Close to my Business
I liked everything. Safe. Nice rooms, well equipped. Close to Public transport, shopping center opposite street, excellent breakfast despite some COVID-19 restrictions. Extremely friendly staff. Will stay there again when in Prague.
The location is easily accessible, the breakfast was ok.
The staff at reception desk was rude and made us feel unwelcome. First question: passports. Second: now I need your credit card. That was all. Additionally, the exchange rate used for the conversion, was extremely bad, so the price rose by 4% from the price listed at the time of booking. The receptionst was not able to explain, why such unfavorable exchange rate was used: this is our exchange rate, there's nothing you can do about it anyway, so just pay and leave me alone for the rest of my working day. Well, at least I understood why I had to pay the full price before I even got a room key. No luggage carts, cheap furniture, very noisy, even at night, terrible bed, the mattress won't stay in place no matter what you do, the TV was not working. The whole building (worst place: elevators) shares that distinctive sweaty smell. Not a 4* hotel, service-wise not a hotel at all, you'll just get "a room".
Good transport links into the centre and excellent breakfast
