9.0 Excellent
Pros: The service of the hotel was excellent. Mahmoud at the reception, Shane and Jose at breakfast, Daisy at the aqua bar, Jessa at the beach, all EXTREMELY nice AND super helpful and competent! The room is super clean, excellent bedding, silent rooms, with shower and bathtub, bathing sea salt complimentary, wonderful.
Cons: The choice and quality at the evening buffet by the sea: outrageaoulsy expensive. A total wreck. Avoid it by ALL means...
7.1 Good
Pros: 1. On the Beach 2. Beach Front View from the room. 3. Good Breakfast Buffet included with room 4. WiFi worked well. 5. Courteous Staff.
Cons: 1. Stayed there during Eid and the hotel was empty, yet the room rate remained at $ 218 per night plus 10% Service Charge plus 7% City Tax. 2. Check-In, Baggage X-Ray people are buffoons. Thought I had some telescope or telephoto lens in my bag. Acted like I wanted to photograph a Nuclear Sub Base that doesn't exist. I did not even have a camera with me. 3. No electrical outlets near the bed. 4. Limited number of chairs near the pool and beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. People in the hotel were amazing, from front desk, cleaning staff (Sumon), pool staff (Mohammed), breakfast staff (Mary, Mary Shane, Erroll). Had an amazing time. World class.
Cons: Only negative is that the pools were not heated. Too cold for that time of the year (mid November). Kids were not allowed in the Jacuzzi, so only real option for swimming was the sea (which was amazing).
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent
Cons: Insufficient plug sockets in the bedrooms
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: rooms were spacious, clean, with a great view. hotel beach was nice and well maintained. staff very helpful and friendly.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything is ok.Very clean room and good meat.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room service. Extremely helpful staff. Strong attention to details. Great food.
Cons: Hardly anything.. Probably the early check in fee could have been waived. Nothing much really.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Dear Lacosta Hotel, · A beautiful hotel in the center of Aqaba- great location, the staff was great specially Wassem in the reception, and help you with everything you will need! highly recommended!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very good position. Friendly staff, nice room setting. Exceptional breakfast. Very good price/quality
Cons: Hotel was clean, but look dated. Would recommend to add some electric sockets in the room. Overall very good stay!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room, friendly and attentive staff, convenient location.
Cons: Keycard stopped working on several occasions. We noticed that a few other guests had the same problem.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely helpful and friendly as soon as I walked in the door. On the outside, it didn't seem like much, but on the inside it was very nice. Unfortnately, I arrived at 9pm and left by 8am the next day so I didn't get to experience the restaurant. I would definitely stay here again. It is also less than a min walk to the JETT shuttle bus stop.
Cons: No complaints.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: Shower could use some attention for cleanliness. Smelled of stale cigarette smoke. No soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Hotel unable to accommodate request for refund for 2nd night we did not stay due to change of plans on our end. Would have liked for them to at least try to offer a partial refund.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice fridge, good restaurant
Cons: My second booking was lost due to poor vendor management ( booked on agoda and the establishment ceased their partnership after my booking, booking.com all ok). I recommend booking through booking.com.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We only stayed one night, but would loved to have stayed longer at this excellent hotel which we could not fault in any respect. We had a large family room, which was spacious with good views from the fifth floor over the sea and town. Some very good restaurants and cafes just downstairs, and a stone's throw from the public beach.
Cons: I would have liked a bath tub, not just a shower, but that's a mere detail really.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great luxury hotel at the center of the town. Clean and spacious room. Very good breakfast.
Cons: Dinner has many choices but all of them are moderate. Nothing special.

Pros: the staff and the location the hotel was clean and very good place near the beach
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service and breakfast buffet
Cons: The beach and pool are constantly innundated w super loud dj'd clubbing music - not good and not relaxing. We asked them to stop/lower but apparently the 'beach customers' have requested entertainment. We sat on the far end of the beach near the kempimski and the music mostly faded away...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nothing is more wonderful than a holiday at a sandy beach. The location is excellent, with a private beach band high end activities and amenities. Friendly helpful staff, Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay. Thank you

Pros: Everything

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at Mövenpick Tala Bay was excellent, and we could enjoy totally our first days of honeymoon in this truly charming place... The manager, Mr. Ounalli, and all his teams, made our stay amazing with a lot of small romantic attentions in our upgraded room, almost every day, and the view from the balcony was just beautiful towards sunset. The infrastructures are great, the breakfast buffet, as well as the dinner buffet, were both excellent, with a big choice of fresh products (also cooking station). There is a nice happy hour for the drink at the main bar, with quality cocktails and a very nice view of the sea. The personal is really kind and at your disposal for any request, to make our stay the best possible. Even though we didn't take part in them, there are a lot of activities proposed by a team of young animators, and there was a good mood at the beach. There are free shuttles to Aqaba several times per day, with very friendly drivers who can also advise excellent places to eat in the city. We had the occasion to visit other hotels in Tala Bay during our stay (some friends were staying there), and there were no comparisons: the Mövenpick hotel has so much more green environment, flowers, pools that it makes it very unique in this desert atmosphere. We could see families, couples, retired people, all of several nationalities, cohabiting very well in this place. The resort is relatively close from Petra, one of the 7 new wonder of the world, and this is also a big plus. We can just recommend the Mövenpick Resort Tala Bay to others!
Cons: As frequent cocktail drinker, we would have appreciated a bit more of classic cocktails in the card and less fruity ones. The pizza in the Italian restaurant could be a bit more garnished. The water of the pool is not heated, so it might be a problem for some people (yet there are some amazing jacuzzi in the resort).
7.5 Good
Pros: Size of the resort, beach, different pools. Zara spa was excellent. Staff friendly and attentive.
Cons: Rooms old, bathrooms not the cleanest with tiles in shower area not clean. Hotel main building modern and in good condition but the accommodation less so.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, breakfast was good and location perfect for diving. Service was great and friendly, diving was amazing! The staff helped me organise day trips to Petra and Wadi rum.
Cons: Location is good for diving and relaxing but there are no shops and only a few restaurant close by. Wifi could be better (didn't reach my room) and a kettle for boiling water would have been great.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Nice common areas, however there should be some cosier light in front of the rooms.
Cons: Rude receptionist projecting a bad vibe. Very rigid with her rules and schedules, hindering us from doing both, early snorkeling and enjoying the hotel breakfast. Rooms are very basic without a real bathroom door, I found 60 Euros for this quite expensive.
6.0 Good
Pros: very clean rooms not to big and not to small. The staff worked well with everyone.
Cons: I did not like the fact that one reason for going to IADV was for the understanding the rooms had wireless internet. After checking in and going to my room to find I did not have wireless in my room which made it a little hard to do my work while playing and resting.
4.3 Okay
Cons: location far from sea, need cap to go there.hotel is small and if you want to call them no land line only cell phone and no one answering.no decent restaurant.
4.7 Okay
Pros: I liked the location relatively close to a fine beach with great snorkel water just 50 meter from the beach. More hotels close by with restaurants. 10-12 from Aqaba city and a taxi could be done for 4JD one way. The rooms had a ok size. I can recommend the breakfast - 3JD.
Cons: There are other hotels closer to the beach. This is about 10 min walk.
6.3 Good
Pros: The nice clean room, the wifi and the fine simple service.
6.3 Good
Pros: excelent staff. Good diving spot
Cons: Cost of breakfast and local tax were not included in rate.
6.6 Good
Pros: Friendly; good value; basic but comfortable; air conditioned; wirless internet; hot water showers.
Cons: Long walk to the beach...good if you have a car.Very limited menu.
5.2 Okay
Pros: the hotel was clean and the staff try to be helpful even with a poor english. The menu was to simple. It is far from the beach and we needed to fix an hour with someone for the pickup .
Cons: the menu.to far from the beach.

Pros: Everything! I expected so much worse after looking at the web site but in actual fact it was a great little place!!! we all loved our stay there and wished it was longer!
Cons:
6.0 Good
Pros: Very clean and new. Family run! No pool (yet as they say). Good if you are diving, for longer stay without diving a bit too simple.
Cons: No pool (but will build one they said).

4.0 Okay
Pros: Nice location, close to the beach. Nice and clean rooms, beautiful surrounding area , nice public rest area
Cons: We planned stay there two nights and we informed hotel that we will come late evening in advance. But during check in proces they informed us, that they don´t have room for us. They offered us another hotel (more far away form beach- reached only by car). In new hotel they offered us beduin tent , but due to cleanness we rejected it and we agreed that five peaople will stay in original 4-bed room (extra bed was added). During evening we requested boss of hotel to arrange rooms in original Bedouin Garden Village during next morning for us. On next day ,when we came to hotel to acommodate, boss left for longer time away a nobody could arrange our accomodation. After one hour of waiting boss came, but he told us that he can´t gurantee rooms. So we asked him to cancel our booking immediately. After that he started to be nervous and shouting little bit, Then he said that rooms will be prepared for us late afternoon. Of course we didn´t agree . So finaly they prepared rooms for us withinh 30 minutes (but after two changes of the rooms). Probably expected guests from those rooms were moved to another place as happened to us last niht. We found out that there were more people with the same situation as ours. We were very dissapointing with tis behaviour
6.0 Good
Pros: It's a nice place for relaxing. The beach is a 5 min walk over the street.
Cons: The guy at the reception desk was very unfriendly. He tried to charge us higher price than booked and to sell us breakfast that was included in the reservation. Other stuff was ok.
6.7 Good
Pros: Staff Breakfast and dinner were nice
Cons: Beds were hard, bathroom was very basic.
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is very close to the beach where you can snorkel. If you walk 10 minutes, you reach Japanese garden, the best snorkelling spot as one of the instructors recommended. The staff is generally nice and helpful. The restaurant proposes fresh fish on the grill, delicious. They offered us Bedouin scarfs when we left. One of the dive instructors helped me to treat an accident with a fire coral.
Cons: One of the dive instructors was not very helpful - the first day of snorkelling he told us that we could snorkel from Japanese garden back to the hotel in 10 min, but it took us 45 min. It was very tiring and at the end I had an accident with a fire coral because of the fatigue. There are not a lot of choices of food and it’s more expensive than in the center of Aqaba, but the food was correct. The hotel needs repairing - our toilet was broken several times, so sometimes we preferred to go to the shared toilet in order not to block our toilet.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location right next to the beach, close to berenice beach club, great choice if you want to stay at the south beach, but not in a big resort. Highly recommended to try freshly grilled fish for dinner!
Cons: The beach right next to the place is not too clean, but also good to enjoy sunshine and diving/snorkeling, as a very good diving spot is right there. It's quite relaxed and not too much going on, so not sure if recommended for solo travellers. In winter quite cold at night as we couldn't use the thick blanket without proper cover.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was simple, Omelette with or without a selection of cold dishes, mostly pickles. The tea was potable, black. The coffee was rank. Nearly everywhere we looked around the site seemed neglected. The whole operation (hotel, can't speak for diving aspect) needs a bucketful of tlc, and some of the staff need to sharpen up. Ali was great. Regina got better with time. She has a beautiful smile and should use it more often! The in-house taxi driver is lovely - as dodgy as Del-boy, but a heart of gold. You need to play him at his own game - make sure you have the right fare & tip, otherwise you find he has no change! A cabbie with no change? A rare beast indeed!
Cons: Cleanliness. Lack of bedside lamp. Very limited menu. Apparent surliness of some of the staff, like they didn't want to be there, never mind serve your needs.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Laid-back and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, great location near the beach.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good food, nice atmosphere and amazing chill out spaces
Cons: We booked our stay so we could snorkel at the japanese gardens but by the time we checked in all of the snorkelling gear had already been rented out so they budged some diving masks and snorkels together which didn't work too well, and it wasn't very busy so maybe invest in more snorkelling gear
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was large and spacious. Quite good value.
Cons: Despite being on a relatively high floor, it was very noisy. It certainly wasn't the hotel's fault at all, but the noise from a wedding party venue was very loud (obviously this wouldn't happen every night) and construction work also began at about 7am, so sleep was hard to come by.
4.0 Okay
Pros: the stuff did a really good job, were very nice to us and helped us we anything we needed.
Cons: The room smelled awful and we had no towels in the room

Pros: The view was amazing. I could see Israel and Egypt. The room is a good decent size and comfortable. Even though my room was facing the street, I couldn't really hear anything outside. The bed was great....I slept like a baby.
Cons: The hotel could definitely use some deep cleaning in the bathroom. It was ok for me, but could have been a lot better.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great view! Clean, comfortable, and the front desk staff was super helpful and friendly. Lots of restaurants and shops to walk to and you can take a free shuttle from the hotel to the Bearnice Beach Club. Even though it's a Muslim country, they had a christmas tree set up in the lobby, which I thought was a nice touch.
Cons: A little disappointed nobody cleaned my room even though I left for the beach pretty early in the morning.
