool, and the bed was very comfortable. Any hotel that has a 'chocolate hour' is fine by me!
Cons: The restaurants were expensive and had pretty average food. I would recommend venturing out to find some nice local food (we found we got too lazy to leave once we were there!). We ate better food at budget hotels throughout Jordan. The snorkelling trip also charged a lot, and once we got there we realised we could have just swum out from the beach to get there (as plenty of others were doing).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel resort, everything you need is onsite. A lot of restaurants, amazing rich breakfast, very friendly and professional staff, wifi everywhere (at the pool, at the beach), clean rooms with coffee and tea for free.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was lovely. It was close to Aqaba and Wadi Rum and most importantly it's right on the Red Sea if your into watersports or chilling on the beach. However it's the staff that make the hotel. The staff I'd to highlight is Mohammed at the check-in, very helpful. Paul who was the diving instructor who was absolutely brilliant. Last but not least Alexandra who is an entertainment staff member. She was brilliant at her job, very proactive and full of energy, but in addition went out of her way to give local advice about Aqaba and Wadi Rum. That information really helped with getting the full Jordan experience while travelling around. Best Regards, Irish Tom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We’ve stayed in a lot of five star hotels and this is up there as one of the best and one of our favourites. The whole process from check in to check out was seamless. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful - we particularly appreciated the staff in the restaurant who were super friendly and gave great service! The dinner buffet was potentially the best hotel dinner buffet we’ve ever eaten - the sheer variety and quality was amazing! Breakfast was fantastic too. The pools are amazing and we did a boat snorkeling tour through the on site dive company which was great and very well priced at €20 pp. We would return in a heart beat and wish we could have stayed longer!
6.3 Good
Cons: Old hôtel, not really clean Some employees helped us, other were not smiling neither to Say Hello, non what you expect from a 5 * resort compares to the price
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Reception gentlemen were very nice at check in, they offered us a lot of complementary things including a room upgrade.
Cons: Rooms were not that comfortable and neat like a 5 star they need to be renovated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a really great (short) stay in Movenpick Tala Bay. The staff was welcoming especially Tareq who was helpful all the time and really kind. The hotel has an amazing view of the sea, great pools, private beach and activities. You will without no doubt enjoy your stay here! Really great service thank you
Cons: Nothing
4.2 Okay
Pros: Pool area is the best of all
Cons: At all the hotel reminds me more as a 3star "Ballermann" hotel instead of a 5star resort. Air conditioner is very noisy, after asking for another room the stuff mentioned it is the same in every room. 3 times they sent someone to check for it, 3 times they told us it is as it is. Redsea is great ... Luckily the hotel has no contribution to it. Beach is ok, artificial sand and a bit dirty. Check in and out needed a long time. The system is quite slow and need to long. As example during the check out we needed to wait long. I told them that we will bring already our luggage to the car. When I came back they still hadn't finalize anything... So started from scratch again... Funny 5*

Cons: Clean and odorless bathroom at Alshatt men’s restroom. No electricity when entering the room Water is not always hot Dirty stirring spoon Valet car parked under the sun Breakfast too expensive Mold smell by the bar area Was hoping for courtesy bigger room provided many empty rooms were available.

Pros: excellent room, very big and lots of space, clean, great service, very welcoming staff. Facilities were very clean and equipped (pool, beach), the private beach is wonderful
Cons: quite high prices for indoor restaurants and room service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Value for money, level of maintenance of the hotel, staff friendliness
Cons: The only problem I had was during the registration using booking.com and comparing movenpick.com it was almost impossible to understand which room is suitable for a family of 5 Had to co cancel 3 times and eventually contacted a friend who stayed there
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The facilities are great, the staff is very nice nd helpfull. It was a really nice staying.
4.0 Okay
Pros: very good variety of breakfast food!! clean dinning room,
Cons: its not what you would expect of a 300$ per night 5 star hotel!! asked for a table napkin (serviette) they brought me a USED dirty one!!asked for a cup of tea ,, still waiting!! next day i got my cup of tea but alas no t spoon to be seen anywhere no soy milk available,(this is normally found in a 5 star hotel) AT THE ICE CREAM WAGON ON THE BEACH I ASKED 3 TIMES WITCH ICE CREAM HAS NO MILK , I WAS ASSURED BY THE ATTENDANT THAT BLACK BERRIES WAS DAIRY FREE , TRIED IT .. SPENT THE REST OF OUR VACATION REALLY FEELING SICK LUCKILY I HAD MY MEDICATION WITH ME AND WAS OVER IT IN 12 HOURS!! IF YOU ARE A NON SMOKER AND ARE SENSITIVE TO SMOKE SMELL THIS HOTEL IS NOT FOR YOU !!SMOKING IN THE LOBBY !! AT THE RECEPTION COUNTER
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and cozy place A++ for sure
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very kind, the room (we stayed at a family room) was spacious and bright, the beach is clean, has good facilities and has soft sand, the pools are cool and the gym is pretty good. Altogether a very good experience.
Cons: Breakfast needs an extra touch. More vegetables, more salads, better pastries.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: We didn't like the service at the shat restaurant, very late in order... staff very slow
6.7 Good
Pros: The breakfast time was really a pleasant time, the staff there are beyond amazing. Food was so good and different mixes of food kinds. The beach view and the facilities are really nice too.
Cons: I had to change my room twice, as the first room wasn't as I booked on booking.com. Just to be fair not all the staff were an unprofessional staff, but as a guest needs to have a luxury stay, it wasn't as it was supposed to be. When I used the Gym facility some of the equipment like the bikes were broken from foot holders. I was disappointed from the hygienic problem at the showers at the pool's hotel. Maybe as an Arab women traveler I had been through some social problems, or foreigner women would face it too, as one of the front of desk staff advised me to change what was I wearing, because he thought it is not suitable for the city, which I am so sure it is not his problem even if it is out protection and second that was a bad an advertisement for this city, that was my first time visiting Aqaba!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Ahmad on reception is sooo amazing
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: helpful and friendly staff, always smiling and polite. the room was spacious (we were 5) and clean, the showers were good. nice pool, great beach

6.3 Good
Pros: The room was just ok, nothing fancy. It was clean and the bed comfortable. Close to the sea and downtown.
Cons: The location is not safe and not because of the people, but because of the dogs that were free. There were 3-4 dogs near the hotel and I was a bit scared to come back in the evening at the hotel because of them (they were barking and coming towards us).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location,spotless,a lift,faultless wifi,fantastic staff,parking spot outside,balcony with a sea view,air conditioning,comfy bed,toiletries-absolutely perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: View from the balcony (sea at some distance). Plenty of space for car parking. Very comfortable mattress in our room 206. Not far from the city center. Not expensive.
Cons: Kettle to make coffee would have been nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, comfortable room. Friendly staff.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location near city center with nice view on red sea. friendly stuff. . I would recommend this accommodation.
Cons: nothing special
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Our apartment was clean and spacious: two bedrooms,a hall and two bathrooms. There were many cups of potable water prepared for us. The staff was very helpful. And it wasn't very far from the sea (about 20 minutes of walking through local shopping centre).
Cons: Very soft mattresses - it was hard to even roll over in the bed. And something that is a part of local culture: a muezzin from the nearby mosque was waking us up everyday at 4 a.m. (but still, it is something you can get used to).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location and nice personnal. The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: Lack of power outlet. No food served in the hotel (no breakfast).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was OK, the room is spacious clean with balcony. Good air con as it was extremely hot these days. The fridge was clean and big.
Cons: The accomodation is good value of money maybe more space in bathroom and staff for making a cup of coffee /tea would be useful but it is not a big drawback.
7.5 Good
Pros: The area around is not developed well and a lot of thrash can be seen when looking out of the Windows. It was also frustating that there was no possibilities to have breakfast in the shops below the building.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Large room. Huge sliding door window. Lovely cleaning staff. Clean everywhere, lots of natural light and airy. Great WiFi connection! Hot water and water all the time! So nice having a balcony with a table and two comfy chairs. Great closet space. Mini fridge. Elevator for upper floors. Parking is right outside the hotel. Plenty of spaces and safe. A/C worked great. Furniture is tasteful and nice quality. All the !amps work the bathroom is also nice. Shower a bit on the small side. Overall, a gem hidden in a not so touristy street but is walking distance to the center and beach.
Cons: This hotel is not in a touristy area. The neighborhood is mostly locals, vacant lots and automobile shops. But you can easily walk to the center in 10 minutes. The price and quality definitely make this place worth it! It was a bit hard communicating with reception staff but the cleaning ladies all speak great English and work hard to keep everything clean.

4.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was very good, and they did cater for our request to check in little early.
Cons: This is NOT a five start hotel. For the price paid for one night, the room is not as one would expect from a 5 start hotel, the room lights didnt work, the sink was blocked and there were small tiny flies and ants crawling in the bathroom.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: good breakfast, nice staff
7.1 Good
Pros: I like the staff they are friendly, i like the breakfast selection.
Cons: I didnt like the room that much specially they forget to put slippers, the cabinets was broken we didnt hang our clothes because its hard to open and close and then we face a problem in the safety box and it took 20 m to fix it. Room need to be more clean and need to foucs on turn down service, breakfast missing butter knife and chef didnt show off on the waffle section so for tow days we didnt have any waffle or pancake.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel location is very good in the center of Aqaba and close to the port, many restaurants in the surroundings, and close to a beach as well, althought it is not the touristic beach, it looked more for the locals. Nice and friendly staff. I specially liked the pool area and the rooftop coffee. Excellent breakfast with a big variety of food for everyone's taste. The beds are amazingly comfy!!
Cons: In our room, the aircon was dripping water on the floor and we had some problems with the plugs, most of them didn't work so we had to unplug some lights in order to charge our phones. Also the plugs were only close to one of the beds, not in the middle or next to each bed. Apart from that there is nothing to complain about.

7.9 Good
Pros: We needed a place for the night and it was big enough and not expensive They were very nice and helpful
Cons: Location is centered but not in a very nice place We ordered a room for six had got only four beds
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were great, room 202 ( or maybe it was 204) was very comfortable and nicely laid out, wi-fi was good on this floor, clean, towels and toiletries provided, location was good, had hot water
Cons: I'd like to say I highly recommend staying here before proceeding with my minor 'disliked''. We stayed two separate times. The second stay our room was one of the 4-hundred numbers on third floor which, although had a separate living area and a small kitchen, we did not like. It was cramped, the hot water wasn't working and we couldn't connect to the wi-fi properly. However, we were quickly moved back to our first room on the first floor (2-hundred number) upon request, which we very much liked.
6.7 Good
Pros: The day receptionist is a really nice person very helpful and gives you good advices and tips for your trip.
Cons: TV problems and the person in charge at night was really arrogant. Noisy om the first floor, you hear people coming in and out at the reception. The 1st floor in un a way like a mezzanine.

Pros: We spent 2 nights and 2 days at this colourful and cozy place with amazing view of the sea and the mountains! The staff are so friendly and always happy to help! Food was fresh and tasty: traditional Jordan dishes for breakfast and grilled fresh fish for dinner were just great! Rooms were comfortable and clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly :) Outdoor “lounges” is a lovely place to relax. We really enjoyed our life in this colourful little village and its people who make it happen!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great little nooks and seating options to chill. Nice, relaxed music. Easy to just hang out at any time of day. Great location for snorkelling and diving.
Cons: For the price it was pretty good. Maybe could have been a little cleaner. But as they gave us a room from midday, we won’t complain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Staff is absolutely friendly and helpful (cheers to Ali!). There is a clean swimming pool, tasty food (fresh fish!) And tourists friendly beach just on the other side of the road. Sights for snorkling are awesome (just take shoes)
5.0 Okay
Pros: The place itself has a cosy atmosphere. But a thorough cleaning and repairing the pillows, tables, etc would help a lot. Plus to change the mats in the rooms. It must have been a very nice place in the past, with some energy that could be achieved again. Hosts are kind people. Breakfast is all right, some more cheese and bread could be served though.
Cons: Cleanliness. Rooms are okay, but the common places...are in a messy condition. Mats in the room are uncomfortable. The toilet had some watering difficulties.

So it's even very easy, all diving locations are very close and you can go for dive anytime. They are professional and I recommend it! The only bad thing was that I stayed there just for 1 night, definitely next time going for more days. Excellent!
