The accomodation is close to the main train station. We got a nice spacious room, everything well prepared and clean.
1. The personell didn't speak czech nor english. Every day there was a different person and the last day we arrived few minutes after midnight and the receptionist reacted inaproppriately and rudely (like we were robbers, he asked for showing the keys so we had to turn back immediately and he didn't even apologise for the way how he talked to us) on the other hand the receptionist from the first day was very kind and nice. 2. Not existing WiFi. No sign of the WiFi which supposed to be there and reachable from our room. 3. Grounding of the hairdryer to the heating radiator - not very safe without any warning 4. Yellow dusty airways in the doors
Location close to where we wanted to be in Karlin. It was also a nice walk away from the old town, with tram connections nearby. It was close to many good restaurants. I loved the decoration and mood of the place, the real plants in the stairway were wonderful.
It was really hot in our room and opening the window did not help, however, this was to be expected from a 3-star hotel. The breakfast did not quite match its price, as basic items such as Butter were missing and many foods were not fresh.
The place is great if you spend the whole day wandering around the city just to go back to the hotel to catch some sleep. It's close to a bus station that can take you to the city center fairly quickly, however, if you are suddenly craving a kebab or a pizza at 11 PM, you will have to walk up a bit to reach places like Royal Kebab House or Pizza Praha.
The shower was a bit rusty around the edges, the toilet was missing a flush button and the hair dryer smelled really bad. Some of the receptionists we caught on our 4-night stay could only speak Russian and had a hard time understanding English and Czech, but that shouldn't be that big of an issue unless you have some more specific requests.
Good location, not too expensive
WiFi in room very weak, room smelled like people sometimes smoke in it
Room and bathroom was pretty big.
