The staff were really nice. Everyone on the front desk and the bar were working hard and doing their best to make us happy. If we were looking for directions, they mapped things out for us. If we needed a cab, they called one. If we wanted to take the tram somewhere, they found the right ones and transfer stops. Really great folks. The room was very nice and comfortable. Although the hotel is only a 5-10 minute walk from shopping, dining and Old Town, it was very quiet and we could sleep with the windows open (bonus!) until folks started waking up in the buildings around us and having breakfast downstairs. Good bathroom with a nice rain shower and hand-held shower head. Everything looked new and worked great. Nice water pressure. There's a nice playroom downstairs with a pool table, foosball table, ping pong table and a Play Station. Parking is under the building, well lit, super clean and affordable (22 Euro/night) and the door leads right into the lobby or the elevators.
Breakfast is chaotic. A lot of people and not enough seating. One coffee machine broke the first day, which really made the line long for the remaining one, but the second machine was fixed by the 2nd morning. They did run out of orange juice both mornings we were there, which is unfortunate. The scrambled eggs were pretty runny both days. But a nice selection overall.
The quality of the room was very good, very fresh. The breakfast was OK.
It was very loud when many people was eating breakfast. It was reopening and the staf was new. They had to ask lots of qestions from their collegues. When we checked in and out.
- newly renovated - super clean - size of the room and bathroom - sound proof - kitchen, fridge, washing machine, iron, well-equipped etc. - balcony - comfortable bed - location - secured underground parking - fast internet
- parking 22€ per day. - breakfast in the weekend could be open little longer
Some areas of the hotel are under construction hence there is an occasional noise from ongoing works. The check in was very lengthy (30min in queue). The bathroom was dirty. Upon checkout, the staff switched from English to a local language although my partner can only understand English, which was impolite. We left the hotel without being told Thank you or Goodbye.
